Rush Limbaugh Destroys Newt Gingrich For Promoting ‘Left-Wing Social Engineering’

Last week, Rush Limbaugh was one of the many predicting Newt Gingrich’s shots at Mitt Romney, the man he Gingrich believes ruined his front runner position, would only increase in intensity following Iowa. At the time, Gingrich seemed fine with the idea, pointing out that it would only end up helping Rick Santorum. However, the radio host clearly has not enjoyed the tenor of Gingrich’s attacks since then as he spent a large amount of today’s show absolutely lambasting the candidate and comparing him to such GOP-unfriendly entities as Occupy Wall Street, The New York Times, and Barack Obama.


Limbaugh went so far that some commentators are describing this as the “nuclear bomb” been dropped on Gingrich.


Recently, Gingrich has been criticizing Romney’s Bain Capital past, making comments that some have seen as a knock on the free market. Rush Limbaugh certainly agreed.


“I don’t know why the Occupy Wall Street people are protesting Newt. They’re singing from the same hymnal on this. This is right out of the New York Times. Newt is parroting what the New York Times is writing about Romney.

Folks, it is clear here what is going on. This is not a campaign for the presidency. That’s not what this is anymore. This is payback time. It drove him nuts, that series of ads that Romney’s Super PAC ran in Iowa, and this is the result of it. That’s why we are where we are. I’m not trying to make excuses. I’m just explaining. I’m not defending anybody. I just think this is very unfortunate. This is not the kind of stuff that you want said by Republicans. Even the Establishment Republicans don’t go after Conservatives this way.”


Ouch.


Limbaugh isn’t the only one who’s seeing a leftist streak in Gingrich’s attacks. This is very similar to a piece Jon Stewart did last night. While Stewart was pointing out this seeming hypocrisy amongst the entire GOP field in their attacks on Romney, he did focus on Gingrich. More importantly, how often are we able to say Rush Limbaugh and Jon Stewart agree on something?

You Have To Be An Idiot To Participate In "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day"

An American cartoonist whose work inspired the controversial "Everybody Draw Mohammed Page" on Facebook has condemned the effort and issued an apology to Muslims.

Molly Norris, of Seattle, drew a cartoon in April to protest the decision by the US television channel Comedy Central to cancel an episode of the popular show "South Park" over its depiction of the Prophet Mohammed in a bear suit.

In her cartoon, Norris satirically proposed May 20 as an "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day."

An "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day" page quickly turned up on Facebook but Norris, writing on her website at mollynorris.com, said she had nothing to do with it.

"I did NOT 'declare' May 20 to be "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day," she said, adding that her idea was satire but "was taken seriously, hijacked and made viral."

"I never started a Facebook page; I never set up any place for people to send drawings to and I never received any drawings," she said.

"The vitriol this 'day' has brought out, of people who only want to draw obscene images, is offensive to Muslims who did nothing to endanger our right to expression in the first place," she said.

"I apologize to people of Muslim faith and ask that this 'day' be called off," she said.

The "Draw Mohammed" page has led to Facebook being blocked in Pakistan and sparked angry protests and condemnation from the foreign ministry, which denounced the "publication of blasphemous caricatures of our holy prophet."

The Facebook page on Thursday had drawn over 98,700 fans -- and a slew of crude photo-shopped pictures and caricatures.

Leave me out of this one because it's essentially a point of why go there? Don't conservatives have bigger battles to win? Don't liberals care about their lives? Or do members of the far-Right have egos so big that they need to mess with "religious" zealots in this way just to prove that they're not "cowards"? I guess so. Yet, we've seen them attack and kill innocent men, women and children on an almost daily basis--using violence to make political/religious points continue to mean nothing to them. A few weeks ago they threatened the lives of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for poking fun at Mohammed in an episode. And of course there's always 9/11. I just think it's a waste of time to mess with people who not only lack any type of reasoning, but who will snuff your life at a whim in order to get their point across. I mean, they've convinced themselves of being martyrs for a reason. Think of it as trying to talk about world peace with the local drunk--what's the point? Even the creator of this "Draw Muhammad Day" has backed out citing safety. 

Granted, a free society has the power to say whatever it wants, even if it's offensive, but these people don't play by our rules. Instead, they make up their own and millions of lives have been snuffed out because of it. Then too, there's simple common sense: unless you got an army behind you ready to go to war for you, you don't fuck with terrorists.

James O'Keefe, ACORN Fraud Buster, Arrested For Wiretapping

James O'Keefe, the filmmaker best known for his documentary exposing problems at the left wing activist group ACORN is now explaining his latest scheme to federal authorities.

According to a federal affidavit, O'Keefe admitted to working with three other men: Joseph Basel, Robert Flanagan and Stan Dai to pose as telephone repairmen and gain access to Senator Mary Landrieu's (D-LA)office in New Orleans.

Court documents show that while O'Keefe sat in the Senator's waiting room, Flanagan and Basel entered the federal building in what appeared to be telephone repairmen uniforms, "blue denim pants, a blue work shirt, a light fluorescent green vest, a tool belt, and carrying white, construction-style hard hat." They then allegedly asked to fiddle with the phones in Landrieu's office while O'Keefe filmed them with his cell phone.

After Basel allegedly took the handset off the reception phone and manipulated it, Basel and Flanagan asked to see the main telephone system according to court documents. When asked for identification, the two said they were employees of a telephone company and had left their credentials in their truck.

A receptionist at Landrieu's office was asked how they were caught and told CBS, "Let's just say the outfits were less than convincing."

Well, this was dumb. But then liberals could use some good news so I'm sure O'Keefe's arrest will get plenty of attention.

The far-Right, mostly Rush Limbaugh, have been trying to make hay out of this incident--claiming that in "Obama's America" it's another example of reverse racism against whites. But as this kid who was on the bus notes, it's clear to see that there are plenty of other white kids on the bus who aren't being bothered at all. This incident, wrong as it might've been, was nothing more than a childish turf war. Happens all the time. But once again we see the Far-Right acting just as idiotic and reactionary as their peers on the Far-Left. The same folks who act like racism no longer exists, attempt to exploit reverse racism any time they smell it. But in this case they're just flat-out wrong and look stupid in the process.

Media's Passive Racism Regarding The Response To Michael Jackson's Death

I went to one of my favorite sites, Newsbusters, today and noticed this report filed by columnist Tom Blumer:

In a passionate Wall Street Journal op-ed this morning ("Silence Has Consequences for Iran"), former Spanish Prime Minister José Aznar who, in case anyone cares, serves on the board of WSJ parent News Corp., says that "It would be a shame .... if our passivity gave carte blanche to a tyrannical regime to finish off the dissidents and persist with its revolutionary plans."

Shaking off passivity requires visibility. America's media establishment almost across the board is providing very little. The Associated Press and the New York Times reports exist, but their distribution is dwarfed by the death of a pop star and a governor's infidelity.

This was filed under the headline "Iran Fading From Media Attention". Funny that. Of course, from what I've seen Iran is still doing well in garnering news coverage (Blumer even admits so in his article)--everyone from the NYTimes to CNN to FOXNews has Iran in their main headlines. So could it be that some people don't get that Michael Jackson wasn't just a "pop star", but a legendary and controversial worldwide cultural icon who crossed racial borders? Or maybe Blumer forgets about the media's obsessive coverage regarding with the likes of Princess Diana--wherein news regarding her death went on for weeks and continues to this day? Or maybe Blumer just doesn't understand how the death of a black man could warrant such massive coverage to the point that it almost killed the internet? Who knows, other than Blumer.

Supreme Court Was Right About Louisiana vs. Kennedy

It's funny to see conservatives still whining about SCOTUS' recent decision in The State of Louisiana vs. Patrick Kennedy, with the justices 5-4 vote letting Kennedy live after it was decided, correctly, that capital punishment should only be considered in cases where someone is killed. I've cited on this blog numerous reasons why the death penalty is wrong: it's immoral, racist, the government cannot be entrusted with the most important decision that can impact a person's life, capital punishment is not a deterrent to crime and it's prime motive is nothing but revenge. Despite these facts, the righteous "kill and be killed!" crowd are now citing slip-ups in Louisiana vs. Kennedy and crying for a do-over. Yet, a fair and balanced response the latest whine in The Washington Post puts them in their place:

For the Supreme Court to grant a rehearing in this case would reward irresponsible parties for what is akin to malpractice. The lawyers for the state of Louisiana could have readily noted the Uniform Code of Military Justice's law regarding rape and capital punishment. They didn't. Justice Department lawyers easily could have caught it, too. They didn't. And the Supreme Court's cadre of law clerks, especially those who work for Justices Anthony M. Kennedy and Samuel A. Alito Jr., could have done some independent research and caught it. But they didn't.

Against this backdrop of professional carelessness, your editorial called for a rehearing. But this would only compound the problem. What precedent will the court set if it allows a second chance every time someone does shoddy work?

As for justice being served: Convicted child rapist Patrick Kennedy, whose case the high court decided, will live, albeit in prison. The union will survive. And the law in this area could be reconsidered in another case, such as one involving a soldier charged with child rape. Meanwhile, any request for a rehearing should be denied. Case closed.

It's the idea that a death penalty supporter can live with themselves when a state sanctioned murder kills an innocent person that scares me the most.

Armstrong Williams Is An Idiot

How do you call yourself a conservative and vote for Barack Obama? Easy, if you're narcissistic phony like Armstrong Williams:

WASHINGTON -- Black conservative talk show host Armstrong Williams has never voted for a Democrat for president. That could change this year with Barack Obama as the Democratic Party's nominee.

"I don't necessarily like his policies; I don't like much that he advocates, but for the first time in my life, history thrusts me to really seriously think about it," Williams said. "I can honestly say I have no idea who I'm going to pull that lever for in November. And to me, that's incredible."

Just as Obama has touched black Democratic voters, he has engendered conflicting emotions among black Republicans. They revel over the possibility of a black president but wrestle with the thought that Obama doesn't sit beside them ideologically.

"Among black conservatives," Williams said, "they tell me privately, it would be very hard to vote against him in November."

This is just dumb, yet Williams was never really known for being too bright. And if Armstrong wants anyone to believe that his little guessing game isn't just a cop-out because he's gonna ignore all his principles and vote for Barack because he's black, somebody needs to slap him.

FOX News, Michelle Malkin Go "Baby Mama" On Michelle Obama

I've said it before, by making herself a surrogate to her husband's campaign and with the possibility that she may be First Lady one day, Michelle Obama has made herself fair game for constructive crititism on the campaign trail. But referring to her as a "baby mama", a popular, but condescending, urban term for (usually) young women who have kids out of wedlock, is just plain dumb and ignorant:

An alert reader wrote in just a little while ago to let us know about something he'd spotted on Fox News Wednesday afternoon. During a segment discussing conservative attacks against Michelle Obama, the wife of presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama, the network described the former as "Obama's baby mama."

I checked, and sure enough, as you can see below, our e-mailer was right. In fact, that description was displayed on screen several times during the segment, which featured anchor Megyn Kelly and conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, an FNC contributor.

A clip of the segment in its entirety is below. You may notice that at one point, Malkin says, "By the way, it's not just Republicans who are criticizing some of her comments, but also statements have been made in the left-leaning blog Salon about her comments." I've searched the site, and I can't find anything like what Malkin is talking about. I've e-mailed Malkin asking for clarification -- if and when she responds, I'll update this post.

Mind you this is the same Michelle Malkin, a wife and mother, who works from home while taking care of her kids along with her husband. The same political pundit who gets upset with radical feminism's hostile views towards housewives and mothers. Michelle Obama is a wife, mother and a Harvard Law School graduate--you don't have to like her, but give her the proper respect. FOX News and Malkin have really opened up a can of worms with this one and they deserve all the hits they're going to get for their sheer and utter stupidity.

White Republicans and conservatives should be all too aware by now of the racist stigma attached to their thought process by liberals--some of it warranted, most of it nothing but leftwing exploitation of race in order to keep blacks in a state of victimhood. So if you're a popular conservative talk-show host, why would you be stupid enough to feed the wolves meat by making an asinine comment stereotyping black people as ghetto? Probably because you don't know that many black people, but that doesn't excuse blatant ignorance:

So Bill O'Reilly went to lunch with Al Sharpton at Sylvia's Restaurant in Harlem and was surprised to find that the famed soul food eatery was just like any other restaurant in the city, this despite the fact that it's run and patronized by black folks, Media Matters reported on its web site today.

I "couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship. It was the same," O'Reilly said on September 19 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program.

Later during his conversation with NPR correspondent and Fox News contributor Juan Williams, O'Reilly noted "There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.' You know, I mean, everybody was—it was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn't any kind of craziness at all."

Rudy Cheated On Their Mom

When you consider that Rudolph Giuliani made a mockery of his marriage to Donna Hanover (the mother of his kids) by parading his then-mistress (now wife), Judith Nathan, around town while he was still mayor of New York City, is it any wonder why he's currently estranged from his kids?

NEW YORK (CBS)- It doesn't look like Rudy Giuliani's two children will have a role in his presidential campaign. According to press reports, the GOP frontrunner's third marriage has alienated his son,
Andrew, 21, and daughter, Caroline, 18, from their father.

Giuliani's 21-year-old son, Andrew, told the New York Times that he would be too busy working on his golf game to participate in his father's presidential campaign.

"There's obviously a little problem that exists between me and his wife," the younger Giuliani told the newspaper. "And we're trying to figure that out. But as of right now it's not working as well as we would like."

Giuliani's marriage to his third wife, Judith Nathan, followed his divorce from Donna Hanover, the mother of Andrew and Caroline.

In 2000, Giuliani announced during a live TV interview that he planned to divorce Hanover. She responded by publicly accusing Giuliani of adultery.
