MSNBC Host Andrea Mitchell Cuts Away from Some Silly NSA Thing to Breaking Justin Bieber News

For those of you who don’t like how the media prioritizes the superficial over the substantive, here is your new go-to video for everything you hate about cable news. On MSNBC Thursday, Andrea Mitchell was speaking with former Congresswoman Jane Harman about reviews and proposed restrictions on the NSA debate, but before they could really get down to the meat of the subject, Mitchell had to cut away for some breaking news.

Specifically, news having to do with America’s favorite… whatever he is… Justin Bieber. Yes, just as Harman was about to get into the details of what she believes proper NSA reform should be, Mitchell cut away because heaven forbid policy should get in the way of a good celebrity scandal.

Ever since Bieber got arrested early yesterday, the media has been itching to cover every last detail, though there have been some networks proudly boasting to be above the pettiness.

Aging Pop Star Madonna Drops The N-Bomb On Instagram, Tells Critics To "Get Off Of My Dick"

Buh, buh, but she's a mega-rich, white, celebrity who is fiercely liberal and she adopted an African kid or two...so she can't possibly be "RACIST!!!" Thus, there will absolutely be no criticism from anyone at MSNBC, Al Sharpton or any of those white, liberal journalists who would proudly call out a conservative celebrity if they did the same thing:

Madonna is in hot water after dropping the N-bomb in an Instagram caption yesterday (Jan. 17).

The singer posted a photo of her 13-year-old son Rocco boxing and captioned it: "No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disni--a," reports TMZ. Her over one million followers soon took to comment on her use of the offensive term, which prompted Madge to take down the troublesome photo.

But leave it to Madonna to stand up to her critics: Not long after, she posted the same photo with a different, more combative caption: "Ok let me start this again. #get off of my dick haters!"

This isn't the first time Madonna has received flack for posting a photo of her teenage son. Earlier this month, the 55-year-old posted a photo of underage Rocco surrounded by liquor bottles. After her many critics voiced their disdain, Madonna fought back on Instagram, according to Us Weekly, writing: "No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgement!"

UPDATE: Madonna has apologized for her use of the N-word, telling E! News in a statement: "I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur ... I am not a racist."

She added: "There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention ... It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me."

Rev. Franklin Graham Blasts Churches for Weak Support of Phil Robertson in ‘Religious War Against Christians’

The Rev. Franklin Graham took to his website on December 30 to severely scold the Christian community for failing to show sufficient support for Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson and for not sticking up for the values expressed in comments which resulted in his brief suspension. Graham said that there is a “religious war” being waged against Christians, and churches have a duty to take a stand against it.


“As the Robertson controversy winds down—at least for now—I have been amazed at how many churches have apparently “ducked” out on the issue (sin). Some were even quick to condemn Phil Robertson,” Graham wrote.

“If we Christians banded together and took a stand, perhaps we wouldn’t be losing so much ground in what the media is calling the ‘cultural war,’” Graham continued. “However, it is not a cultural war—it is a religious war against Christians and the biblical truths we stand for. Some churches have fallen into the trap of being politically correct, under the disguise of tolerance.”

Graham said that the statements Robertson have been cast in the press as “intolerant” but they were, in his opinion, only “not tolerant of sin.” He added that the Bible’s message of penitence and repentance was a positive message and Robertson’s comments reflected this sentiment.

Obama’s tweet included the signature “-mo,” which indicates that it came directly from her and not from a staff member. The first lady has a long history with Roberts, tweeting her “prayers” for the host before she underwent a bone-marrow transplant last year and appearing with President Barack Obama in a “welcome back” message on ABC in February. Additionally, it was Roberts who conducted the interview during which the president first announced his support for same-sex marriage.

As the Phil Robertson blow-up reveals, any disagreement with this agenda and refusal to affirm the gay lifestyle will result not only in censor, but economic warfare.

Next up, a photo of the former Disney teenage sweetheart morphed into licentious slut, Miley Cyrus, engaged in a tongue kiss with a super model that has an ancestry firmly rooted in royalty. The photo of Cyrus and Cara Delevingne kissing sports the symbol of gay “rights” – a rainbow.

Many will, of course, chalk this one up to Miley (or more likely her management team) taking her new outrageous public persona to its next level.

However, the timing of the release of the photo coincides with a determined push to propagandize the public and inure it to homosexuality. It is also an effort to condition the herd to accept the LGBT political agenda that prominently features intolerance of religious values or any social or political opposition to the creation of a special group of individuals supposedly deserving preferential treatment by the state.

Lest you thought the battle over Phil Robertson’s comments about gays and Jim Crow-era relations might be calming—or even taking Christmas Day off—Reverend Jesse Jackson has waded in, and brought the controversy’s second Rosa Parks reference to boot.

“These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago,” Jackson said in a press release. “At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law. Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was ‘white privilege.’”

An Illinois congressional candidate compared Robertson favorably to Parks earlier in the week.

In the statement Jackson demanded meetings with A&E, which suspended Robertson indefinitely, and Cracker Barrel, which momentarily pulled Duck Dynasty products from its shelves before replacing them following a public outcry. He also joined GLAAD and NOW in calling for Robertson’s suspension to continued until the issue is resolved.

Charlie Sheen is now slamming Phil Robertson for his anti-gay views. Sheen took to Twitter on Sunday to address the patriarch, who has been under fire for his anti-gay remarks.

Writes Sheen:

Meanwhile, Robertson, who issued a statement standing by what he said in GQ, is staying true to himself. The reality show star and church elder led a small Bible study group in his West Monroe, La., church on Sunday, and the MailOnline was there.

Robertson defended himself and declared, 'I will not give or back off from my path," reports the site. He also noted that this is not the "first time" he has given his views on sin. And he added, "I love all men and women. I am a lover of humanity, not a hater."

After his Bible study group, Robertson joined the rest of the congregation for a church service. Robertson's son, Alan, led part of the proceedings and made reference to the attention the family has been getting. "Well we've had a quite a quiet week, shot some ducks, done some shopping, ignited a national controversy," he said.

The group that slammed Jennifer Lopez for performing in front of a dictator earlier this year is setting its sights on fellow pop star Maria Carey.

The Human Rights Foundation slammed Carey for a weekend performance for the Angolan Red Cross, claiming the event raised little cash for the cause but helped prop up a dictator and his repressive regime.

Mariah Carey can't seem to get enough dictator cash, reportedly more than $1 million dollars this time. Just five years ago she performed for the family of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Now, she goes from private performances to public displays of support and credibility for one of Africa's chief human rights violators and most corrupt tyrants," said HRF president Thor Halvorssen in a statement. "It is the sad spectacle of an international artist purchased by a ruthless police state to entertain and whitewash the father-daughter kleptocracy that has amassed billions in ill-gotten wealth while the majority of Angola lives on less than $2 a day," said Halvorssen.

Angolan leader Jose Eduardo dos Santos's daughter runs the Angolan Red Cross and owns the mobile company that sponsored the concert.

Carey eventually apologized for the Gaddafi concert appearance.

This weekend, the foundation quotes Carey paying tribute to the Angola leader--"I am happy to be here in this room and I am honored to share this show with the President of Angola."

Phil Robertson's Family Issues Statement on Duck Dynasty’s Future on A&E

The night after A&E decided to suspend Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson over comments he made in an interview about homosexual sex, the Robertson family posted a statement to its website about the future of the show.

We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E’s decision. We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word. While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Phil would never incite or encourage hate.We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right. We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm. We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty. Again, thank you for your continued support of our family.

Viewers of the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night were treated to a bizarre dance routine from former Disney child actress Miley Cyrus, which CBS News describes as “one performance that won’t be forgotten very quickly:”

Cyrus gave Robin Thicke a lap dance, paraded around with dancing bears, twerked her butt off and grabbed her crotch a few times. Not to mention the tongue. We saw a lot of that.

[Robin] Thicke’s mother, Gloria Loring, told OMG! Insider, “I don’t understand what Miley Cyrus is trying to do. I think she’s misbegotten in this attempt of hers. And I think it was not beneficial.” She added, “I didn’t get what her point was. It was so over the top as to almost be a parody of itself.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term, “twerking” is a dance move that dispenses with all the other subtleties of dance to deliver pelvic thrusts and butt wiggles.  If a cell phone set to “vibrate” magically became human and started dancing, it would twerk.  CBS left out the part where young Miley grabbed a foam finger from a member of the audience and began rubbing it against her crotch.  She wound up simulating a bit of anal penetration with Ms. Loring’s son, who was singing with her on stage.  And the “bears” in the act were dancers dressed like children’s teddy bears, adding a lovely touch of pedophilia chic to the proceedings.

My first exposure to Ms. Cyrus music came when I was putting together a photo slideshow for my 6-year-old niece’s birthday party, back in the “Hannah Montana” days.  That wasn’t so long ago.  I remember how much my little niece adored “Hannah Montana.”  She’s just now entering her preteen years – that tender moment in a young girl’s life when liberals think she should be able to get morning-after birth control pills over the counter, without her parents’ consent.  ”Hannah Montana” was a cute Disney fantasy about an ordinary girl who is secretly a millionaire pop star.  Is this how all the little girls who daydreamed about being Hannah Montana thought the dream would end?

I can tell Robin Thicke’s mom what Miley Cyrus was “trying to do.”  Most obviously, it was a bid for attention, another jolt of cheap electrical stimulus to the temples of a jaded, faded culture that expects nothing from young people, and is therefore shocked by nothing they do.  It’s not easy to generate controversy in a society whose only standard is that there should be no standards.  The only way for a barely-legal singer to get tongues wagging is to wag her tongue.  What else was she supposed to do, sing and dance modestly after endorsing abstinence, traditional marriage, and self-discipline?  That would have been plenty controversial, all right, but the people marketing her music wouldn’t like it, it’s hard to squeeze cash from rebellious teenagers with a message like that, and all the wrong people would have applauded.

Also, Ms. Loring, I would advise you not to underestimate the importance of the pedophile edge to Miley’s routine.  Sexualizing young people is an important mission of the Left.  They want little girls to jump right from teddy bears to Planned Parenthood.  That helps dissolve the bonds of family, which is a fading bastion of independence and self-reliance against collective power.  It’s important for the “Ozzie and Harriet” crowd to feel utterly marginalized, as unwelcome in 2013 as the pilgrims of Plymouth Rock.  We are supposed to accept that the world has forever moved on from those days.  Parents can’t control their kids – indeed, their influence is expressly unwelcome when it comes to sexual training, where the concept of “parental consent” has become as antique as the pocketwatch or bustle.  Liberal culture defines wanton sexuality and the rejection of family authority as “empowerment.”  It softens people up for hardcore government dependency when they’re forced to stop twerking and face the consequences.

Also, sexy children make a nice distraction for the older members of the Low Information Voter community, who crave transgression and worship youth, working as hard as possible not to grow up.

Miley Cyrus was on the bill with Lady Gaga, who is supposed to be the second coming of the aging Madonna, who has been busy transforming herself into a James Bond villain in her dotage.  Lady Gaga is said to have been “upstaged” by Miley’s re-enactment of a Japanese schoolgirl porn video, because all poor Gaga could think to do was dress up as a nun.  What kind of rebellion against authority is that?  Nuns are so pre-ObamaCare.  Religious conscience has given way before the power of the almighty State.  Nuns are just marking time until they’re legally compelled to perform abortions.

It might seem pathetic to watch these “edgy” artists flaunt their defiance against thoroughly vanquished traditions, but maybe it’s an encouraging sign.  Their marketing gurus apparently think there’s still a bit of milk in the old sacred cows.  The kids of 2013 can still savor a look of scandalized horror on Mom and Dad’s faces.  Someone apparently thinks “family values” haven’t quite been beaten to death.

Which is good, because “family values” remain our only hope for pulling out of the social and economic nose dive we find ourselves in.  The upper class retains the “secrets” of decorum, respect, and fidelity that everyone else has been tricked into forgetting.  Back when the Left set about turning the phrase “family values” into a post-modern joke, laughs were had at the expense of uptight squares who didn’t understand the difference between safeguarding important principles and having a bit of fun.  Well, the joke is on everyone else.

We never should have forgotten the potent connection between thought and expression, the importance of habit and ritual.  It is difficult to treasure what a saturation media culture treats like trash.  And it doesn’t help that the law of diminishing returns obliges the people who dug our cultural pit to dig more frantically as the hole grows deeper, madly searching for whatever flickers of shock value might still be left to uncover.

Societies die from thousands of cultural cuts.  Children are powerfully influenced by popular culture.  They yearn for guidance and inspiration from the adult world.  They receive the lesson transmitted by crap like the MTV Video Music Awards.  Kids a bit younger than Miley Cyrus remember what she used to be, and they see what she is now.  They see the road stretching between those points, and they follow it.  Unfortunately, they don’t understand that if you want to live a hedonistic anything-goes lifestyle, starting before you’re legally allowed to purchase alcohol, and avoid being destroyed by the consequences, it really helps to be a millionaire.

Bill O’Reilly And Matt Lauer Battle Over Media Coverage Of Whitney Houston’s Drug Addiction

Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly was a guest on Thursday morning’s TODAY show, and got into a relatively heated discussion with host Matt Lauer when the topic of Whitney Houston‘s death came up.


Lauer brought up O’Reilly’s earlier comments, when he said that Houston had wanted to kill herself, because of her constant abuse of drugs.


“I don’t believe that anyone is a slave to addiction,” O’Reilly said, explaining that while addiction is a disease, people also have free will. “You don’t have free will when you have lung cancer. You do have free will when you’re a crack addict.”


O’Reilly said the media looked the other way while Houston was addicted to drugs “for two decades.” When Lauer said that there were plenty of stories about Houston’s addiction, O’Reilly countered that they were just sensationalized accounts.


“You know what we in the media do, Lauer?” O’Reilly asked. “We wink wink it, we Snoop Dogg it. We Willie Nelson it. Hey, oh yeah, they’re stoned. That’s fine. And what message does that send? It’s okay!”


Lauer said that it was apples and oranges, saying that the media did highlight Houston’s problems.


“They exploited it!” O’Reilly exclaimed. “Name me one media commentator outside of myself who said, ‘Hey Whitney, you better knock it off or you’re going to be in the ground. Give me one!”


The two went back and forth on the coverage of Houston’s addiction before Lauer suggested, “Let’s move on a little, because you and I could do this for hours,”


“Because I’d always be right,” O’Reilly said.


“And I know you’d always think you’re right,” Lauer added.

After R&B crooner Chris Brown made an appearance in front of a reported 18,000 fans on NBC morning program The Today show as part of its Summer Concert Series this past Friday (July 15), rival network FOX News was critical of the station and singer based on Brown’s 2009 domestic dispute with then-girlfriend pop songstress Rihanna.


Over the weekend, FOX host Laura Ingraham in a clip offered quips on Brown’s turbulent past and saying that Americans were “disgusted” by his actions while criticizing his top billing on morning show's stages. Chris Brown tweeted angrily in response to the report over the weekend.


“People really should grow up sometimes! I guess the next story they make up will say "chris brown paid the fans to come! #stopit5 hahaha..,” tweeted Brown on Saturday (July 16). He followed up that post with, “Running bogus and pointless stories don't matter! My fans prove that everyday and the haters just look old as F**k !”


Brown fired off a few more tweets before thanking his followers on Twitter for supporting him and giving a shout out to his “Team Breezy” fans. It now appears that 50 Cent is also part of the team as well after firing off a supportive tweet of his own late Sunday evening.


“I just saw a clip on FOX news Hating on NBC for having chris brown on unbelievable. I'm never watching that again. He paid for his mistake #!@%*# holes,” tweeted 50 Cent. Brown responded to 50 a bit later with, “don't worry bro.. They mad because of the level of real people who live in this world. Not to mention their ratings probably sucked.”


Neither star has addressed FOX News since last night regarding the airing of the clip.

Conservatives are well aware that black liberals will believe anything they see and read from the mostly white and Leftist, lamestream press. And as they're want to do Black liberals will also support Democrats politicians regardless of the fact that they take them for granted or that over the years liberal theology (i.e. socialism or "blame the man") has only made life worse for Blacks as a whole.

Now conservative pundit Laura Ingraham does a report on why NBC would allow noted woman-beater and misogynist Chris Brown to perform on "The Today Show" and Brown and black liberals are angry at Ingraham for "not letting it go".

Of course, some of this reaction to Ingraham comes from black liberals having long been trained by the white, mainstream press to hate FOX News. But as the FOX story notes, some of it also comes from sheer and utter devotion to Brown, regardless of the fact that he beat up a famous black woman senseless and seemingly remains clueless about the ramifications of such actions judging from a handful of frightful incidents that've happened since he beat Rihanna to a pulp. Yet somehow, it's Ingraham who is the bad guy here for coming down hard on a woman beater.

Bristol Palin’s Success On "Dancing With The Stars" Sent Viewers Complaining To The FCC

As you may have heard, Bristol Palin recently appeared on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and she did pretty well–defying the judges and rising to the final three. Ultimately, she and her partner finished in third place.


Well, the against-all-odds success of Sarah Palin’s kid apparently boiled the blood of some DWTS viewers, who weren’t satisfied simply moaning to friends, family and neighbors, nor even to picking up the phone and complaining to ABC. No. They went to the government.


Documents obtained by The Smoking Gun detail all kinds of angry complaints registered with the Federal Communications Commission, ranging from accusations that ABC was “encouraging and promoting teen pregnancy” to charges the dance show’s voting system was rigged:


One viewer from Pittsburgh alleged that the show’s voting system had been “fixed by extreme supporters of the Tea Party and Radical Right-Wing. I find that it has become a political platform for Sarah Palin to improve her image and ooze her political slime.” The aggrieved correspondent continued, “Bristol is not a star, what did she do, she had sex and got pregnant. Lets reward her…I made several call to ABC’s complaint line and I hope that their phone lines melt. It has become a political movement, with Tea Party websites instructing on how to vote for Bristol. Ridiculousness!”


Ridiculous, indeed.


Perhaps the complainant least likely to be an entertaining dinner guest is the viewer from Cerritos, California who objected to a hug between Palin and DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba:


Noting that “no other dancer was called over for a hug,” one viewer claimed that the clinch was a “signal for the GOP/Tea Party supporters of Sarah Palin to ‘stuff’ the vote for Bristol Palin, who on both dates had to be dragged over the dance floor.” The writer added, “My 96 year old Mother-in-Law can dance better than Ms. Palin…I want my Government to protect me the viewer from deceptive practices.”


Yeah, um… fear not. The government will get right on this. Not much else on the proverbial plate right now.

Yeah, because Palin Derangement Syndrome does not exist.

Liberals Threaten Bristol Palin With Talcum Powder For Still Being On "Dancing With The Stars"

The Los Angeles studio were Dancing with the Stars is shot was evacuated Friday night after a mysterious letter containing a powdery substance was delivered.

None of the stars of the show were on scene at the time, RadarOnline.com has confirmed, but staffers took quick action

nonetheless.

"An envelope

containing an unknown substance was delivered to the Dancing with the Stars office on Friday evening," an ABC rep said in a statement.  "Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified.  Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel." production

Bristol Palin, Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey are the three stars who will be competing in the DWTS finale Monday night, and Bristol has been surrounded by controversy from her first appearance.

They just can't accept success for anyone with the last name Palin and yes, as its been proven time and time again, that even includes the kids.

'Teen Mom' Star Amber Portwood Charged With Domestic Violence Felonies

MTV's "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood faces felony domestic violence charges in her Indiana hometown because of incidents on her reality TV show -- where she is seen shoving, punching, slapping and choking her boyfriend, a police spokesman said.


Two of the three charges are felonies because the couple's 1-year-old child apparently witnessed the violence, according to Anderson, Indiana police spokesman Mitch Carroll.

The charges were outlined in a probable cause affidavit filed by police, but Portwood, 20, will not be arrested until the Madison County, Indiana, prosecutor files formal charges, Carroll said.

The investigation began seven weeks ago after MTV aired an episode of the reality series "Teen Mom" showing incidents captured over the summer, he said.

Gary Shirley, the 24-year-old boyfriend, and Portwood gave statements to police last month admitting to the incidents, he said.

"According to police documents, on August 14, 2009, Portwood shoved Shirley against a wall, slapped him on the face and choked him," Carroll said. "The incident was witnessed by the couple's 1-year-old child who sat in a child seat on a nearby bed."

Leave it to MTV to exploit the young, poor, naive and famewhore-seeking youths of the word for their profit margin. I've never watched "Teen Mom", but just from the title alone, sensationalizing young mothers who are clearly not ready for the strains of motherhood is just another chapter of MTV's long line of pushing our youth away from self-responsibility until every dollar is squeezed.
