Saddam Will Be Dead By Sunday

The evil dictator, who killed hundreds of thousands of people during his reign, will soon be executed:

Saddam Hussein will be executed no later than Saturday, said an Iraqi judge authorized to attend his hanging. The former dictator's lawyers said he had been transferred from U.S. custody, but an Iraqi official said he was still in the hands of American guards. The physical transfer of Saddam to Iraqi authorities was believed to be one of the last steps before he was to be hanged, although the lawyers' statement did not specifically say Saddam was in Iraqi hands.

"A few minutes ago we received correspondence from the Americans saying that President Saddam Hussein is no longer under the control of U.S. forces," according to the statement faxed to The Associated Press.

The statement said U.S. officials asked the lawyers to cancel a trip to Baghdad for a last meeting with Saddam, saying he was no longer in American custody.

Munir Haddad, a judge on the appeals court that upheld Saddam's death sentence, said he was ready to attend the execution. "All the measures have been done," Haddad said. "There is no reason for delays."

In Baghdad, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has signed Saddam's death sentence, a government official said. The official, who refused to be identified by name because he was not authorized to release the information, said that Iraqi authorities were not yet in control of Saddam. The discrepancy could not
be explained.

"We have agreed with the Americans that the handover will take place only a few minutes before he is executed," the official said.

The defense team statement called on "everybody to do everything to stop this unfair execution."

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said opposing Saddam's execution was an insult to his victims. His office said he made the remarks in a meeting with families of people who died during Saddam's rule.

"Our respect for human rights requires us to execute him, and there will be no review or delay in carrying out the sentence," al-Maliki said.

The comedian and co-host of the liberal-dominated yuckfest "The View" had the gall to suggest on air that Senator Tim Johnson's (D-South Dakota) recent ailment could've been caused by a "man-made" conspiracy by the GOP to regain control of the Senate.

On Thursday’s edition of The View, the ladies, along with guest co-host Dari Alexander of Fox News, discussed Democratic Senator Tim Johnson’s emergency brain surgery and the potential political fallout. Alexander explained to the audience that if Johnson had to resign from the Senate, the Republican governor of South Dakota would pick an interim senator to fulfill the remainder of Johnson’s term, thereby creating the potential for an even split in the Senate between Democrats and Republicans. Joy Behar chimed in and put forth another tin foil hat worthy conspiracy theory:

Joy Behar: "Is there such a thing as a man-made stroke? In other words, did someone do this to him?"

Alexander joked that perhaps he had been given polonium, referencing the recent death of the former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, who accused the Kremlin of poisoning him:

Dari Alexander: "Maybe they gave him polonium."

O’Donnell [laughing]: "Oh no, no."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck laughed off Behar’s ludicrous question, referring to her suggestion as a conspiracy theory, but Behar refused to back down:

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: "Let me ask you something. Why is everything coming from the liberal perspective a conspiracy? This is a conspiracy."

Behar: "I know what this–that party is capable of."

With their usual recklessness, Hollywood liberals continue to demonstrate just how stupid they are. And they can get away with it because their audiences almost always consist of pandering trolls who wouldn't dare let something like facts get in the way of their utter hatred of conservatives and the Right. If Barbara Walters (who started "The View") had any guts, she'd hire a more prominent conservative pundit than Hasselback to take on the daily filth, lies and hypocrisy that Behar and Rosie O'Donnell put out, but hey as long as O'Donnell brings ratings, Walters could probably care less about her show being fair and balanced.

Executed Man Took 34 Minutes to Die

STARKE, Florida (AP) -- Death penalty opponents criticized the execution of a convicted murderer who took more than half an hour to die and needed a rare second dose of lethal chemicals.

Angel Nieves Diaz, 55, convicted of murdering a Miami topless bar manager 27 years ago, appeared to grimace before dying Wednesday, 34 minutes after the first dose.

Department of Corrections spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said she doesn't believe Diaz felt any pain and had liver disease, which required the second dose.

"It was not unanticipated. The metabolism of the drugs to the liver is slowed," Plessinger said.

Diaz's cousin Maria Otero said the family had never heard he suffered from liver disease. "Why a stupid second dose?" Otero said.

Gov. Jeb Bush said the Department of Corrections followed all protocols.

"A preexisting medical condition of the inmate was the reason tonight's procedure took longer than recent procedures carried out this year," the governor said in a news release.

A spokesman for Floridians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, called Diaz's death a botched execution.

"They had to execute him twice," Mark Elliot said. "If Floridians could witness the pain and the agony of the executed man's family, they would end the death penalty."

Isn't this supposed to be protected by the 8th Amendment's "cruel and unusual punishment" clause?

Racism Still Exists: So Says We

Horror of horrors. Most Americans, white and Black, acknowledge that racism is still a problem here. This bit of news will probably be shocking to some conservatives who think that racism died when Martin Luther King hit the scene.

Most Americans, white and black, see racism as a lingering problem in the United States, and many say they know people who are racist, according to a new poll.

But few Americans of either race -- just one out of eight -- consider themselves racist. And experts say racism has evolved from the days of Jim Crow to the point that people may not even recognize it in themselves.

A poll conducted last week by Opinion Research Corp. for CNN indicates that whites and blacks disagree on how serious a problem racial bias is in the United States.

Almost half of black respondents to the poll -- 49 percent -- said racism is a "very serious" problem, while 18 percent of whites shared that view. Forty-eight percent of whites and 35 percent of blacks chose the description "somewhat serious."

Asked if they know someone they consider racist, 43 percent of whites and 48 percent of blacks said yes.

But just 13 percent of whites and 12 percent of blacks consider themselves racially biased.

Why is he Person of the Week? For the continual success of his anti-gun initiative, that is, going after out-of-state gun dealers who sell guns illegally, the same illegal guns that trade hands and often come up in major crimes around the nation, especially in larger cities like New York (which also shows an unusually, um, national-minded thinking from a city mayor).

Not only has Bloomberg garnered huge support from city mayors all around the country for his anti-gun initiave, but once again showing how serious he is about his crackdown on illegal guns, on Thursday the Bloomberg administration announced new federal lawsuits against gun dealers in 5 states including Pennsylvania and Ohio. Fifteen other in these states had been sued by Bloomberg back in May, with six having settled and three being monitored by a court-appointed overseer.

Bloomberg, a strong proponent for gun control, has more than held his own backing up one major issue of his administration that he made in his second inaugural address. "No other city or state has ever achieved such an agreement," said the mayor upon his latest success. "It truly represents a major step forward in our fight against illegal weapons." All this despite the fact that most of the beneficiaries of his donations to Congressional candidates have been opponents of gun control.

Gay Mafia Goes After Jennifer Hudson

A few days ago, while reading the news I saw a comment made by Jennifer Hudson, a former contestant on "American Idol" and now one of the stars of the new "Dreamgirls" movie that's about to come out. Apparently Jennifer is getting a lot of deserved acclaim for her supporting role in the flick, to the point that some people are even calling for her to get an Oscar nomination (then too just the fact that you could be a Black woman and steal the spotlight from a co-star who happens to be named Beyonce is a feat in of itself). While I generally associate a high degree of irrelevance when celebrities speak their mind on politics or religion, I was shocked to see Ms. Hudson, a woman with a strong Baptist upbringing, dare to publicly express her feelings about homosexuality that we all know is not favorable to those to control the strings.

Said Jennifer on if being gay is a sin:

“Everybody sins. No sin is greater or different than the other. To each his own. If it don’t bother Jennifer, then Jennifer don’t mind. I don’t really even think about it because I don’t believe in judging people for what they do. According to the way we’re taught, and what it says in the Bible — it is.”

Yeah, the Bible, that conservative bastion of all that is evil to those who call themselves "liberals", a fact Jennifer probably wasn't aware of. That in the hypocritical world of gays, gay activists and liberals (in the underbelly of Hollywood they're often referred to as the "Gay Mafia"}, tolerance must equal acceptance, better yet you are either for homosexuality or against it. You either love the gays or you hate them. So despite the fact that Ms. Hudson seemed to be just giving an opinion based on her religious upbringing or that she didn't make any slurs towards gays, by calling a homosexuality a "sin" (which it is) suddenly she hates the gays. And hey, when you're a new, upcoming star trying to get your shine on in Hollywood, you can't afford to make any mistakes that might ruin your career, much less upset the powerful Gay Mafia. So once the word got out on Ms. Hudson's hatefest, poor Jennifer had no choice but to quickly go on the defensive.

She said: “In a recent interview, I was asked how I reconciled being a Christian with performing at events for my gay fans. I find it upsetting that some folks equate being a Christian with being intolerant of gay people. That may, unfortunately, be true for some, but it is not true for me. I have talked often of my love and support of the gay community. I havesaid again and again that it was the gay community that supported me long before and long after American Idol, and kept me working and motivated. It is the gay community that celebrated my voice and my size and my personality long before Dreamgirls. Yes, I was raised Baptist. Yes, I was taught that the Bible has certain views on homosexuality. The Bible also teaches us not to judge. It teaches us to love one another as God loves us all. I love my sister, my two best friends and my director dearly. They happen to be gay. So what? While some search for controversy, I hope that my friends and fans who know me, know where I stand.”

So by using the "I have gay friends" line, now everything is right with the world and the ignorant, intolerant haters love Jennifer again. But what Jennifer doesn't realize is that a double-minded message lacks power and by catering to haters she fell right into the curse that's ruining our generation: not only do we not have anything to stand for; we don't even have the integrity to back it up. So while I can understand Jennifer feeling the need to change her tune what with her career possibly being on the line, she doesn't get my respect for putting her beliefs aside in order to cater to the ignoramus'.

Bolton Resignation Is Another Victory For Liberals

Unable to win Senate confirmation, U.N. Ambassador John Bolton will step down when his temporary appointment expires within weeks, the White House said Monday.

Bolton's nomination has languished in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for more than a year, blocked by Democrats and several Republicans. Sen. Lincoln Chafee, a moderate Republican who lost in the midterm elections Nov. 7 that swept Democrats to power in both houses of Congress, was adamantly opposed to Bolton.

Critics have questioned Bolton's brusque style and whether he could be an effective public servant who could help bring reform to the U.N.

President Bush, in a statement, said he was "deeply disappointed that a handful of United States senators prevented Ambassador Bolton from receiving the up or down vote he deserved in the
Senate."

"They chose to obstruct his confirmation, even though he enjoys majority support in the Senate, and even though their tactics will disrupt our diplomatic work at a sensitive and important time," Bush said. "This stubborn obstructionism ill serves our country, and discourages men and women of talent from serving their nation."

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass, said Bolton's departure could be a turning point for the administration.

"With the Middle East on the verge of chaos and the nuclear threats from Iran and North Korea increasing, we need a United Nations ambassador who has the full support of Congress and can help rally the international community to tackle the serious threats we face," Kerry said. He said it was an opportunity for Bush to nominate an ambassador "who enjoys the support necessary to unite our country and the world and who can put results ahead of ideology."

In other words, he's your guy so we're not going to like him.

So once again the "Anti-Bush" lunatics win. Bolton doesn't even get a vote. Why? Because some Democrats don't like his "brusque" style (i.e. his support for the Iraq war). Yeah, remember that one the next time anyone deems your personality to be a little too strong for their liking, qualifications for the job aside.

Then too this is probably what we'll be dealing with for at least two years: a group of nuts with no plan of their own who aren't interested in the best interests of the country so much as they're interested in parlaying their contempt for the President.

Hey, Jim Webb has already shown how much of a child he can be. And it won't stop there.

Gridlock. Filibusters. Government shutdowns. Higher taxes. And any and everything anti-Bush. After all, do the loons have their own candidate for a better ambassador? Of course not. But besides that little fact the amusing thing are the loons acting as if the UN has a shred of credibility, dignity, and honor left. As if choosing someone who isn't a paragon of love toward the organization is some sort of smear against it, even having someone from any civilized nation attend this festival of corruption, tyrany, incompetence, and failure is a condescension. After all this is the same Britney Spears who literally had pedophiles across the nation salivating after appearing in a Catholic schoolgirl uniform at 16 for her "Baby One More Time" video, has posed nude or semi-bude for a variety of magazines as well as on TV, kissed Elder Skank Madonna onstage at the 2003 MTV Video Awards, lied for years about her virginity, married a friend for a couple of days just to see what it was like to get married and started a relationship with a guy, Kevin Federline, who had just gotten his girlfriend pregnant.

Seems to me that Britney, despite now being the mother of two kids, is just continuing to be the skank she's always been.

Pamela Anderson Files For Divorce From Kid Rock

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from rap singer Kid Rock after four months of marriage, a pair of celebrity magazines reported on Monday.

"Pamela filed for divorce last week," Anderson's publicist, Tracy Nguyen, told People magazine. "It wasn't a happy Thanksgiving."

Nguyen was not immediately available to comment or provide further details.

A second magazine, Us Weekly, said the divorce papers cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason the two broke up.

Canadian-born Anderson, star of TV shows such as "Baywatch" and a Playboy magazine model, and Rock, whose hit songs include 1998's "Devil Without a Cause," were married in late July aboard a yacht near the French Riviera city of St. Tropez.

Anderson, 39, and Rock, 35, had been involved in a long, on-again, off-again relationship that began as early as 2000 and ended back in 2003 before starting up again.

"Yes, I'm finally getting remarried ... I'm in love. I'm happy," Anderson wrote on her Web site, pamelaanderson.com, back in July. There was no mention on the site of the divorce papers being filed on Monday.

Can't believe it didn't work out, they seemed like such a happy and delightful couple.

As much as I'm proud to be a conservative, I'm not stupid enough to act like racism no longer exists. That's why I'll always fight tooth and nail to support affirmative action and that's why I get upset when people want to group me with the Ward Connerly's of the world all because I don't worship from the altar of white liberals. But when a Star Parker (who I actually respect because unlike most Blacks on the right, she doesn't come off as hateful and actually uses reason while seeking solutions within her arguments) goes out of her way to defend the racist deeds of Michael Richards, I have to admit that being on the right side of the aisle can be a little discomforting to say the least.

Time To Get Rid Of Stephon Marbury

Surprise. Surprise. Stephon Marbury is mad again at everybody but himself:

NEW YORK -- The discord brewing between head coach Isiah Thomas and Stephon Marbury overshadowed everything else that went wrong for the Knicks last night.

On a night when two starters were lost to injury in the first half -- including Channing Frye for three to six weeks with a sprained left ankle -- and the Knicks turned the ball over 26 times in a 106-95 loss to the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden, that's unusual.

Still, the coach and franchise player's disagreement over the reason for Marbury's benching has become the biggest issue on a team full of them.

The point guard started last night but took not a single shot attempt and played just 19:20. He was benched for most of the second half, playing just 4:25, and did not play at all in the fourth quarter.

Why sit Marbury for the second time this week? Thomas claimed it was because Marbury had felt sick yesterday morning, and the coach was looking for more energy on the court last night.

"He didn't feel good this morning," Thomas said. "I just thought in a game like tonight where we needed some energy ... we tried it, didn't work, so I just went with the other guys."

But Marbury denied that he felt ill during the game.

"I had enough in me to play," said Marbury, whose sickness caused him to skip yesterday morning's shoot-around. "I wanted to play."

Marbury said outright that he was not happy with the benching. He said he was about to go onto the court at the start of the second half when Thomas pulled him back, with no explanation.

Seriously. When will the Knicks learn what every other team he's been on (Minnesota, New Jersey & Phoenix) has? Stephon Marbury is not a winner and we'd be better off without him. Marbury is Iverson with a just a little bit less talent (and we've seen how many championships the great A-I has won in Philly). In other words, Marbury's me-first, it's never my fault, blame the coach attitude is a bad mix wherever he goes and the fact that every team he's been on has gotten better after he left proves that Marbury is nothing but a malcontent who'll never be happy unless he's getting the most shots regardless of what his team's win-loss record is. After all, isn't this the same guy who couldnt get along with Kevin Garnett, much less a Hall Of Fame coach in Larry Brown? Now he finally gets the coach he wants and already he's unhappy.

So the best thing Isiah can do is trade him. And package Eddie Curry's lazy ass with him too.

To any team with a decent point (I mean as much as I love Nate Robinson he's still better suited for the bench) and a couple of guys that actually like to play defense. I figure that as long as we're getting back some talent than let Stevie Francis start. But if Isiah wants to keep his job past this season, the best thing he can do for all of us Knick fans is to get rid of Marbury now before it's too late.

Barbara Bush Gets Her Purse Stolen

Apparently, this bit of news has become the talk of Argentina:

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Reuters) -- Reports that an agile Argentine thief snatched the purse of one of the twin daughters of President Bush while U.S. Secret Service agents were nearby had local media in a buzz Wednesday.

"Bush's bodyguards couldn't handle San Telmo purse-snatcher," read a headline on the Web site of official news agency Telam.

Telam said a government source, who asked not to be named, confirmed reports regarding the robbery. Different local reports said the incident happened on Sunday or Monday.

A law enforcement source briefed on the incident told CNN that Barbara Bush's purse was stolen while she was in Argentina with her twin sister, Jenna. But the source said that "at no point were the protectees out of visual contact and at no point was there any risk of harm." Barbara Bush, 24, who has the same name as her grandmother, the former first lady, was in a restaurant in the San Telmo neighborhood when her purse was taken, Telam reported.It was not clear whether she was wearing her purse at the time of the theft or whether she was in an open-air restaurant or indoors.

Radio and television reporters flocked to the main square in the historic neighborhood -- known for its outdoor restaurants and tango performances -- trying in vain to find out in which restaurant the purse had disappeared.

First question: where the hell was the Secret Service? Second, I wonder if the thief had any idea that he was about the steal a purse from one of the daughters of the leader of the free world? Lastly, when did young Barbara become hotter than her twin sister Jenna?

Richards, who played the wacky Cosmo Kramer on the hit TV show "Seinfeld," appeared onstage at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. Kyle Doss, an African-American, told TMZ he and some friends were in the cheap seats and he was playfully heckling Richards when suddenly, the comedian lost it.

The camera started rolling just as Richards began his attack, screaming at one of the men, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass."

Richards continued, "You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf**ker. Throw his ass out. He's a nigger! He's a nigger! He's a nigger! A nigger, look, there's a nigger!" The crowd is visibly and
audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a nigger."

Due to the fact that I dont care what the actors do in their personal life, I've always been and will remain a huge Seinfeld fan. But what's missing here is that Michael Richards has long been known for being a prick. It's well-known in Seinfeld circles that because Richards took his acting profession so seriously he had a hard time adjusting to the eccentric 'Kramer' character. Then too, Richards was none to throw huge tirades when the other actors would forget their lines. Plus, it was Richards who, at first, held on promoting the Seinfeld DVD's all because his post-Seinfeld carrer wasnt going well and he wanted people to stop associating him with "Kramer". So Richards is not only a prick, but a racist one at that.

It wasn't but a week ago that prospective Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told a national media that “Democrats intend to lead the most open. the most honest and the most ethical Congress in history."

And to back up her words what does she do? Yesterday she nominates ethically challenged Senator John Murtha for House Majority Leader, a slap to the face of the more experienced, second-in-line for the job, Senator Steny Hoyer.

Put aside the fact that Murtha has become one of the most popular faces of withdraw the troops from Iraq crowd and you have a man who as Senator has been one of the largest distributors of federal pork as well as an unindicted co-conspirator in the early 80s Abscam scandal. Yet, Pelosi picked him anyway in a move that stunned many, much less served notice that Republicans who've been branding Pelosi for years as nothing but a liberal stooge incapable of bipartisanship were right on the money.

Of course, the fact that Murtha got his ass kicked today by Hoyer makes Pelosi look pretty stupid as well.

No Reports On Voting Fraud When Democrats Win

Now that the Democrats have taken over both the House and the Senate, has anyone noticed that there have been no reports of voting fraud? But wasn't it the Left going ballistic up until the last minute with whines that the GOP would "steal" another election? Yet, there still hasn't been any reports on "fixed" machines. Nor questions surrounding alleged software tampering. Or reports on "black box voting". Not even an accusation of Karl Rowe sticking a gun to voter heads and forcing them to vote Republican. Wow.

Like claims the U.S. was responsible for 9/11 and Republicans were fixing gas prices, the media promoted the left-wing electronic vote-rigging conspiracy.

Now that the votes have been cast and counted, Republicans lost, and the silence of the national media has been deafening.

The idea was that somehow the company Diebold had programmed the machines to let Republicans win. The theory, perpetuated by left-wingers posting on Daily Kos and The Huffington Post and Bev Harris’ book, “Black Box Voting,” was embraced by all three broadcast networks, as well as CNN and MSNBC.

Following Sen. John Kerry’s (D-Mass.) defeat in 2004, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann ignored statements by the candidate’s own Ohio attorney about the lack of evidence of “confirmed fraud.” Instead, Olbermann ranted for days about fraud causing the Kerry defeat during his show “Countdown with Keith Olbermann.”

Leading up to the 2006 election. Lou Dobbs and Kitty Pilgrim waged a five-month long, two-person war against electronic voting in regular “Democracy at Risk” segments during CNN’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight.”

Dobbs fostered mistrust of electronic voting throughout his broadcasts. “When it comes to the federal government, don’t expect much assurance that your electronic vote will be counted accurately. New standards for electronic voting machines may not be ready in fact, for years,” he warned on Oct. 29, 2006.

And on election day 2006, NBC’s Brian Williams said there were complaints of “plain old trickery at the polls.” As Williams tossed the story to reporter Chip Reid, the response came, “Well, most of it, Brian, is electronic voting.”

Ironically, electronic voting went national because of a bipartisan push for election reform after the disastrous 2000 Florida recount. But that bipartisan support for such voting machines turned into allegations and conspiracy theories after the 2004 elections.

Liberal Kingpin Russ Feingold Not Running For President

This bit of news came as somewhat of a shocker. Not that I thought he had much of a chance anyway, but who knows maybe Feingold looked at what happened to Ned Lamont and realized that when your sole backing is a bunch of lunatics, running for President would just be a wasted effort.

WASHINGTON - Sen. Russell Feingold, a leading liberal in Congress and an outspoken foe of the Iraq war, announced on Sunday that he would not seek the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.

"I'm sure a campaign for president would have been a great adventure and helpful in advancing a progressive agenda," wrote Feingold, who is from Wisconsin, in a letter e-mailed to supporters and posted on his Senate campaign web site.

"At this time, however, I believe I can best advance that progressive agenda as a senator with significant seniority in the new Senate serving on the Foreign Relations, Intelligence, Judiciary and Budget committees," the three-term senator said.

Like many members of Congress, Feingold has been mulling for months a possible run for the White House in 2008.

His announcement that he has decided against a presidential bid came in the wake of Democrats winning control of the Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in last week's elections.

The new 110th Congress will convene in January with Democrats in control of both chambers for the first time in 12 years.

During the next couple of months, a number of Democrats and Republicans are expected to announce if they will run for president in 2008.

Ed Bradley Dies From Leukemia

Ed Bradley, the longtime "60 Minutes" correspondent whose probing questions and deceptively relaxed interviewing manner graced some of that show's most notable reports, has died. He was 65.

Bradley died Thursday at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital of leukemia, according to staff members at the CBS program.

Bradley joined "60 Minutes" during the 1981-82 season after two years as White House correspondent for CBS News and three years at "CBS Reports." His reporting over the years won him a Peabody Award, 19 Emmys and a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, among many others. He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Black Journalists.

His most recent Emmy was for a segment about the reopening of the 1950s racial murder case of Emmett Till in Mississippi.

Ed Bradley was all about cool and class. He made me watch "60 Minutes" because as a teen, every time I'd be lucky enough to catch him doing a feature, I knew that it was not only something that I needed to be aware of in general, but something that affected me as a Black man living in America.

Republicans Can Only Blame Themselves . . .

Karl Marx is their God and John Lennon is their Saint. Their song "Imagine" (practically a communist manifesto) is a hymn sung by their entire congregation. Their religion is individual freedom, which denies any and all boundaries. Their motivation is the will to power because power is all that's important when there is no transcendent truth governing all tribes.

The modern "liberal" is not a liberal at all, at least not in a practical sense, he is of his own creation defended by a cohesive and articulate dogma and when this is attacked he becomes contemptuous, derisive, replying with verbal formulas and sarcasm. But most Americans aren't politically astute enough to know the difference or the damage it's done to this country, much less this planet. Instead they gravitate to platitudes and recite them with the passing conviction that "freedom" in place of moral responsibility is the end that justifies the means.

When will conservatives - who really control the electorate, not the ignoramus' on the extreme Right or the lunatics on the Left - learn that the future of this country is in our hands? We are the ones willing to look at most sides of the equation. We are the ones who hold all the people's interests generally at heart. All of the cultural power belongs to the Left, while the extreme Right pollute God's will under the 'guise of moral authority.

Yet, how can a party lose when it's President is presiding over a roaring economy and the lowest unemployment in recent history?

Because Republicans just don't get. They have a great message and mission, but instead of sticking to their plan and going on the offense, they've allowed a party without a plan to make them look like sputtering idiots by consistently putting them on the defense with their lies. Never in my life have I seen something so good argued so poorly. I could write better speeches for the President. I could argue better for why we went into Iraq. I could argue better that the Democratic party have been corrupted by the immoral Left. Yet, I'm just a lowly blogger.

So now we'll get higher taxes, paralysis in Iraq, filibusters, more illegal aliens, more activist judges and Nancy Pelosi.

Ted Haggard's Mis-Adventures Is A Boon To Liberals

Ted Haggard is an idiot and the outing of his carnal adventures couldn't come at a better time for Godless liberals who live for moments when supposed men of cloth are exposed as hypocrites. Here he is speaking to a reporter the other day and admitting to buying meth from that hooker, but refusing to admit that he ever used it. Who the hell buys drugs but doesn’t use it?! OK, maybe Bill Clinton, but you get the point. Haggard also denied ever having homosexual love with Mike Jones, the hooker. He only admitted to getting a “massage” from him. Yeah, right.

Below is a clip from the movie "Jesus Camp" in which Haggard calls homosexuality a sin, one of many instances in which Haggard has used the pulpit to condemn gays, all the while he's the one engaged in a 3-year affair with a man. Yet, the biggest issue here and the one we should all be concerned about is Haggard's wife and kids--the ones who get talked about the least, but end up the most hurt by the ex-preacher lies. Good thing the church didn't waste any time kicking Haggard's dumb ass out.

Black Democrats Voting For Rep. Richard Steele

A coalition of black Democratic political leaders from Prince George's County led by former county executive Wayne K. Curry endorsed Republican Michael S. Steele's bid for the U.S. Senate yesterday.

The support from Curry, five County Council members and others barely a week before Election Day reflects their continued disappointment that the Democratic Party has no African American candidates at the top of the ticket and a sense that the county is being ignored, officials said.

"They show us a pie, but we never get a slice," said Major F. Riddick Jr., a former aide to then-Gov. Parris N. Glendening and a former county executive candidate. "We are here today to say we've waited and we've waited and we're waiting no longer."

Steele, who as lieutenant governor is the first African American elected statewide in Maryland, said he was humbled by the support. "I said I did not want this [campaign] to be so much about party but about the people," he said. "And these people understand that."

Ron Walters, a political science professor at the University of Maryland, said the endorsements could be significant. "This is going to go through the black community like a rocket," he said. "It's going to be the talk of the county, the state, maybe even the nation."

I don't support Michael Steele. As long as he's against affirmative-action, he'll never get my vote. But it's good to see some Black people getting fed up with a Democratic party that more than takes their vote for granted, caters to the wants and needs of white liberals and provides a comfort zone for those same white liberals to use racist terminology against Black people who are members of the GOP.

Sore Loser John Kerry Disses Troops

This is making news all over the blogosphere, but I just caught up to it. Michelle Malkin has a lot more on it, including updates and quotes from troops.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Republicans unleashed a firestorm of criticism Tuesday against Sen. John Kerry after the Vietnam veteran told college students they'd "get stuck in Iraq" if they didn't work hard in school.

Kerry later said the remark was a "botched joke" meant to target the president, not U.S. troops.

Before the clarification, White House press secretary Tony Snow, House Majority Leader John Boehner and Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, lambasted the four-term senator and demanded he apologize. (Watch Kerry's 'botched joke' that launched the political stink -- 1:50 )

A CNN poll suggests that Iraq is the second-most important issue behind the economy as voters ponder for whom to cast their ballots in next week's midterms.

"This is an absolute insult," Snow said at a daily press briefing. "Senator Kerry not only owes an apology to those who are serving, but also to the families of those who've given their lives in this."

I dont necessarily agree with those who think that Kerry has completely gone nuts. I think this is just John Kerry showing his true colors. TIME magazine ran an extended piece about 2 years ago covering Kerry's campaign run and amongst other things, you found a Kerry who was remarkedly indecisive, arrogant, elitist and downright mean. In other words, a prick. An angry prick who still can't believe he lost his one chance at becoming President of the United States.

Kerry just cant come to grips that he himself is to blame for his loss in 2004, instead choosing to still focus his ire at Karl Rove and the Swift Boat Veterans for supposedly smearing him. This still eats at Kerry not only because it cost him his one shot at the White House, but because personally he feels betrayed by fellow veterans of war. That's why Kerry's tirade at Tony Snow shouldn't come as a surprise, nor should the fact that he refuses to apologize for dissing the troops. It's just Kerry being Kerry: a miserable and bitter man lashing out at anyone who'll still listen, but refusing to realize that every time he opens his mouth he just finds a way to make things worse.

"South Park" Mocks Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin

LONDON, England (CNN) -- The cartoon series "South Park" has never been shy of courting controversy, but its latest episode has caused outrage by featuring the recently deceased Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin.

Swearing and random death and destruction are staples of the cartoon, which has been broadcast since 1997. Irwin, killed by a stingray's barb while snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef in September is the latest celebrity to be lampooned by the show.

The episode, aired in the U.S. earlier this week, shows Satan preparing to host a Halloween fancy dress party. Other guests include Princess Diana, Hitler and rapper Notorious B.I.G. Critics have been appalled by the Irwin character's depiction in a bloodstained shirt and with a stingray still attached to his chest.

John Beyer of UK TV watchdog Mediawatch said: "This is such bad taste and the makers of 'South Park' should review their decision to show it. Steve's family are still grieving.

"To lampoon somebody's death like that is unacceptable and so soon after the event is grossly insensitive.''

I have to admit that I watched the show last night and laughed my ass off. I know I'm a horrible person, but at least I can admit it.

Bush: "Marriage Is A Sacred Institution Between a Man and a Woman"

And most Americans agree, but liberal, activist judges don't care what you think:

President Bush said the "sacred institution" of marriage between a man and awoman must be defended against what he called activist court rulings.

Bush briefly brought up the topic, unprompted, while raising money here for a Republican congressional candidate, a day after the New Jersey Supreme Court decided that same-sex couples must be given the same rights as married people.

The court left it up to the state's Legislature to decide whether to extend those rights under the structure of marriage, civil unions or something else.

The president said the ruling "raises doubts about the institution of marriage."

"I believe marriage is a union between a man and a woman," he said. "I believe it's a sacred institution that is critical to the health of our society and the well-being of families, and it must be defended."

Bush did not say how it must be defended. But he has advocated a federal ban on gay marriage. Earlier this year, a proposed constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage failed to win the needed two-thirds support in both the Senate and House.

Liberal activist judges continue to overturn the will of voters as well as the will of our elected representatives. And Senate Democrats continue to block votes on conservative judicial nominees all in the name of Leftist special interest groups who fill their pockets and dominate the Democrat agenda. More than any time ever a grass-roots coalition needs to form and confront a run-away judiciary as well as politicians who turn a deaf ear to their activism.

Unhinged Liberal Of The Week: Hans Blix

Yesterday, former UN chief weapons inspector Hans Blix described the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq as a “pure failure” that left the country worse off than under the dictatorial rule of Saddam Hussein.

Mr. Blix said the situation would have been better if the war had not taken place.

“Saddam would still have been sitting in office. OK, that is negative and it would not have been joyful for the Iraqi people. But what we have gotten is undoubtedly worse,” he was quoted as saying.

Feeding right into the eager embrace of the liberal press and providing new fodder for the upcoming November elections.

Genocide is not joyful, but capturing Hussein was worse.

And how much worse could it have gotten under Hussein? Mass graves are still being excavated, and according to the Documental Center for Human Rights in Iraq, estimated counts of civilian executions lie around 600,000, during his regime.

That is just the number of executions. Now, what about the tortures?

In 2001, Amnesty International released a report outlining the Hussein regime's legacy of torture. This report stated "methods of torture include extinguishing of cigarettes on various parts of the body, extraction of finger nails and toenails and piercing of the hands with an electric drill. Some have been sexually abused and others have had objects, including broken bottles, forced into their anus. In addition to physical torture, detainees have been threatened with rape and subjected to mock executions."

and let's not forget about the plastic shredders . . .

What an absolutely irresponsible and utterly dumb statement to make, especially for Blix, who one would think might know better, no matter what argument anyone may have about the validity of the war in Iraq. Too bad this sort of backwards thinking could greatly affect us all in 2 weeks.
