O'Connor said the controversy will fade over Obama's criticism of the court's recent campaign finance decision during his annual address to Congress. His remarks prompted Justice Samuel Alito to shake his head and mouth the words "not true."

But she said she wouldn't be surprised if fewer justices attend in the future. Justices John Paul Stevens and Antonin Scalia haven't gone for years and Justice Clarence Thomas rarely goes.

"You might see a diminution in numbers. It's always been uncomfortable. There were always people who thought, `God, do we have to go? Let's don't.' So it's been kind of a struggle to get them there anyway," O'Connor said.

Indeed, Barry's unprecedented attack on SCOTUS, to their faces at his first SOTU this year, may turn out to be, by far, his dumbest.

Some students at the College of William & Mary are questioning the use of student activity funds to bring a controversial cabaret-style show to campus.

The "Sex Workers' Art Show" was performed Monday on the campus. Various student groups, including the campus gay and lesbian organization, helped to sponsor the event. The show travels nationally featuring former and current sex industry workers. It attempts to dispel negative stereotypes.

"It's degrading to women!" said Ashley Bush, a William & Mary freshman. "I heard they had prostitutes there showing you how to do things that you really don't need to do."

The show was sold out with 300 attendees. More than 100 had to be turned away. $3,000 was requested by the Lambda Alliance to sponsor the show, however, only $1,800 dollars from the Office of Student Activities was awarded. The Women's Studies Department donated $200. The Lambda Alliance also brought the show to campus last year.
