Liberal Democrats Seek To Impeach Obama Over Libya Action

Hey, give them some credit for being consistent:
A hard-core group of liberal House Democrats is questioning the constitutionality of U.S. missile strikes against Libya, with one lawmaker raising the prospect of impeachment during a Democratic Caucus conference call on Saturday.

Reps. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), Donna Edwards (Md.), Mike Capuano (Mass.), Dennis Kucinich (Ohio), Maxine Waters (Calif.), Rob Andrews (N.J.), Sheila Jackson Lee (Texas), Barbara Lee (Calif.) and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D.C.) “all strongly raised objections to the constitutionality of the president’s actions” during that call, said two Democratic lawmakers who took part.

Kucinich, who wanted to bring impeachment articles against both former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney over Iraq — only to be blocked by his own leadership — asked why the U.S. missile strikes aren’t impeachable offenses.

Kucinich also questioned why Democratic leaders didn’t object when President Barack Obama told them of his plan for American participation in enforcing the Libyan no-fly zone during a White House Situation Room meeting on Friday, sources told POLITICO.

And liberals fumed that Congress hadn’t been formally consulted before the attack and expressed concern that it would lead to a third U.S. war in the Muslim world.

Nancy Pelosi: Insane Liberal of the Week

Age:
68

Birthplace:
Baltimore, Maryland

Claim To Fame:
current Speaker of the House

Why She's Insane Liberal of the Week:
for her ignorant refusal (despite 73% of Americans who favor it) to allow hearings on off-shore drilling for oil in and off Alaska, while at the same time actually opening the door for Bush Derangement Syndrome-sufferer Dennis Kucinich's impeachment hearings this week. Indeed, Pelosi's stunt is typical of liberal politicians who cater to the lies of militant environmentalism. Instead of helping to reduce oil prices as well as America's dependency of oil, Pelosi, leader of a 14%-approval rated Congress, would rather watch the American people continue to suffer at the pump with higher gas prices than offend her friends in the radical environmentalist lobby.

Dennis Kucinich Has Bush Derangement Syndrome

We're at war, the economy's a wreck, big election coming up and all a nutso liberal politician has on his brain is impeaching President Bush:

Cleveland Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich took to the House of Representatives floor on Monday evening to introduce a 35-count resolution to impeach President George W. Bush.

Kucinich claimed Bush “fraudulently” justified the war on Iraq and misled “the American people and members of Congress to believe Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction so as to manufacture a false case for war.”

“President George W. Bush, by such conduct, is guilty of an impeachable offense warranting removal from office,” Kucinich said.

Kucinich said in January that he planned to launch an impeachment effort against Bush, but delayed his effort after meeting with members of the House Judiciary Committee. The Judiciary Commitee hasn’t acted on a bid Kucinich launched last year to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney.

Bush has 6 months left in office and this idiot wants to pursue impeachment for alleged crimes that were substantiated by intelligence community estimates, in other words findings that the entire lot in Congress were able to see as well and therefore, approve the war. Leave it to a prick like Kucinich to let Left-fueled hate for Bush override the facts.

Sean Penn Is Getting A Divorce

Can't help but wonder if Penn's recent endorsement of UFO-believer Dennis Kucinich is when his wife finally decided that she'd had enough:

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Another Hollywood marriage is ending -- but this one was no flash in the pan.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are divorcing, according to their representative, Mara Buxbaum. People magazine first reported the split Thursday night.

The actors began dating after they met making the 1990 movie "State of Grace." They married in 1996, and have two children, Dylan Frances, 16, and Hopper Jack, 14.

Previously, Penn was married to Madonna for four years, while Wright was married to actor Dane Witherspoon for two years.

Dennis Kucinich Tells Us Something We Already Knew

John Edwards showing a "consistent lack of integrity"? Nah, just can't be.

An angry Dennis Kucinich lashed out at John Edwards on Friday, saying his Democratic rival showed "a consistent lack of integrity" by suggesting fewer candidates should participate in presidential forums and then trying to explain his remark to reporters.

The Ohio congressman's comments came after Edwards and Hillary Rodham Clinton were overheard Thursday after an NAACP forum in Detroit discussing the possibility of limiting the number of participants in presidential forums. Edwards said Friday he wasn't in favor of barring anyone from future gatherings. Rather, he said he wanted to see them separated into two groups of four each, chosen randomly, to spur more serious discussion.
