Howard Dean Tells College Students Fox News Lies - Then Lies to Them Four Times

The disgustingly sanctimonious Howard Dean gave a lecture at Carnegie Mellon University on March 24 wherein he once again attacked Fox News calling it a propagandist arm of the Republican Party that lies to the American people.


Ironically, during his one hour speech, the former Vermont governor committed some laughable whoppers of his own.


To give his audience an idea of what he considers real news, Dean actually said CBS's Katie Couric is balanced.


And then the lies began.


"The top one percent of Americans owns twice as much as the percentage of America than they did 20 years ago, and that of course has to come from somebody else, and it comes from the people who aren't in the top one percent."


Nonsense. The reason people at the top have seen such huge wealth gains in the past 20 to 30 years is because of an increase in stock, commodity, and real estate prices. This is what they invest in, and those investments - despite several bubble bursts - have done extremely well.


It really is a disgusting myth foisted upon the society by America's liberals that the rich take from the poor. The rich don't think about how to get money from the poor because the poor don't have any money to take.


But Dean was just getting warmed up, for he next claimed Republicans controlled the House and the Senate for six years while George W. Bush was President.


I guess Dean forgot that while he was governor of Vermont, a Republican Senator from his state by the name of Jim Jeffords defected from the GOP on May 24, 2001, giving the Democrats back the Senate.


As such, Republicans controlled both chambers of Congress less than 4 1/2 years while Bush was in the White House.

Will NPR Pay For Firing Juan Williams?

Just like ACORN, NPR shouldn't be receiving taxpayer dollars if their employees are bound to the interests of the far-Left agenda. And the idea that it's just a coincidence that Williams got canned the same week George Soros donated millions to sister organization Media Matters (in an admitted attempt to harm FOX News) is ridiculous. By the way with Juan Williams gone, NPR no longer has any black journalists, where's the NAACP and Rev Al on that display of bigotry?

Greta Van Susteren Smacks Down Radically Feminist Lawyer Gloria Allred

Greta Van Susteren on Friday absolutely skewered Gloria Allred, the attorney representing California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman's former housekeeper.

 In a fiery nine minute discussion on Fox's "On the Record," the host accused her guest of being "unthinkable" and "rotten" by bringing this issue to light, especially right before an election.


"You're getting your client deported by putting a big neon sign, 'Hey, I'm here illegally, I signed documents falsely, and I've done that under penalty of perjury,'" scolded Van Susteren.

But, but, but according to the liberal meme FOX News is nothing but the poltical arm of the GOP:

If Ben Quayle’s intention when he called President Obama the ‘worst president in history‘ was to gin up enough attention to push him into the lead of the large GOP pack running for Congress in his Arizona district, than mission accomplished! Quayle won the primary on Tuesday with 22% of the vote. 


Along with that win, however, is coming some less than ideal attention. Quayle appeared on Greta Van Susteren’s show last night to talk about his win, and Greta subsequently asked him about his ‘Brock Landers‘ history on the DirtyScottsdale.com: “What is this Dirty.com? Explain to me, did you post there? And did you post the stuff that people say you posted there?” 

Answered Quayle: “I’ve had nothing to do with that website you’ve just talked about. This is about a few post, satirical and fictional posts that were put out on a blog that doesn’t even exist anymore…and it’s been run through the wringer.”

If nothing else Quayle has mastered the political art of not saying your opponent’s name, be that opponent a website or a person. Also, he says he’s never been degrading to women and that the unfortunate fallout from this whole debacle is that a truly distasteful website is getting a lot of traffic. In Quayle’s defense, he appears to merely be the first in what will inevitably will be a long line of politicians who have a history on the Internet. And as Internet histories go, his appears to be rather tame.

Sarah Palin testified Friday about the disruption and hurt caused when her e-mail account was hacked during the 2008 presidential campaign and said outside court that there should be consequences for what happened.

She declined to say if she thinks conviction of the 22-year-old defendant should lead to prison or if community service would be punishment enough. "That's up to the judge," she said when she stopped to talk to reporters outside the courthouse.

Former University of Tennessee student David Kernell, the 22-year-old son of a Democratic state lawmaker, is charged with hacking the Yahoo! e-mail account as Palin campaigned in 2008 as the Republican vice presidential candidate.

Kernell faces up to 50 years in federal prison if convicted of identity theft, mail fraud and two other felony charges. His lawyer has said the case is a prank and Kernell had no criminal intent.

Asked outside the courtroom if she thought the charges against Kernell were excessive, Palin said, "I don't know, but I do think there should be consequences for bad behavior."
