Neil Cavuto Rips MSNBC And Lawrence O'Donnell for Questioning Ann Romney’s Therapeutic Horse Riding

Glad somebody finally slapped down the racist, creepy, condescending a-hole that is Lawrence O'Donnell:

“I told myself I wouldn’t butt in,” Neil Cavuto told the audience today, before addressing those from “a network with MS in their name” over their mockery of Ann Romney‘s horseback riding. Romney uses horses for treating her multiple sclerosis– an illness Cavuto too has, which led him to explain the legitimacy of this treatment and chide the “condescending, sanctimonious twits” who refuse to acknowledge the legitimacy of MS as a disease and the need to deal with its shortcomings.  


“Because I have MS, my comments might be taken with a grain of pity salt and more than a hint of sympathy bias. Well, guilty as charged,” Cavuto admitted candidly, explaining that this was why he tried to avoid commenting, but “I’ve had enough of condescending commentators on another news channel,” and was concerned that their comments “risk being accepted by an audience that might not know the facts that well.” Explaining that several medical sources find some good in using horseback riding to treat problems with walking in those with MS, he reiterated that “this is a legitimate therapy”– not one he uses, he joked, “because I’m generally bigger than the horses and I don’t want to hurt them.” 

“It seems odd to me a network with the very letters MS in its name wouldn’t resist making fun of someone who has to live with MS every day,” Cavuto continued, “Ann Romney doesn’t need their pity, just their accuracy.” “These guys taking pot shots at Ann Romney are horses’ asses,” he continued, also calling them “condescending, sanctimonious twits who are allegedly healthy,” and their mocking “pure, unadulterated horse… stuff.”

Neil Cavuto Asks Donald Trump ‘If All This Is Just To Get Publicity For Your Book’

Maybe the GOP really doesn't want to win the presidency next year, because anyone who would associate with, much less appear on some stupid debate hosted by the likes of a famewhore like Donald Trump is just begging to lose. That says you Next Gingrich:

This afternoon on Fox News, Neil Cavuto not “disparagingly, just realistically” asked Donald Trump if his upcoming gig hosting a GOP presidential debate for Newsmax if really all little more than an attempt to garner publicity for his new book.


“No, I don’t think at all,” said Trump. “I mean, you know, people talk. Look, I’ve had the number one selling business book. Here we are on a great business show, a fantastic business show that I watch all the time, but as you know, The Art of the Deal was the number one selling business book of all time. I’ve had twelve bestsellers. This is, frankly, a book that I’m very proud of. It’s actually a book I’ve probably worked the hardest on.”


Trump then admitted that all the attention on him right now “doesn’t hurt” his book sales.


Cavuto then began to form a question about the dark times Trump faced coming out of bankruptcy, when Trump interrupted to say that he’s never gone bankrupt. “On the brink, let’s say,” Cavuto ventured. “Neil, I never went bankrupt,” Trump continued. “People say I went bankrupt, but I don’t understand.”


Cavuto noticed that he’d seemed to have “opened up a wound here,” and gave Trump a change to explain what, exactly, had happened to his business in the early 90s.


“Nothing happened,” Trump replied. “I was in trouble like almost everybody else, and I worked out my difficulties. I have some great banks that are with me to this day; they love Trump.”


“I wonder whether candidates who suck up to you fear you as much as they suck up to you,” said a characteristically hesitant Cavuto. “I don’t think they should fear me at all,” Trump replied.


He added, once again, that he’d be open to running if the Republicans don’t pick the “right” candidate. Also, he has a successful show and did well in the polls before he left. Just so you know.

Neil Cavuto Calls Chris Matthews A "Pretentious Snob"

Neil Cavuto noticed the intense coverage as of late for many potential Republican presidential candidates who are often dismissed by the mainstream media as being on the “fringe.” Cavuto suggested that the reason the media tries to laugh them off is because many are “seriously worried that these possible candidates aren’t jokes.”


Cavuto shared with his audience how when he started on Fox News, nobody took him or the channel seriously. Now that he and Fox have grown in prominence and credibility, he realized that the way he previously was treated is the the same way Republican candidates are being treated now. Cavuto suggested that the motto of the media is “if you can’t beat’em, laugh at ‘em and hope folks dismiss them.” Yet if all the Republican candidates are clowns, Cavuto wonders why do so many news outlets continue to cover them?


The most intriguing moment came with Cavuto’s not-so-subtle jab at Chris Matthews. Cavuto asked, “if one pretentious snob at another channel says Michele Bachmann looks like she’s hypnotized, what is behind her hypnotic appeal on your not so appealing show?” And more generally, he questioned “if Donald Trump is a flash-in-the-plan, why do you keep flashing the same plan?” Instead, Cavuto seems to suggest that even if the media tries “to make a collective joke out of all of them along the way,” one of these supposedly “fringe” candidates very possibly could emerge as the legitimate Republican nominee.
