Joe Wilson Says He Will Not Apologize Again

Good for him:

South Carolina Republican Rep. Joe Wilson, who faces a formal rebuke from his colleagues this week for shouting “You lie!” at the president during a joint address to Congress, said he would offer no further apologies.

“I have apologized to the president, I believe that’s sufficient,” Wilson said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

House Democratic leaders said they would offer a resolution this week to formally admonish Wilson, unless he apologizes on the House floor, which he has said he would not do.

“It’s going to be tough because I respect my colleagues,” Wilson said of the resolution. “I respect civility and I promote civility in every way, particularly on the House floor.”

The same liberal Democrats who called President Bush everything from a "loser" to wanting to "blow things up" (regarding the Iraq war) now want to act they're all about civility and respect for the President because Barry's in charge? Whatever. Wilson's already apologized to the Liar-in-Chief and he accepted it. Time to move on.

Liberal Congressman Pete Stark Calls Blue Dog Democrats "Brain Dead"

A key House liberal suggested Thursday that party moderates who've pushed for changes in health care legislation are "brain dead" and out for insurance company campaign donations.

Moderate Blue Dog Democrats "just want to cause trouble," said Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., who heads the health subcommittee on the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee.

"They're for the most part, I hate to say, brain dead, but they're just looking to raise money from insurance companies and promote a right-wing agenda that is not really very useful in this whole process," Stark told reporters on a conference call.

A spokeswoman for the Blue Dog caucus did not immediately respond to an e-mail request for comment.

Blue Dogs shouldn't pay Stark any mind, after all Stark is the same idiot who once suggested that President Bush found "amusement" at U.S. troops having their "their heads blown off" a couple of years back. It's the liberal way to smear, ridicule and/or impugn those who dare disagree with them. They just can't help themselves.

Pete Stark Finally Says Sorry

The liberal turd from the Bay apologizes for his disgraceful remarks and cries about it afterwards:

WASHINGTON — Democratic Rep. Fortney "Pete" Stark of California apologized Tuesday for comments he made last week suggesting President Bush was sending troops to Iraq to get their "heads blown off for his amusement."

The apology came after the House voted 196-173 with eight members voting present to table a resolution introduced by House Minority Leader John Boehner censuring Stark.

Though the motion amounts to a failed vote, Stark addressed fellow lawmakers afterward to apologize.

"I want to apologize first of all to my colleagues, many of whom I have offended, to the president. his family, to the troops that may have found (offense) in my remarks as were suggested in the motion that we just voted on, and I do apologize. ... With this apology I will become as insignificant as I should be and we can return to the issues that do divide us but that we can resolve," Stark said to applause.

After his mea culpa, Stark walked walked off the floor to the Democratic side of the chamber and for at least five minutes stood sobbing while fellow Democrats gathered around him. Reporters close to the Speaker's Lobby were not able to hear why he was crying.

There isn't any doubt in my mind that Stark meant every word he said when he attacked Bush, and only apologized because the Democratic leadership refused to stand by him. And while we know now that Stark is nothing but an insignificant blathering idiot, the fact that only 5 Democrats joined in wanting to censure Stark is yet another victory for the despicable George Soros-run Left.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A House Democrat accused Republicans Thursday of sending troops to Iraq to "get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."

The outburst from Rep. Pete Stark as the House debated a children's health bill drew immediate condemnation from Republicans who demanded he retract it.

Instead Stark, known for his liberal views and volatile temperament, issued a statement saying Republicans should apologize for voting against an expansion of children's health care.

By a vote of 273-156 the House failed Thursday to override President Bush's veto of legislation to expand the popular State Children's Health Insurance Program.

Stark, who's in his 18th term representing the liberal East Bay near San Francisco, took to the floor to accuse Republicans of funding the Iraq war but not children's health.

"You don't have money to fund the war or children," Stark declared. "But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's amusement."

Before today I didn't even know who this guy was, so i guess I shouldn't be surprised he's from the liberal bastion that is San Francisco where adulterous mayors illegally marry gays, poor people suffer and stem cell research reigns. Yet, you'd think a politician would know better than to allow Rosie O'Donnell and the rest of the loons on the George Soros-run far Left to edit his public remarks. But since Stark is a liberal perhaps he just knows no better because liberals just can't make debate their points without getting nasty and making personal attacks. Disagree with them and they get downright vile. It's just the way of the world for the same hypocrites who claim to speak for "tolerance", but in turn are the most intolerant bunch when it comes to people who dare to hold different viewpoints from theirs.

Liberal comedian Joy Behar calls Michelle Malkin a "selfish bitch" because Malkin supports President Bush's veto of SCHIP. Rosie O'Donnell throws up a picture of Elizabeth Hasselbeck with devil horns on at a recent concert? Why? Because she's still mad at Hasselbeck's conservative views. One can only imagine the cheers the MoveOn heads gave Stark after he spoke and Lord knows how much dough Soros has "invested" in the loon from the Bay. Yet, for his disgraceful remarks on the House floor today, Pete Stark not only owes the President and our troops an apology, but he should never be allowed in the halls of the House again. If the GOP has any guts they should do everything they can to not only make Stark forever regret his vile remarks, but condemn every Democrat choosing to remain silent on the matter. Bush Derangement Syndrome didn't work for John Kerry and the hateful Left back in '04, now the President can't even run for office again and liberals are showing us four years later that they still haven't learned a damn thing. I swear, most of the time they're their own worse enemy.
