Pastor Robert Jeffress sat down with Bill O’Reilly Monday night to argue that President Obama
is laying the groundwork for the rise of the Anti-Christ because he is
“conditioning” people to rely on government support. He said there will
be a “future world dictator before Christ returns who’s going to usurp
people’s personal rights, and “change God’s laws… without any
opposition” so “people will have been conditioned long before the
Antichrist comes to accept government overreach, and that’s what you’re
seeing with President Obama.”
He said, “I’m not saying President Obama is the Anti-Christ. In fact,
I’m sure he’s not, because the Anti-Christ is going to have higher poll
numbers.”
He argued that in addition to Obamacare creating a culture of
dependency, Obama is sowing the seeds for the Anti-Christ with the
contraception mandate and “abortion-inducing drugs,” as well as the
“redefinition of marriage.” He argued that gay marriage is simply a
“counterfeit” of real marriage, and “whenever you say marriage is
whatever you want it to be… people say why bother getting married at
all.”
Hopefully, this smug speech comes back to bite him if he ever decides to run for POTUS, much less re-election as governor of New York:
Forty-eight percent of Americans
and all priests and nuns are no longer welcome in the Empire State,
according to its governor. Delivering a monologue on Republicans with
all the hyperbole of an MSNBC anchor and none of the charm, Cuomo offered this:
You have a schism within the Republican Party. … They’re
searching to define their soul, that’s what’s going on. Is the
Republican party in this state a moderate party or is it an extreme
conservative party? That’s what they’re trying to figure out. It’s a
mirror of what’s going on in Washington. The gridlock in Washington is
less about Democrats and Republicans. It’s more about extreme
Republicans versus moderate Republicans.
… You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican Party
candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by
moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the
Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these
extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon,
anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and
they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of
New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.
If they’re moderate Republicans like in the Senate right now, who
control the Senate — moderate Republicans have a place in their state.
George Pataki was governor of this state as a moderate Republican; but
not what you’re hearing from them on the far right.”
He at least uses the liberal pejoratives for those who are pro-2nd
Amendment and oppose gay marriage. “Right to life” he uses as if it’s
offensive on its face. As Life News notes, he leans heavily on the
President Barack tactic to simply declare everyone who disagrees with
your positions in the slightest “extreme,” even if many of those people
are your constituents. But how extreme is the pro-life position, even in
a blue state like New York? Unlike, say, gay marriage, the polling on
abortion restrictions, particularly second and third trimesters,
regularly and overwhelmingly favors the more conservative position.
Cuomo spent much of 2013 trying to pass a Reproductive Health Act
that moved the opposite direction of abortion legislation in states like
Texas and North Carolina. He took from the Dr. Gosnell’s House of
Horrors story that, hey, who shouldn’t be able to perform abortions, huh?
The legislation, which was stuck into a broader Women’s Equality Act,
stalled in the Senate because of its abortion provisions and under
strong fire from the state’s bishops, who apparently are also no longer welcome in New York.
One 2013 poll, commissioned by the Chiaroscuro Foundation found, just
as in the rest of the country, though many consider themselves
pro-choice, they are very open to restrictions to abortion in the second
and third trimesters and think abortions are already accessible enough
in their state. A few of the questions lean on the prejudicial, but the bent of the electorate is clear:
The findings conclude that an overwhelming majority of
New Yorkers support sensible restrictions on abortions, with eighty
percent (80%) opposing unlimited abortion through the ninth month of
pregnancy and seventy-five percent (75%) opposing changes in current law
so that someone other than a doctor can perform an abortion.”
Staff members of the Arizona affiliate of Planned Parenthood are celebrating the season by changing the lyrics of the traditional Christmas carol, “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” to accommodate the abortion industry.
Planned Parenthood Arizona says it
"wants to wish everyone happy holidays and a wonderful 2014!" They add,
"We hope you will enjoy this original song written by staff and
performed by volunteers. And, if you want to know more about the
different types of birth control mentioned in the song, visit
www.ppaz.org."
Introducing "The Twelve Days of Contraception"
or, as Planned Parenthood has named it, "The Twelve Days of Christmas
(the contraceptive version)," where your true love will bestow upon you a
box of Plan B, condoms, Depo-Provera shots, NuvaRings, birth control
pills, dental dams, diaphragms, and other contraceptive goodies:
A national pro-life organization is outraged after three major
American newspapers rejected a pro-life ad as “too controversial.”
The Chicago Tribune, USA Today, and the LA Times refused to run an advertisement created by Heroic Media.
The ad features a hand holding a 20- to 24-week-old baby with the
quote, “This child has no voice, which is why it depends on yours. Speak
Up.”
Heroic Media Executive Director Joe Young said he was shocked and
angered that the media outlets were willing to talk about the issue but
were unwilling to show the reality of life at 20 weeks.
“I am disturbed that these papers would run article after article
promoting the notion that abortion is a victimless act without
consequences,” Young said. “The fact remains, children who are unique
individuals – never again to be duplicated – are being killed in the
most violent way imaginable and they feel the excruciating pain of that
death.”
The newspapers took issue with the image of the baby.
“It seems as though it is okay to talk about the issue in general,
but when you actually put a face to the discussion, then it becomes
controversial,” Young said.
Last week after the House passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child
Protection Act, Heroic Media put out a statement requesting that the
pro-life community contact their senators and encourage them to consider
and support the Act.
“Americans deserve to know the truth about the children sentenced to
die for no fault of their own and that we have a chance to spare some of
them through this legislation,” Young said.
The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act prevents an abortionist
from performing an abortion at or after 20 weeks, based on empirical
scientific medical evidence that proves that unborn babies can feel
pain.
Science shows that at eight weeks after fertilization, the unborn
child reacts to touch, and at 20 weeks, the unborn baby responds to what
would be felt as pain.
The image shows a 20- to 24-week-old baby in a person’s hands. Heroic
Media’s goal was to show what life looks like at 20 weeks. The
non-profit organization has resubmitted the ad with a different image,
now one of a 20-week-old baby in utero.
The Chicago Tribune has now agreed to run the ad with the second image as long as Heroic Media indicates that it is an advertisement.
“Our hope is that the American public begins to advance this debate with both the mother and child in mind,” Young said.
Heroic Media is a non-profit whose mission is to educate the public
in general and reach women facing unplanned pregnancies with
life-affirming alternatives through the use of mass media, such as
television commercials, internet outreach, and billboards.

Tensions in Texas ratcheted a bit higher Tuesday as activists on
both sides of the abortion issue squared off at the Capitol in Austin
for a somewhat odd religious-themed shout-down.
Gov. Rick Perry
has called for a second special session to pass an abortion law that
would prohibit the procedure past the 20th week of pregnancy.
Pro-choice protesters shouted, “Hail Satan!” as an attempt to drown out pro-lifers’ rendition of “Amazing Grace.”
A Texas blogger, Adam Cahm,
captured the scene on video: “It’s been a very interesting day at the
Texas State Capitol. … LetTexasSpeak has been doing a live broadcast
from the rotunda where women have been sharing their abortion related
testimonies. The pro-abortion crowd has responded with repeated chants
of ‘hail Satan.’ It’s taken us all day to get a video recording,” The
Blaze reported.
On October 10th, the Women Speak Out PAC, the super PAC of the national
pro-life Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List), will announce a $150,000 ad
buy in Virginia and unveil a new television ad at a press conference in
the state capitol in Richmond. The ad, which exposes President Obama’s
opposition to legislation providing equal treatment to babies born alive
after a failed abortion, will be played at the press conference. SBA
List President Marjorie Dannenfelser will be joined by State Delegate
Brenda Pogge as well as abortion survivor Melissa Ohden and nurse and
whistleblower Jill Stanek, both featured in the new TV spot.
On Thursday night, Anderson Cooper in his “Keeping Them Honest” segment confronted Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz for “misquoting” the Los Angeles Times in a fundraising email that sought to link Mitt Romney‘s abortion stance with Rep. Todd Akin‘s. Repeatedly challenging her assertions, Cooper asked her to acknowledge the incorrect quote. Schultz refused. The email said the GOP “just voted to embrace Akin’s position by
including a constitutional ban on all abortions — even in cases of rape
or incest — in their 2012 platform.” Then, Cooper noted that Schultz
calls out Romney and Paul Ryan for “saying they don’t entirely agree with that plank,” and moved on to the LA Times quote the email cited to back up the point:
“…but guess what? The Los Angeles Times reported
yesterday that the platform was, and I quote, ‘written at the direction
of Romney’s campaign.’”
While those quoted words did appear in the Times, Cooper said, they were taken “completely out of context.” For reference, the portion in question from the Times (emphasis mine on the quoted bit):
There is no doubt about who is in charge, of course. Delegates
for presumptive nominee Mitt Romney are voting down substantive changes
to the platform language that was written at the direction of Romney’s
campaign. The biggest question is whether the tone remains
polite, as it was at the outset of two days of deliberations, or whether
dissenters spoil the image of harmony that the Romney campaign is
working hard to produce.
Cooper argued that the email uses the quote to make a point that the
original statement doesn’t suggest — and that the facts aren’t quite
solid: “First, the abortion language in the 2012 platform, it hardly
differs from the 2008 language and the 2004 language in the platform.
That language obviously wasn’t written by the Romney campaign.” Second,
Cooper said CNN’s Peter Hamby was in the room while the
platform was being drafted, and Hamby said Romney advisers made a
suggestions, but not on the abortion plan.
Turning to Schultz, Cooper confronted her with their attempts to tie
the Romney/Ryan platform on abortion to Rep. Akin (given his recent
controversy). He then asked whether she acknowledges that Romney does
support abortion in cases of rape, incest and danger to the life of the
mother. In response, Schultz fell back on her decided talking points,
noting the need for voters to see the dramatic contrast between the two
sides when it comes to women and their reproductive choices — and
pointing to the GOP platform that makes no exceptions in its stance
against abortion.
Cooper challenged her, reminding her that the email said the Romney
campaign directed the writing of the platform. Factually speaking, he
said, Romney did not design the abortion platform nor was it among the
topics of suggestions the campaign made.
Pressed further, Schultz acknowledged that Romney’s stance on the
issue differs from his party’s platform, but she argued that he talks
the talk and “certainly doesn’t walk the walk.” Upon her asserting that
he’s “embraced his party’s platform,” Cooper again came back to the
issue of the misquote — further egged on by Schultz’s nonchalant
response: “It doesn’t matter.”
“It does,” he said. “I don’t understand why you would need to do that.”
After a bit more of Schultz driving her point about the contrast
between the two candidates, Cooper asked whether she acknowledges that
the quote in the email is “completely incorrect.”
“No, I don’t acknowledge that,” Schultz replied, adding that Romney
“can’t separate himself” from the GOP platform. A visibly frustrated
Cooper told her, “He has.”

On Friday's NBC Today, chief medical editor Nancy Snyderman
explained to viewers that it's just good science to abort an unborn
child that may have a genetic disorder, explaining that testing for such
conditions, "gives parents a chance to decide whether they're going to continue that pregnancy or not. This is the science of today." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump]
Snyderman then predicted: "I think the future will be such that you'll
find out that your child may have a genetic hit. You can fix that
genetic problem, and improve your chance, a child's chance..." When
co-host Savannah Guthrie raised ethical questions about aborting
children under such circumstances, Snyderman matter-of-factly replied: "Well, I'm pro-science, so I believe that this is a great way to prevent diseases."
Earlier in the discussion, advertising executive Donny Deutsch raised
the possibility of parents using the genetic information to abort
children based on superficial preferences: "Look, I'm a pro-choice guy,
but at the end of the day what's stopping people, "Oh, my son is going
to be blonde, I want..."
Snyderman largely dismissed such concerns: "I get the genetic
engineering issue. But the reality is we've already jumped out of that
with amniocentesis. So, the science is there. The problem is that
science goes faster than we have these societal questions. And that's
exactly why we should have these societal questions now."
While Snyderman sounded briefly open-minded on the issue, she soon made
her "pro-science" declaration and later completely rejected any legal
argument against selective abortions.
Attorney Star Jones raised the possibility: "...at what point will the
courts step in and say, 'No, this is too late in the gestation
process'?" Snyderman asserted: "They won't. They won't. They won't."
Jones responded: "Well, we'll see what's happening in the next
presidential election." Snyderman insisted: "Not if you can save a life
and prevent a disease. You can't make a case for that."
Later on the show, Snyderman suggested Saudi Arabia had a better record on providing equal pay for working women than the United States.
It's no secret to conservatives that the Obama administration and the corrupt, radical and historically racist Planned Parenthood have a profound love for each other--a love that stretches into cronyism, policy and of course, heavy funding and corruption. But who knew it also involved turning a blind eye to gender-selective abortions and medicaid fraud? Well, here's a looksee:
Want to see a real war on women? Not one defined by the
opposition to the imposition of a Hubby State and subsidies, but one in
which women of the future are systematically eliminated? Live Action
went undercover last month at a number of abortion clinics across the
nation to expose how the abortion industry assists and even encourages
gender-selective abortion, a global trend that has eliminated tens of
millions of girls before they ever draw breath outside the womb. The
video also shows a Planned Parenthood counselor in Texas explaining to a
young mother how to defraud Medicaid:
“This was a multi-state, national investigation demonstrating that this is a widespread problem across our country,” Live Action president Lila Rose told The Daily Caller in an interview Monday.
“First of all, the statistics and studies indicate that we are adding to the growing problem across the world of sex-selective targeting of unborn girls for abortion. We are going to be demonstrating — starting with this video from Texas — that the abortion industry in the United States is aiding and abetting this horrific problem.”
The first in what Live Action says is a series of videotaped incidents exposing American abortion facilities’ willingness to assist in sex-selection abortions took place at a South Austin, Texas Planned Parenthood clinic. In the footage, a Planned Parenthood counselor appears to readily assist and advise a Live Action actor who said she was trying to obtain an abortion if her baby is female.
“In this video, what is astounding is that Rebecca, the Planned Parenthood counselor, starts arranging with the actor about how to get a late-term abortion,” Rose said. “To wait until her pregnancy is so developed that — and using Medicaid for this, using the state to pay for the ultrasound to determine the gender, and then to do a late term abortion if it was a little girl.”
Welcome to the real war on women. This one has real casualties, too. But even if one supports abortion rights for whatever purpose, should taxpayer dollars flow to organizations that offer advice on how to defraud Medicaid?
