Angry Lesbian Activist Rosie O'Donnell's Show Cancelled By Oprah Winfrey

Rosie O'Donnell, another morally bankrupt, white, liberal gay activist who "found out" she was gay in her 30's, had her talk show cancelled by Oprah Winfrey's OWN network yesterday.

This news shouldn't be a surprise to conservatives who've long known O'Donnell as a leftist bully, habitual liar, 9/11 Truther, atheist and angry lesbian activist. Yet, despite a resume that also includes failed talk show stints, failed magazines, racist comments against Asians, disrespectful remarks against Republicans presidents, public feuds with anyone who dares to disagree with her and a host of anti-Christian bigotry, O'Donnell was given yet another chance at the limelight by famous black liberal Oprah Winfrey. But after only 5 months of being on air, The Rosie Show, O'Donnell's first big TV project since leaving The View, is now kaput and Oprah Winfrey will no doubt be looking for yet another failed far-Left liberal to replace her:
Things ain't so rosy for Rosie O’Donnell: OWN has cancelled her daily talk show.

“The Rosie Show” will tape its final show on Tuesday, according to the network. The final episode will air on Friday, March 30.

The gabfest, which brought in minuscule ratings, debuted on OWN in October 2011 and was on the air for five months. It had occupied the same space where Winfrey’s long-running daytime show was shot in Chicago’s Harpo Studios. After millions were spent to renovate the space, the show underwent a format change, initiated by O'Donnell, in January that downscaled the show, ridding it of the studio audience and band.

O'Donnell also cleared out much of the staff with close ties to Winfrey and her old talk show — which led to clashes between O’Donnell and OWN over the show’s direction. There was concern that O’Donnell was going rogue.

“I thank Rosie from the bottom of my heart for joining me on this journey. She has been an incredible partner, working to deliver the best possible show every single day,” Oprah Winfrey said in a statement. “As I have learned in the last 15 months, a new network launch is always a challenge and ratings grow over time as you continue to gather an audience. I’m grateful to Rosie and the dedicated Rosie Show team for giving it their all.”

This is the latest high-profile exit from the network, which has witnessed a revolving door of executives and on-air talent. Winfrey’s good friend, Gayle King, also left her OWN talk show several months ago to join "CBS This Morning" with Charlie Rose.

Bill O’Reilly And Panel Are Skeptical Of Oprah’s Rosie O’Donnell TV Gamble

Mediaite.com:
Wednesday night, Bill O’Reilly focused his attention on Oprah Winfrey’s struggling OWN network and on its hope that actress, TV personality and prolific blogger Rosie O’Donnell might be able to lend it a dose of star power and a healthy boost in viewership with The Rosie Show. He brought on marketing strategist Laura Ries and New York Post reporter Sean Daly to discuss.

Ries agreed with O’Reilly assessment that O’Donnell is a risky choice for the network given she has “staked a claim in far-left territory” throughout her career, but that it’s a risk the flagging network has to take in the hopes of injecting some sort of interest into its programming. Daly weighed in, opining that the network would have to keep “a tight rein” on the actress, which was met with more than a smidge of skepticism by O’Reilly.

The panel also expressed doubt about whether O’Donnell would be able to recapture the viewers and success she enjoyed back in the 90s as host of her very popular daytime talk show. You know, when she was more “Tom Cruise is a cutie patootie” and less “9/11 was an inside job.” And then there’s the issue of whether advertisers are open to being associated with someone as polarizing and potentially controversial as O’Donnell. O’Reilly noted that “if she gets eyeballs, she gets advertisers,” noting that controversy could very well work in O’Donnell’s favor as long as it translates into viewers. And, obviously, he’s pretty shrewd when it comes to analyzing media trends:

But remember though, she did well in The View in the sense that she increased viewership there, but part of it was sensationalism. And then NBC tried to hire her — Remember this? — and they gave her a variety show which lasts, what, twelve minutes? I don’t even think it got through the hour. She brought on these communist jugglers and that was it, they had to pull the plug. That was a joke; they didn’t really have communist jugglers.

…But they might have.

Please, please invite Bill onto your show, Rosie! And, heck, a communist juggler or two.

(Also: please don’t miss O’Reilly clever self-promotion when he lists examples of his show: “No Rizzoli and Isles, no Jersey Shore. No O’Reilly Factor.”)

Rosie O’Donnell: Without Due Process For Bin Laden, We May Be ‘Monsters’

Sympathy for the terrorists, only the loons:
Rosie O’Donnell is making some waves suggesting America may have become the type of “monsters” we loathe with our targeted killing of Osama bin Laden. Uncomfortable with the wild celebrations last week of “drunken fraternity boys” celebrating Bin Laden’s death in New York and Washington, Rosie also reveals that she expects America to be an example for how we want other countries to act and was disappointed we were not the leader of morality and fairness here.

Rosie explains:

“You can also be upset about the fact that he didn’t have due process, that he didn’t get tried, that he wasn’t you know brought to The Hague for war-crime tribunal. . . . Many, many people, including now on the Twitter feed say, ‘Well, Rosie, it was illegal for them to fly planes into the Twin Towers.’ I’m fully aware of that. Because other people are capable of criminal acts on our soil doesn’t equate to ‘therefore, we are allowed to do criminal acts on their soil.’”

Never one to shy away from her opinion, Rosie wonders, “you don’t want to become what you loathe, wasn’t the whole point of this is that we are not monsters?”

Rosie O'Donnell Agrees With Helen Thomas, Says Jews Should Get Out Of Palestine

[F]resh from declaring “communism” as the answer to dealing with corporate misconduct in America, O’Donnell actually appears to agree that Jews should depart Israel for Germany and Poland, especially since (GET THIS) THE OVENS ARE GONE!
Rosie O’Donnell has confirmed that she wants to return to daytime television with a new talk show in the fall of 2011. The timing is considered significant because that’s also the time The Oprah Winfrey Show is scheduled to end.
O’Donnell may have her sights on the Queen of Daytime TV’s throne, but she’ll have to compete with other major daytime hits like The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dr. Phil and Judge Judy.
Wow.

Sick And Twisted Rosie O'Donnell Compares Catholic Church To Guyana Jonestown Cult Killings

RadioEqualizer:
While few would consider the Vatican's handling of abuse claims to be particularly stellar, the Church's traditional opponents on the left certainly have managed to exploit the situation for political gain.

Then, there is libtalker Rosie O'Donnell, who has found a way to take Catholic-bashing to a whole new level. In Rosie's twisted world, there's really no distinction to be made between the Pope and Jim Jones, murderous cult leader responsible for the deaths of more than 900 people in the Guyanese jungle.

Looks like O'Donnell's drinking her own Kool-Aid. What's it spiked with, Rosie?

From yesterday's Rosie Radio program:

O'DONNELL (42:39): If there was an organization, let's just say the Boys' Club [that] had the history of child abuse, child torture, and rape that the Catholic Church has, would you ever give money to the Boys' Club or the Girls' Club?

O'DONNELL (43:28): I'm saying that to support an organization where at the top of the infrastructure, are people willing to ignore the mass child abuse and torture and sexual molestation of its own constituents.

It's almost like when you read about cults, Jonestown, all these cults [that] allow sexual perversity and sexual behavior.
This anti-religious, sick and twisted loon, who now has her handlers attempting to transform her into the "new Oprah", just can't get away from her worst enemy: herself. Recently, her "wife" Kelly finally gained enough strength (and no doubt courage) to run away from O'Donnell's craziness, here's hoping the rest of America will say enough's enough too when her new talk show debuts.

Comedian Larry David Thinks Pissing On Jesus Is Funny

FOXNews.com:

Comedian Larry David is under attack from critics who say he pushed the mocking of religion and Christian belief in miracles over the edge in the latest episode of his HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which the cable network defended as "playful."

On the show's most recent installment, which aired Sunday, David urinates on a painting of Jesus Christ, causing a woman to believe the painting depicts Jesus crying.

Deal Hudson, author and publisher of InsideCatholic.com, said he doesn't find any humor in the episode.

"I don't think it's funny," Hudson told Foxnews.com. "Why is it that people are allowed to publicly show that level of disrespect for Christian symbols? If the same thing was done to a symbol of any other religions -- Jewish or Muslim -- there'd be a huge outcry. It's simply not a level playing field."

Hudson said an apology from the show's producers and writing team should be issued.

The irony for me is that I'm a huge "Curb Your Enthusiasm" fan, watch it every week. And despite Rosie O'Donnell being on the show several times (including once this season) as well as some signs from the writing (their trivial treatment of adultery in past shows for example), I never could really tell which way Larry David leaned politically, nor did I care. For me, "Curb" was always about making fun of socially uncomfortable moments and David (who used to co-write "Seinfeld) is the best at that. However, this episode clearly crossed the line, not because of who it attacked as much as the fact it just reeked of the lame, Hollywood-Left hatred for religion that we see all the time.

Rosie O'Donnell's 'Wife' Kelli Leaves Her

USAToday.com:
Rosie O'Donnell has confirmed to Lifeline Live that she and partner Kelli Carpenter, 42, are on the rocks.

In an interview at her Nyack, N.Y., compound Tuesday, USA TODAY's Ann Oldenburg asked if the two had split -- she has been hinting at it in her blog -- and O'Donnell didn't deny it, saying, "We're a family. We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues."

O'Donnell, 47, wouldn't go into detail about whether Carpenter had moved out of their Nyack home and into Manhattan, as the National Enquirer reported in August. (She was not around during the interview.)

"We're a family, we remain a family and we're working on the issues," O'Donnell reiterated, noting that there are four children whose well-being comes before anything. The couple married in San Francisco in 2004 and have three adopted children -- Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12 and Blake, 9, as well as Vivienne ("Vivi"), 6, whom Carpenter carried.

First of all, they're not "married". California didn't allow "gay marriage" back in 2004. Secondly, I don't care if it's a man, woman or a dog, the idea anything making love to Rosie O'Donnell is not only sickening, but frightening. Lastly, you just know Elisabeth Hasselbeck is just loving this news.

Rosie O'Donnell Still Hating On Elisabeth Hasselbeck

FOXNews.com:

It's back on.

Rosie O'Donnell can't seem to stop talking about her ugly departure from "The View," and the famous feud she had with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

An eyewitness tells FOX411 exclusively that the former "The View" co-host slammed her former show and called her former co-host a vulgarism that starts with a "t" and rhymes with "swat," just four days before Hasselbeck gave birth to her third child.

It all happened on August 5 during a stand-up routine as part of O'Donnell's "Girls' Night Out Tour" with singer Cyndi Lauper. First, Rosie cracked jokes about "The View," illiciting roars of laughter from the audience at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, N.Y.

"Rosie started out by asking the audience, 'What was that show I was on?'" an audience member tells FOX411. "Then, instead of saying, 'The View,' she called it 'The Screw You.' She continued by calling Elisabeth Hasselbeck, 'Elizabeth Half-a-brain.' Then she jumped to another topic."

But Rosie wasn't done. Not even close.

The audience member says she went back to her "The View" experience. "Rosie said when she first met Elisabeth, she thought she would love her, because they're both Christians," the eyewitness says. "Then she stopped and said, 'But then she turned on me.' Then Rosie called her a 't--t.' O'Donnell then moved on to a different subject, saying she really didn't want to start a new feud, or restart an old one."

A rep for Hasselbeck declined to comment.

Portrait of an ugly, forever angry, hasbeen, vindictive dyke who more than gives the so-called "progressives" on the Left a bad name.

By the way, congrats to Hasselbeck on the recent news of her 3rd kid.

Rosie O'Donnell: Deranged Lunatic

By now, you've heard the news about Rosie O'Donnell
forcing one of the kids she co-raises to pose with military fatigues and toy bullets around her neck.

A dumb stunt that even had some of Rosie's
own fans pissed off.

Of course, with the move came
yet another half-hearted apology.

Supposedly, this picture was supposed to represent young kids who have to serve in war. Yet, I'm sure if Vivienne had any idea what was going on, she might've expressed some misgivings about it. But when you're on the Left who cares what those unable to speak for themselves have to say. Especially when you can just brainwash, exploit and/or corrupt them into your way of thinking. Any wonder why so many youngsters today lean Left? Because their young, impressionable minds are perfectly suited to become tomorrow's loons.

Rosie O'Donnell Quits "The View" Early

Shocking news coming from ABC.

Proves one thing: Rosie didn't want it from Elisabeth anymore. What a wuss!

P.S. I've been doing the occasional blogging at Dana's excellent "Common Sense Political Thought" for the past few weeks. In the spirit of Keith Olberman's incendiary "Worst Person of the Week", I'm going to be starting a "Dumbest Liberal of the Week" column over there soon, so check out Dana's blog when you get a chance.

Person of the Week: Elisabeth Hasselbeck

Age:
29

Birthplace: Cranston, Rhode Island

Claim To Fame: the lone conservative co-host on ABC's "The View"

Why She's Person Of The Week: For finally showing some balls this week by putting fellow "co-host" and Left-wing extremist Rosie O'Donnell in her place this week on "The View". In a spat that made news all over the country, on Wednesday, Hasselbeck and O'Donnell got into in a 10-minute verbal joust after liberal co-host Joy Behar (aka mini-Rosie) read off a laundry list of what she viewed as President Bush's failings. After Behar and Hasselbeck went at it for 5 minutes, O'Donnell joined in the frey to double-team the conservative co-host as they usually attempt to do. Yet this time Hasselbeck was prepared.

Hasselbeck is often criticized in conservative circles for being "soft" and inarticulate with her views (to be fair I don't know how many female conservative pundits, not named Ann Coulter, could stand up, by themselves, on a daily basis, to a couple liberal co-hosts who play loose with facts and use bully tactics when debating issues), but that wasn't the case on Wednesday, as Hasselbeck was dead-on in attacking O'Donnell for being "obnoxious" as well as challenging her to defend her own insinuations concerning those in the media who've accused O'Donnell of calling our troops "terrorists".

O'Donnell, who has pretty much run "The View" (she controls the debates, makes all the announcements, commercials, segues and gives herself the most air time to voice of all of her insane, liberal lies) since Barbara Walters signed her on, seemed to be both shocked and angered that Hasselbeck was taking her on . . . and winning the heated debate. With only three weeks left before Rosie leaves "The View", Hasselbeck could just say little and count down the days down to when the "big, fat, lesbian" goes away, but instead she's speaking up and that's a very good thing for conservatives who get little say in the liberal mainstream press.

Rosie O'Donnell Will Leave "The View"

Yeah, I'm happy she's gone, but Sister Toldjah makes for a pretty interesting point:

If it does turn out to be true that she’s leaving the show, I’ll probably be one of the few who will miss her being on there. Not because I like her, but because in my opinion Rosie is the face of today’s left, what with her various conspiracy theories about 9-11, thinking BushCo. is out to steal everyone’s rights, believing that the US is the bigger terrorist than Al Qaeda … these are things so many on the left believe - and even though it’s something we see on the Nutroot blogs often, rarely do we get such a candid everyday view of how far left Democrats have gone that we get with Rosie O. Sure, we can see Harry Reid and others on CSPAN, but - sadly - people don’t pay as much attention to politicians as they do celebrities, and the more celebrity moonbats like Rosie O. speak out, the more people can judge for themselves how wacked out the left has become.

Unhinged Liberal of the Week: Rosie O'Donnell

On an episode of "The View" this week the ignorant pig once again showed her true colors by displaying sympathy for Khalid Sheik Mohammed, an admitted murderer and the alleged mastermind behind the death of over 3,000 people on September, 11, 2001.

NewsBusters.org:
On the March 15 edition of "The View," Rosie O’Donnell brought up the news of Khalid Sheik Mohammed’s many confessions. Rosie, who believes radical Christianity is just as dangerous as radical Islam, was more outraged on unproven allegations of torture than the horrific atrocities Mohammed confessed to. On her latest rant she also demonstrated her lack of knowledge on the extensive al Qaeda network.

O’DONNELL: I think the man has been in custody of the American government, in secret CIA torture prisons in Guantanamo Bay, where torture is accepted and allowed, and he finally is the guy who admits to doing everything. They finally found the guy. It's not that guy bin Laden. It's this guy they've had since ‘93. And look, this is the picture they released of him. Doesn’t, he look healthy?

Token non-liberal Elisabeth Hasselbeck was unusually assertive through the course of the discussion, and even exposed how shallow Rosie’s opinions are. Just as Rosie did not answer whether or not she wanted the United States to win in Iraq, she did not answer what she would do with the detained terrorists.

HASSELBECK: What do think should happen? What do you think should happen?

O’DONNELL: We should uphold the standards of the Geneva Convention and lead the free world in democracy.

[Applause]

HASSELBECK: I believe that. But what, specifically, if there was someone, say, who had been plotting an attack, how do you think they should be interrogated? What methods do you think would be fair?

O’DONNELL: I don't think the United States should ever, ever, ever torture other people.

Rosie, who claimed terrorists are mothers and fathers, was concerned about robbing the "humanity" of terrorists.

O’DONNELL: Because you don't think terrorists, you don’t think terrorists- you think that robs them of their humanity. That name "terrorist" makes them not human any more? They don’t-

This isn't about O'Donnell so much as it's about Barbara Walters who brought O'Donnell to her show in a desperate bid for ratings. And it worked as O'Donnell has upped "The View" ratings, but at the expense of Walters integrity which becomes more null and void each day O'Donnell remains on the show. Then too, ABC continues to show that it has no problem approving this blatant exercise in liberal bias in that they wouldn't dare let a real conservative on "The View" to challenge Rosie's asinine rants because then her sheer stupidity would be exposed for all the world to see. Which, of course, would leave ABC and Walters with nothing but egg on their face.
