Why He's Conservative of the Week: for coming out and publicly supporting John McCain for president. In the entertainment world, announcing that you're a Republican can literally put the kibosh on your career. Thus, while liberal entertainers can shout their political views to the rafters, conservative celebrities can, at most, whisper theirs for fear of retribution from the leftist higher-ups who control most of the industry. However, for Perry, announcing his GOP allegiance was simply a matter of principle, national security and his country's current economic woes. And as he told The Boston Herald, "Seeing so many people come out for [BARACK] OBAMA, I just felt like... I might as well raise my hand for this side." Responding to criticisms of McCain's age, he adds, "My mother's in her 80s and she does aerobics... That doesn't bother me."

Obama Boots Newspapers Who Didn't Endorse Him

A record number of newspapers across the country have endorsed Barack Obama for President. And to the ones that didn't: Get Lost!

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is reportedly cleansing his campaign plane of reporters in the mainstream news media that work for newspapers that endorsed his opponent John McCain.

The Drudge Report is reporting that the Obama campaign has decided to dump three newspapers from its plane for the remainder of the campaign. According to Drudge, reporters from the New York Post, Washington Times, and Dallas Morning News -- all papers that endorsed John McCain -- are being asked to move out by Sunday to make room for "network bigwigs," documentary filmmakers, and possibly reporters from two black magazines, Essence and Jet.

As the most liberal senator in all of the Senate Barack Obama has never shown an ability or want to reach across the aisle for bipartisanship, much less deal with anyone he feels is against him. During his presidential campaign he has repeatedly sued those who dare criticize him, threatened news stations who dare ask his ticket tough questions, stood by silently while his base smeared Joe The Plumber and mocked the credibility of the one national news network in the country, FOX, that apparently is not in the tank for his campaign. If Barack Obama wins on Tuesday, you better say what you want about him now while you still can.

Lesbian Huffington Post Writer Carol Anne Burger Stabs Lover 222 Times!

Carol Anne Burger killed her former lover by stabbing her 222 times with a Phillips-head screwdriver and then took pains to hide her crime, police said Wednesday.

Jessica Kalish, who shared a house with Burger despite breaking up with her more than a year ago, was found last Thursday stuffed in the backseat of her gun-metal BMW sedan, abandoned behind a medical office at 2300 S. Congress Avenue. Her blood was splashed around the rear end and undercarriage of the car, as if her killer had tried to load her into the trunk. The driver-side window was shattered.

Examining the body, detectives absorbed what had been done to her. Stab wounds were clustered around the back of her head and stitched across her back and arms and face. Most were between an inch and an inch-and-a-half deep. A blow to Kalish's neck probably killed her, investigators determined.

At a news conference Wednesday, police laid out what they'd learned during a week of investigation. They said the evidence pointed to one conclusion: Burger killed Kalish, a 56-year-old software executive whom friends described as worldly and intelligent, and then tried to throw investigators off her trail.

What pulled the trigger in Burger?

Her friends, the ones who can bring themselves to believe what police said about her, turn the question over in amazement.

Minutes after someone called their home and said he had found Kalish's wallet and keys near 548 E. Gateway Boulevard, Burger reported Kalish missing Thursday afternoon. She told police Kalish left for a workout Wednesday night and never came home.

As investigators studied the case, several telltale signs, including the ferocity and personal nature of the attack, pointed to Burger, they said.

But before they could question her, Burger walked out into her back yard, pressed a gun up under her chin and pulled the trigger, police said. Detectives found her body there last Thursday but couldn't locate a suicide note.

Conservatives are well aware of how terrifying liberals can be when they get angry, but this takes the cake. Burger was an extreme leftwing political scribe who contributed to the liberal website The Huffington Post. Despite reports from friends that she had been thinking about leaving the U.S. soon due to her "disgust" here, was depressed and refused to take anti-depressants for years, Burger was still tapped to cover the presidential election a few weeks ago by HuffPo. Indeed, if you've ever read the op-ed pieces at HuffPo, one would think that having Bush Derangement Syndrome as well as the ability to put two sentences together would be the only requirements for employment. Apparently all the rage Burger had in her professional life was equal in her personal as well, too bad she had to take down Jessica Kalish with her. Yet, somehow I think the loons at HuffPo will still find a way to pin this tragedy on President Bush.

Samuel L. Jackson Doesn't Support Proposition 8

Who knew that Samuel L. Jackson, a man I've greatly respected over the years for all his fine works onscreen, was in cahoots with the rest of the morally bankrupt, liberal Hollywood Left:

According to E! Online, the "Soul Men" star recorded a radio spot Monday pleading with voters to oppose the proposition.

Jackson joins other stars who have taken a stand against Prop. 8, including Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg, Ellen DeGeneres, Barbra Streisand, Molly Ringwald and Fran Drescher, as well as Pete Wentz and his Fall Out Boy bandmates.

Proposition 8 isn't just about returning marriage back to its traditional/Judeo-Christian roots, it's about the will of the people vs. leftwing judicial activism, the bully pulpit of gay activists and once again the sheer and utter hypocrisy of the Left. When the courts don't vote in their favor they whine (like the sound of liberals still bitching about Bush vs. Gore 2000 despite the fact that Bush won fair and square), but when the courts come down their way, suddenly it's about protecting "progressive rights", better yet their immoral agenda. Samuel L. Jackson loses major cool points with me on this one.

Ohio To Investigate Obama Supporter's Smear Attempt On Joe The Plumber

Ohio's inspector general is investigating why state computers were used to find personal information on "Joe the Plumber."

Investigators are trying to determine whether computer systems were illegally accessed to retrieve information about Toledo-area plumber Joe Wurzelbacher (wur-zuhl-BAHK'-ur).

Helen Jones-Kelly, state Department of Job and Family Services director, says she approved a check after the Oct. 15 presidential debate to see whether Wurzelbacher was current on child support payments. She says there were no political reasons behind the decision.

Republican John McCain repeatedly cited Wurzelbacher's concerns over Democrat Barack Obama's tax proposals in that debate.
