Michael Moore Hopes Hurricane Gustavo Comes Down On GOP Convention

You would think that this asswipe would've learn his lesson from '04 (when his anti-Bushfest Fahrenheit 9/11 helped President Bush get a second term by galvanizing GOP voters to come out and beat John Kerry), but he's too stupid for that:

He said what? Political hothead Michael Moore apparently thinks God is a Democrat - and a vicious one at that.

The confrontational filmmaker put his foot in his mouth on a Friday night appearance on Keith Olbermann's "Countdown" on MSNBC when he made a quip about Hurricane Gustav, which has been bearing down on New Orleans.

"I was just thinking this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven," Moore said. "To have it planned at the same time. I mean, yes, it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for day one of the Republican convention." A spokesman for John McCain called the remark "terrible"

Once again proof surfaces regarding the hypocrisy of liberals, the self-identified "tolerant" wing and their apologists in the media, Of course, Moore would never have to worry about a hurricane harming him, his rolls of fat would no doubt protect him from harm or at the very least his million-dollar condo in New York. What a buffoon.

Nancy Pelosi: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age:
68

Birthplace:
Baltimore, Maryland

Claim To Fame:
current Speaker of the House

Why She's Insane Liberal of the Week:
for her ignorant refusal (despite 73% of Americans who favor it) to allow hearings on off-shore drilling for oil in and off Alaska, while at the same time actually opening the door for Bush Derangement Syndrome-sufferer Dennis Kucinich's impeachment hearings this week. Indeed, Pelosi's stunt is typical of liberal politicians who cater to the lies of militant environmentalism. Instead of helping to reduce oil prices as well as America's dependency of oil, Pelosi, leader of a 14%-approval rated Congress, would rather watch the American people continue to suffer at the pump with higher gas prices than offend her friends in the radical environmentalist lobby.

Sean Penn: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age:
47

Birthplace: Los Angeles, California

Claim To Fame: Academy-award winning, hot-tempered actor who used to beat up photographers while he was married to Madonna

Why He’s The Most Insane Liberal of the Week: for his hateful rant against FOX News this past week.

If you didn’t know already, fun-loving, surfer-dude Jeff Spicoli has become a raging, GOP-bashing liberal who calls the likes of Hugo Chavez and Cindy Sheehan friends. So this past Wednesday Penn, in typical limousine liberal fashion, threw out this rant against the conservative pundits at FOX News: “I almost wish Jerry Falwell were alive to see this. Almost,” Penn shouted to the crowd. After dropping some names of conservatives who are still with us - “Bill O’Reilly, who is too stupid to talk about,” and “Sean Hannity, the butt boy of Rupert Murdoch,” Penn said, “We know something more. We know their end is near.” Ironically, Penn happened to make his “butt-boy” comment to a group of extras while on the set of the new film Milk, a film about gay icon Harvey Milk in which Penn plays the lead.

Of course little has said in the liberal press about Penn’s tirade against FOX. But then it’s only self-righteousness and self-worship that motivates most of these Hollywood actors to make ridiculous comments like this. Often mis-informed and always messing up the facts, it it any wonder why we ask rabble-rousers like Penn to just shut up and act?

Gloria Steinem: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age:
73

Birthplace: Toledo, Ohio

Claim To Fame: feminist icon and founder of Ms. magazine

Why She’s Dumbest Liberal of the Week: For her ridiculous op-ed piece (titled “Women Are Never Frontrunners”) in the New York Times this past in which the staunch feminist (reaching to make excuses for Barack Obama surging past Hillary Clinton the Democratic primaries) asserted that if Obama were a woman, he wouldn’t be elected. Predictably, Ms. Steinem also went on to gripe that gender “is probably the most restricting force in American life.” A blasphemous claim when you consider the dearth of poverty (who would choose being born poor over being born female) as well as the history of race in America (note that Steinem never deals with the hypothetical of where Hillary would be in this race if she was a black woman), but then like most white, liberal feminist bigots, gender still outranks every other oppression known to man, even if the biggest struggle you’ve ever had to deal with as a female was dealing with your husband’s very public extra-marital affairs.

Mind you, Steinem’s op-ed was written before Hillary’s stunning comeback win in the New Hampshire primary. Let’s see if Steinem writes a follow-up blaming Barack’s loss on race.

Helen Thomas: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age: 87

Birthplace: Winchester, Kentucky

Claim To Fame: news service reporter, Hearst Newspapers columnist and member of White House Press Corps

Why She’s the most Insane Liberal of the Week: for picking a fight with White House spokesperson Dana Perino this past week. In a press conference on Wednesday Thomas directly asked Perino about the “number of innocents killed in Iraq”—a tired line long used by liberals to paint our troops as nothing but mindless marauders. Mind you, Thomas, a journalist with over 50 years of experience in news, is the same woman who once said of President Bush: “I’m covering the worst president in American history.”

An obviously upset Perino took offense at Thomas’ line of questioning, apparently believing Thomas was suggesting that U.S. forces deliberately killed innocent Iraqis, a suggestion she called “absurd and very offensive.” Ms Perino acknowledged that “to the extent that any innocent Iraqis have been killed [by U.S. forces], we have expressed regret for it.” But that wasn’t good enough for Thomas as the old far-Left loon responded with “a regret doesn’t bring back a life.”

No class. No shame. No integrity. And how sad it is when someone who is supposed to report the news tries to create it, but what else should one expect from a liberal hack posing as a journalist?

Howard Dean: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age:
59

Birthplace: Town of East Hampton, New York

Claim To Fame: former governor of Vermont and current chairman of the DNC

Why’s He’s The Dumbest Liberal of the Week: for using secular theology in a public speech earlier this week. At a gathering of Jewish leaders, while advocating for prayer teams in public schools, Dean said that there are no impediments for anyone to go to heaven.

His statement was a call for inclusion to the “evangelical” and Jewish groups in the Democratic party. Dean, in attempting show differences between the Republican and Democratic parties, said “that there are no bars to heaven for anybody.” Of course, this kind of “God loves everybody no matter what you do” dogma is typical of liberals who seem to think that seeking forgiveness or following the words of the Bible are a waste of time and effort.

But Dean, who often invokes his brand of religion in his public tirades, should be ashamed of himself for making a statement that when it comes down to it, ridicules Christianity. Yet, coming from Dean we shouldn’t be surprised. After all this is the same man who once characterized Republicans as “religiously and racially exclusive” vs. the inclusion found in the Democratic Party. Any wonder why Dean’s 2004 Presidential-run turned out to be such a flop? It’s because outside of Vermont he’s viewed as nothing but a moron.

Robert Redford: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age: 71

Birthplace: Santa Monica, CA

Claim To Fame: actor, director and founder of the Sundance Film Festival

Why He’s Insane Liberal of the Week: for using his new film, “Lion for Lambs” to promote anti-Bush, anti-American, left-wing zealotry. In “Lambs” Redford, a longtime Hollywood liberal whose made his fortune here in America, plays a college professor trying to motivate a politically ambivalent student in a flick loaded with typical leftist clichés including an “evil Republican” senator (played by Tom Cruise) with plans to bomb Afghanistan. Yet, despite its star power (Meryl Streep also appears as a cynical liberal news journalist) “Lion for Lambs” has been reviewed by many as so lame and lopsided that it seems destined to bomb just like recent leftist drivel “Rendition” and “In The Valley Of Elah” did. Indeed, the Sundance Kid (who if I recall correctly reneged on his promise to move to Ireland if Bush was elected) is probably too busy flying in one of his high-priced jets to realize that movie goers have long tired of films drenched in idiot liberal propoganda.

Tim Robbins: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age:
48

From:
West Covina, CA

Claim To Fame:
actor, director and longtime boyfriend of fellow liberal nutcase Susan Sarandon

Why He's This Week's Insane Liberal of the Week:
for going on Bill (ex-boyfriend of porno star
Superhead) Maher's show this past week and doing what your typical Hollywood liberal does best: lie and distort facts. This time Robbins loudly claimed that U.S. troops had "killed over 400,000" Iraqi citizens since the beginning of the war. But that's a flat-out lie that even the leftwing Iraq Body Count website disputes (their alleged number is just over 77,000). So not only are Robbins numbers far from the truth, it's a blatant smear of our troops. Yet, for Robbins and his ilk, no need to let the facts get in the way of a good lie, no matter at whose expense said lie is directed towards.

Elizabeth Edwards: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age: 58

Birthplace: Jacksonville, Florida

Claim To Fame: attorney and wife of former U.S. senator John Edwards

Why She’s The Most Insane Liberal of the Week: for continuing to allow her husband to use her as a pawn in his Presidential aspirations.

A week after working hand-in-hand with Chris Matthews to backstab conservative pundit Ann Coulter on Matthews’ low-rated “Hardball” show, Mrs. Edwards continued her verbal attacks on Coulter this past week. Interviewed Thursday on the CBS’ “Early Show,” Mrs. Edwards said that it didn’t used to be all right for people to “call names, to say these hateful kind of things.” Edwards said as a parent, she doesn’t think it should be allowed to happen now.

Yet, Mrs. Edwards seems to conveniently forget that it was she who played a key role in hiring two anti-Catholic bigots to help run her husband’s campaign not too long ago. Granted, the bigots would later resign, but that was only after conservative groups expressed outrage at the hirings in the press. Then too, just as her husband tried to garner sympathy votes by using her announcement that her cancer had returned recently for campaign funds, Mrs. Edwards made it clear that she has no problem with her husband using Coulter’s comments as a fund-raising tool, saying that “it’s showing what they’re asking voters to reject.” Either this woman is completely incompetent or just as shady as her husband. Or maybe she’s just a Stepford wife quietly begging to be rescued from her Svengali. Who knows. But one thing’s for sure: the two losers certainly deserve each other.

Richard Gere: Insane Liberal of the Week

Because his career topped out so long ago (See: "An Officer and a Gentleman" and "Pretty Woman") it's easy to forget about Richard Gere when you think about rich Hollywood liberals who hate the very country they made their fortunes in. However, that doesn't mean that ole' Richard can't keep trying to get back on the A-List of Insane Hollywood Liberals:

Appearing on Wednesday's (March 14) Late Show with David Letterman, actor Richard Gere declared: “We have a President right now who lies constantly and gets away with it apparently.” Gere's comment, which drew applause from the audience in Manhattan, came in response to Letterman
asking Gere, who was on the show to promote The Hoax, a movie opening in April in which he stars as Clifford Irving who wrote and sold a bogus autobiography of the reclusive Howard Hughes: “Is this the kind of thing that can happen now?”

Gere also contended that “the second Watergate where they got caught actually had a lot to do with the material that's in this book, in the fake autobiography, because Clifford made up a lot of things about Hughes and Richard Nixon and they ended up being true. But Nixon was the only one that knew they were true and so the break-in was actually to find out how much the Democratic Party knew.”

As Rush Limbaugh is so famous for saying:

"With Liberals, it is always the seriousness of the charge, and not the nature of the evidence that matters."

So it is true for the Hollywood elite. They spout names and accusations without any proof to support their slanderous rhetoric. Nothing save for the mud they sling. You can do your part to diss Gere by not putting even more money in his already deep pockets and boycott his new movie.
