MSNBC’s Resident Black Obamabot Michael Eric Dyson Disses Christianity: Men Loving Jesus More Than Women ‘Sounds Interestingly Homoerotic’

Have you ever wondered what MSNBC president Phil Griffin uses as qualifications to hire on-air personalities for his so-called "news network?"

Consider the case of perpetually race-baiting contributor Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson who on Monday’s Ed Show actually said that Christian men claiming to love Jesus more than they love women “sounds interestingly homoerotic”


I’d say the idiocy on display here was astonishing, but as readers know, it’s quite commonplace on MSNBC with all the idiotic contributors and hosts that have been hired in recent years.
As for this Georgetown professor/MSNBC "political analyst," his understanding of Christianity is abysmal.
"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength." - Mark 12:30.

Evangelist Greg Laurie observed last month:

This statement reveals that God is not simply looking for some emotional, gooey kind of love. He is looking for a complete, true love.

You see, some people only love the Lord with all of their soul or with all of their emotion, but they don't love Him with all of their minds. Other people love God with all of their minds, but they neglect the emotional side of loving the Lord.

Jesus is saying, "I want a love that possesses an emotional, intellectual, and physical backbone." Jesus desires a love that draws from every fiber of your being-inside and out. Any other kind of love is no love at all.

This is in keeping with what truly religious Christians have told me: you are supposed to love Jesus more than anyone else - including your spouse and your children.

However, what Dyson was also missing is that this love isn't sexual.

Maybe he wasn't aware that humans can love without sexual intimacy. We love our parents, siblings, and children without having sex with them or desiring to do so.

That a Georgetown professor and MSNBC "political analyst" doesn't understand that should be very concerning to the heads of this so-called "news network."

That it's apparently not says a lot about this farce.

Conservative Writer Matt Lewis Takes on Race-Obsessed MSNBC Contributor Michael Eric Dyson

Right Professor Dyson. And everyone can recall those lovely days when Democrats not only worked with white, Republican President George W. Bush, but heaped him with nothing but praise and repeated accolades:

Daily Caller and The Week columnist Matt Lewis appeared on MSNBC with Martin Bashir on Wednesday to discuss the Affordable Care Act’s roll-out and the lack of Republican alternative proposals to replace that law. Within minutes, the debate exploded as Lewis was accused of appealing to “white privilege” by Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson.


Bashir began by playing a clip of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) being grilled over a lack of an alternative GOP plan to replace the ACA. Lewis defended Cruz, saying that he was effectively representing his base and playing a smart political game by not taking the media’s focus off of the presently failing ACA roll-out. 

Lewis conceded, though, that Republicans need to coalesce around a single ACA alternative in the coming days. “It’s not enough to say ‘Obamacare’s bad,’” he insisted. “You have to have a solution.”

Bashir insisted that it is not just health care reform, but that the GOP routinely has no alternative to Democratic proposals on a host of issues.

Dyson insisted that this reflexive opposition from Republicans to President Barack Obama’s initiatives was, as Oprah Winfrey recently suggested, due to his skin color.

“It took ten minutes – ten minutes to get to the race issue,” Lewis interjected. The pair exploded over Lewis’ suggestion that race was an inappropriate topic of debate on this issue. 

“Don’t deploy the very principles of white privilege to silence a black man on the panel because you don’t want to talk about race,” Dyson shot back. 

Chaos ensued. “You can’t talk about policy,” Lewis declared. “The only thing you have to talk about is race.”

Lewis blew up at Bashir when he was asked to let Dyson finish his tonight. “Please allow him to speak,” Bashir insisted. 

“The vast majority of Republicans are mindless and incapable of articulating a solid, serious, intellectual conception, or a political fix or remedy to the problem we have here,” Dyson insisted.

“This is a joke,” Lewis concluded.

Cornel West: Barack Obama A ‘Republican In Blackface,’ Black MSNBC Hosts Are ‘Selling Their Souls’

A renowned black liberal daring to publicly criticize The One, give Cornel West credit for having some balls:

During an interview last week with Democracy Now, author and activist Cornel West offered harsh criticism of President Barack Obama, calling him a “Rockefeller Republican in blackface” and not someone who is actually looking out for the best interests of the impoverished. The prominent social critic also lashed out at black MSNBC personalities, accusing them of “selling their souls” in support of a president who has been anything but progressive.

“I think that it’s morally obscene and spiritually profane to spend $6 billion on an election, $2 billion on a presidential election, and not have any serious discussion,” West lamented to host Amy Goodman. “Poverty, trade unions being pushed against the wall dealing with stagnating and declining wages when profits are still up and the 1 percent are doing very well, no talk about drones dropping bombs on innocent people,” he continued.

He explained that the election season saw a “truncated” version of political discourse with climate change being overlooked.

West then took a stab at the president: “It’s very sad. I mean, I’m glad there was not a right-wing takeover, but we end up with a Republican, a Rockefeller Republican in blackface, with Barack Obama, so that our struggle with regard to poverty intensifies,” he said.

“That’s a pretty rough assessment of President Obama,” Goodman replied.

“Oh, that’s what we have. Richard Nixon is to the left of him on health care. Richard Nixon’s to the left of him on guaranteed income,” West followed up.

Later on in the interview, West was asked to comment on black MSNBC hosts like Michael Eric Dyson, Melissa Harris-Perry, and Rev. Al Sharpton who regularly praise President Obama. He offered up a similarly harsh critique:

I love Brother Mike Dyson … but we’re living in a society where everybody is up for sale. Everything is up for sale. And he and Brother Sharpton and Sister Melissa and others, they have sold their souls for a mess of Obama pottage. And we invite them back to the black prophetic tradition after Obama leaves. But at the moment, they want insider access, and they want to tell those kind of lies. They want to turn their back to poor and working people.

He concluded by calling those MSNBC’ers “apologists” for the Obama administration despite having a rigorous background in progressive critical thought.

Democrat Strategists Agree With Bill O’Reilly: ‘Insane’ To Connect Race To Obama’s Debate Performance

Bill O'Reilly opened his show Friday with by touting new polls showing Mitt Romney catching up to President Obama in polls in crucial swing states like Florida, and said the Democrats’ strategy coming out of the debate has been to “call Romney a liar” in order to take the spotlight off of Obama’s poor performance. O’Reilly found it hard to believe that the rhetoric will help the president’s election chances.

He argued that it is “foolish and destructive” for the Obama campaign to attack Romney over lying when the president has also been guilty of making “false and misleading statements.”

O’Reilly then brought up what he thought was one of the most ridiculous takes on Obama’s debate performance, from MSNBC contributor Michael Eric Dyson, whom O’Reilly referred to as a “race hustler.” Dyson argued that Obama could not afford to be seen as an “angry black man” stereotype. O’Reilly said that Dyson cannot “analyze anything… without injecting race.”

O’Reilly then brought in Democratic strategists Mary Anne Marsh and Kirsten Powers to react to the Democratic machine working overtime to attack Romney. Powers was surprised to find herself in agreement with Romney, saying that the campaign should not be outright calling the other candidate a liar. O’Reilly compared the Democrats to sore losers calling Romney names, like children.

O’Reilly asked Marsh and Powers about Dyson’s “kooky fringe” idea that race had to do with how Obama did during the debate. Marsh agreed that Obama should have been more aggressive, but when O’Reilly pushed her to answer the race issue, she agreed with him that Dyson’s take was not true. Powers said it was “insane.”

Michael Eric Dyson Apologizes for Using White, Liberal Tactic of Calling Anyone Who Disagrees With The Left 'Bigots'

After charlatan, race hustler, black liberal sycophant and faux-minister Michael Eric Dyson referred to conservative commentator Sophia Nelson and other black opponents of gay marriage as "sexual rednecks" and "religious bigots" the other day on far-Left network MSNBC, conservatives in general were rightfully outraged. But why should they be when most know that Dyson has served as a pawn for the immoral, white, leftist agenda for years now. Either way, the rambling fool that is Dyson still felt a need to apologize to Ms. Nelson before they went on one of the Ed Schultz show to "debate" gay marriage and pretty much defending his sad, disgusting remarks:

One week after President Obama‘s official endorsement of same-sex marriage, MSNBC played host to a debate over how the decision divides the black community into “civil rights” versus “biblical truth” camps. Last week, Georgetown professor and MSNBC contributor Michael Eric Dyson called out what he saw as “sexual rednecks” within the black church who oppose same-sex marriage, including Sophia Nelson, a writer for TheGrio. The Ed Show brought the two of them on to debate.

Dyson started out by apologizing for calling Nelson and others like CNN’s Roland Martin “sexual rednecks” for their opposition to same-sex marriage. “In a fit of passion I called out my friends, in the spirit of love, to say that hey, we can do better than this, and I shouldn’t have called their names if they weren’t here to defend themselves,” he said, and then went on to clarify his argument and admit that he “conflated two issues: the marriage equality which is very serious and a significant issue on the one hand, and the black homophobia as I perceived it within black communities. Homophobia is not something that’s endemic to black people – it’s across the globe so to speak. But in this case, black homophobia fuels, I think, the beliefs about black gay and lesbian people and whether or not they can get married.”

Nelson accepted Dyson’s apology for calling her a “sexual redneck,” but went on to say that even though she is opposed to same-sex marriage for non-”insidious” biblical reasons, “I support hate crimes legislation for people that would abuse or hurt gays and lesbians, I support civil unions, I support adoption, I support them being able to visit their loved one in the hospital. So there are people like me of faith who don’t agree with same-sex marriage for the faith reason, the biblical reason, the definition of a man and a woman being married, but I also support a lot about the agenda.”

Dyson, an ordained minister of more than 30 years, said that a literal interpretation of the Bible over same-sex marriage is the problem, since it would mean killing gays and lesbians. “I don’t think Sophia Nelson is promoting the biblical interpretation that gays and lesbian people should be killed, and if she is, she hasn’t put that forth. And if she doesn’t, then she doesn’t take the Bible literally.”

The two then got feisty when Nelson explained that she and other black churchgoers were offended to be called bigots for their faith-based views on gay marriage, with Dyson eventually explained that he used the terms “sexual rednecks” and “sexual bigots” because of a quote from Howard Thurman, who said “a bigot is a person who makes an idol of his commitment.”

“You’re throwing [the gay community] a bone by saying, ‘Look, I believe in civil unions’ and the like, but what you’re not addressing is the fact that your faith fuels the belief that to be gay is to be automatically a sinner, to be gay is to be outside of the covenant of God. And I’m arguing that that automatically disqualifies gay and lesbian, transgender and bisexual people as your equals in the faith.”

“You cannot say that our faith is causing us to be homophobic or bigoted,” Nelson responded, quoting several scriptures that she says ground her views on marriage. “Your issue’s with God, not with me.”

Michael Eric Dyson: If A White Republican Said What Harry Reid Did It Would Be Huge News

On Monday, a far-left leaning black college professor stated what few in the liberal media dare: if a white Republican said what Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) did about presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008, it would be huge news.

Speaking on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson elaborated, "They would be making hay out of it, calling for his resignation. I think we're hypocrites and we're morally weak here."

Later on in the morning, Dyson took on Obama's handling of the issue saying, "This president runs from race like a black man runs from a cop"

Personally, I don't think Rush Limbaugh's a racist, he just stays some dumb stuff sometimes that makes it easy for liberals to call him one. As for this contest, I'll call it a draw as both were given fair time to get their darts in and overall neither at any point one-upped the other (btw, Bill Maher's Left-leaning crowd do not make fair judges).

Pat Buchanan takes on liberal blowhard and author Michael Eric Dyson on MSNBC the other day. Frankly, I'm not really a fan of either one, but it was new AG Eric Holder recent "nation of cowards" on race comments (which I kind of agree with) that lit the fire to this debate. Of course, Eric Holder is the same guy who was partly responsible for getting one-time fugitive Marc Rich pardoned by Bill Clinton, but as we all know by now when it comes to properly vetting cabinet picks, Barack Obama could care less.
