Ann Coulter and Marc Lamont Hill Go Head-to-Head Over Who Can Say ‘N-Word,’ Results Might Surprise You

Tuesday evening on CNN’s The 11th Hour, a truly fascinating discussion occurred: Ann Coulter and Marc Lamont Hill went head-to-head over who can say certain “forbidden words,” including the notorious “n-word.” 

It’s an interesting segment to watch for three main reasons: 1) Coulter isn’t in “home territory” since she’s on CNN; 2) She and Hill are very cordial with one another, to a point where this feels less like a typical cable news “battle” and more like a panel discussion at a respected institution; and 3) Who agreed with whom, and on which particular words should never be said by certain people, will very likely surprise you. 

Just as a teaser, Coulter at one point asserted that “No other word is like the ‘n-word,’” after lamenting how P.C. police often try to lump words like “retard” and “illegal alien” in with the “n-word.” (Coulter has gotten into hot water for using the first two quite frequently.) 

“Ann Coulter for the win!” Hill shouted. “Nobody saw that coming!” Host Don Lemon laughed as he acknowledged that this may very well be the first time he agrees with Coulter. 

The conversation then veered into other “forbidden words” and their usage. That’s where we saw a bit more tension.

Yeah, It Was Pretty Stupid For Conservatives To Go After Rapper Common

Sometimes, conservatives really do show a habit of stepping in their own way. I mean, after Barry finally releases his full birth certificate for the world to see and the dumb Birther nonsense died down, why would conservatives want to go anywhere near race? Again, there's so much to criticize Barry about regarding his utter fail of a presidency without going there (or even giving people a chance to think you're going there). I mean, Common as the new Rev. Jeremiah Wright? Really?!? C'mon man, do your research.

As a longtime fan of hip-hop, I can safely attest to the fact that Common is not Reverend Wright in any, way, shape or form. So he's "supported" a couple of alleged cop killers in his rhymes--so what? A lot of rappers have and a quick understanding of hip-hop, urban culture and the polemics within the circle would give one a clear reason why. Assata Shakur and Mumia Abu-Jamal have long been propped up by the black liberation movement as politic activists--that's common knowledge, so therefore many young urban youth lean on them, read their works, challenge what they feel are unjust themes, etc. I can imagine that Common, a rapper who really didn't become "political" until midway through his career, switched up his lyrics as an attestment to not only his own creativity, but record sales and because of the what he was learning from the different people he surrounded himself with--that's what artists often do. And then suddenly overnight Common went from a "fun", lyrically adept rapper to a "conscious rapper"--a title, judging from his interviews, he's never been too comfortable with.

That said, even with his newfound "knowledge" it's not like Common is or was seeking to start some movement, much less open the doors to a revolution or doing speeches around the country telling people how much he hated America and how Blacks people need to rise up and overthrow the government. An angry, black activist Common is not. And anyone who did their research should've known that. Then too, if you're going to go after a non-threat like Common, you better do your research first and find out who other Presidents have invited to the White House in the past. I mean, Eazy-E? Wow.

My guess is that Michelle Obama invited Common to the WH for no other reason than they're both Chicago so she was long familiar with his music. There, that's all. Really now, inviting Common to the WH is not going to be the difference in any election. None. And conservatives making such a huge deal about Common's invite was just straight-up dumb.

Damn, even the Hip-Hop community is getting tired of Barry.

President Bush Commutes Rapper John Forte's Sentence

Despite idiot liberal pols attempts to squash his constitutional right, President Bush pardoned 14 individuals and commuted two sentences yesterday, including rapper John Forte:

President Bush granted 14 pardons and commuted two prison sentences on Monday, but the benefactors included none of the big names who had become the topic of speculation as Mr. Bush leaves office.

Mr. Bush has been relatively sparing in his use of pardons compared with past presidents, and the latest round of actions continued that pattern.

The closest any of the defendants came to celebrity was John E. Forté, a hip-hop artist and backup singer to Carly Simon who was convicted of aiding and abetting in the distribution of cocaine. (Ms. Simon put up the bail of $250,000 for Mr. Forté when he was arrested in 2001 at Newark International Airport.) Mr. Forté was sentenced to 14 years in prison, but Mr. Bush commuted the remainder of his sentence.

Amid a flurry of recent clemency requests that reached historic levels, a number of high-profile defendants have looked to Mr. Bush for help. They included Michael Milken, the former junk bond king convicted of securities fraud; Marion Jones, the former Olympic sprinter convicted for lying about her use of performance-enhancing drugs; Randy Cunningham, the former California congressman sent to prison in a bribery scheme; and John Walker Lindh, an American who pleaded guilty to serving with the Taliban.

Considering the hip-hop community's noted hatred for the President, I'd call this move by Bush a strong sign of class.

Obama Supporter Ludacris Says John McCain Is Better Off Paralyzed

The Obama campaign is trying to back away from the ignorant lyrics contained on a new track by Ludacris called "Politics: Obama is Here", in which the rapper calls Hillary Clinton a "bitch" and says John McCain is "better off paralyzed in a wheelchair". Ludacris also takes swipes at President Bush and Jesse Jackson.

Said Obama spokesman Bill Burton: "As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to. This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics."

The song suggests the coming of Barack will "paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified..." Well, we've already gotten an idea of the kind of folks in the radical, Black Left Obama likes to hang out with. Indeed, the idea of a Barack presidency just gets scarier and scarier by the minute.

Foxy Brown Finally Lands In Jail

How To Stay Out Of Jail 101: just get yourself an idiot liberal judge. Especially if you're a washed-up female rapper with serious anger management issues because no matter what you do, whether its beating people up, pulling their hair out, spitting at them or throwing cellphones at them, said judge will understand that it's all just a coincidence and let you go.

NEW YORK — Foxy Brown was hauled off to jail Wednesday after a judge revoked her probation.

The 27-year-old rapper was accused of violating the terms of her release after she was arrested earlier this month on charges she smacked her neighbor with her cell phone. Authorities said Brown also skipped her anger management classes and traveled out of the city without permission.

"She has an air of entitlement about her," city Department of Probation lawyer Matilde Leo said at a hearing in Manhattan Criminal Court. "Probation is a privilege, not a right. ... She has finally abused that privilege to the point of no return."

Judge Melissa Jackson ordered Brown jailed until her next hearing on Sept. 7.

Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was on probation for attacking two manicurists at a nail salon in 2004. She was arrested Aug. 14 on charges of assaulting Arlene Raymond, 25, on July 30 after the pair got into a fight over Brown blasting her car stereo near her home in Brooklyn.
