Alan Grayson Accused of Shoving Wife

A Florida judge has granted a temporary protective order to the wife of Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson after he allegedly shoved her during a weekend dispute, according to a complaint obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.

Grayson, a second-term lawmaker reelected to the House in 2012 after losing his seat the previous cycle, has denied the allegations.

Grayson and his wife, Lolita, are in the process of divorcing after 24 years of marriage. The couple have two children.

According to a complaint filed by Lolita Grayson, she and the congressman had an argument when he came to her house on Saturday night.

She asserts that Grayson “deliberately and with force pushed [Lolita Grayson] very hard against the front door, causing [her] to fall to the ground as a result,” according to a copy of a complaint obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.

Lolita Grayson also claims the congressman “has battered [her] and the parties’ minor children” in the past, although she has not previously reported such actions.

For the second time in his life, Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) has lost millions to fraud.

Grayson was recently named in federal court papers in the case against William Dean Chapman, a Virginia man who was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison. Chapman pleaded guilty in May to a scheme that cheated Grayson and about 120 other people out of more than $35 million, The Associated Press reported on Monday.

Grayson -- who has been named one of the 50 richest members of Congress -- personally lost $18 million to Chapman, according to the AP.

Believe it or not, it's the second time this kind of thing has happened to Grayson -- in 2009, he won a $34 million judgment in a lawsuit against a company whose business plan was similar to Chapman's.

Chapman's scheme involved clients handing over stocks as collateral for loans from his company, Alexander Capital Markets. If the stocks did well, customers were supposed to repay Chapman with interest and would then get the stocks back at their increased value. But court papers say Chapman sold the stocks and had no way to repay clients if their stocks did well.

The court papers do not suggest Grayson was anything but a victim in the scheme, according to the AP. His stocks performed "astronomically well" after he turned them over the Chapman, the AP reported, and lawyers for Chapman argued they did so well they undid Chapman's scheme.

Shocker: Far-Left MSNBC Host Martin Bashir Tears Into Rep. Alan Grayson Over KKK-Tea Party Email

This might come as a surprised to anyone familiar with Martin Bashir‘s usual rhetoric. On Friday afternoon, the MSNBC host tore into Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) for his “inflammatory” fundraising email that compared the Ku Klux Klan to the tea party movement. The congressman continued his defense of the email in spite of outspoken liberal Bashir’s protests. 

Bashir began by noting that he has “some sympathy” for Grayson’s analysis, citing how “over the last five years, we have witnessed plenty of instances of racial hatred toward the president — whether it’s the revoting Rush Limbaugh, the imbecile Sarah Palin, or tea party supporters spewing their hate at various rallies.” However, he asked, “How can you possibly compare racist epithets with racist actions of the KKK, which actually led to racist murders?” 

Grayson responded that “the home of discrimination and bigotry in our country” is the tea party, similar to how, at one point, the KKK was the wellspring of racial hatred years ago. “I’m pleased that we haven’t gone so far as to see those murders,” he said, “but the analogy holds to that degree,” citing the protestor who waved a Confederate flag in front of the White House recently. 

“But how many young black and white civil rights workers has the tea party lynched?” Bashir asked, prompting the congressman to respond: “Sometimes analogies are imperfect.” 

“Do you accept that that may have been an inappropriate analogy?” the MSNBC host pressed. 

“No,” the congressman replied. He suggested that because the NAACP once asked the tea party to remove racists from their midst, and have thus far failed to do so, the analogy holds. 

Bashir attempted to corner Grayson by likening him to some of the more extreme elements of the Republican Party who’ve failed to curtail their own “incendiary” comments. “Don’t you yourself thereby debase your own party by arguing on their level?” the host asked. 

“Do you think that racism is the same as calling out racism?” a baffled Grayson fired back. “Do you think that my effort to end racism in America is somehow analogous to racism itself? That’s ridiculous.” 

Towards the end of the interview, Grayson even suggested that Bashir was in cahoots with the racist elements of the tea party by calling him out in the first place: “The point I’m making is that if you don’t speak out against it, then in effect, you’re collaborating with it,” he said. “And, in fact, if you give someone like me a hard time for speaking out against it, then maybe you’re collaborating with it.”

What Isn't Racist? According to the Liberal Media, Nothing

President Obama's election was supposed to usher in an era of racial unity greater than any Americans had previously experienced. By making the historic move to place the first black president in the White House, Americans signified that they were ready to move beyond the racial conflicts of the past and move forward, arm-in-arm. 

At least that's what we were told. 

So much for that. 

In the last two weeks, MSNBC's Chris Matthews, official hot-air-trial balloon for the Obama administration's public relations strategy, has played the race card incessantly. First, he proclaimed that Republican New Jersey senatorial candidate Steve Lonegan was using a racist "dog whistle" when he stated that Cory Booker's Newark was a "black hole" for state tax funds. Then, Matthews said that tea partiers using the word "we the people" to describe the country signified racism, since not everyone agrees with the tea party program. Then, to top it all off, Matthews declared Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who is of Cuban descent, a racist for joking upon his return to Texas, "Gee, it's great to be back in America." That led Matthews into this wild rant: "This 'We're Americans, we white people out here in Texas, as opposed to people who live in the big cities: the ethnics, the blacks, the browns. Those people in Washington, those liberals, they're not Americans.' This guy either has a total lack of understanding of American history and the hell we went through in the McCarthy period or he knows it damn well and is playing that card." 

Matthews has not been strapped into the straitjacket yet, but he's getting close. 

Meanwhile, Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., went further than Matthews, declaring that the tea party was akin to the Ku Klux Klan. He put out a flyer to his constituents with a burning cross in place of the "t" in the word "tea." The flyer stated, "The Tea Party is no more popular than the Klan." When called on to disown this race-baiting trash, Grayson instead doubled down, stating, "there is overwhelming evidence that the Tea Party is the home of bigotry and discrimination in America today, just as the KKK was for an earlier generation. If the shoe fits, wear it." Grayson did not explain why the KKK was a group that voted unanimously Democrat, why progressive hero Woodrow Wilson was a huge fan of the KKK, and why KKK former honcho Robert Byrd was treasured by the Democratic Party until the day he died. 

Charges of racism have echoed from nearly every left-leaning mouth of late. Opposition to Obamacare: racist. Opposition to President Obama on the shutdown: racist. Don't like the president's tie-shirt combination? Racist. 

This is not what Americans were promised. What's worse, it's un-American drivel. Ascribing racial motives to those who have none has become a near pathological condition among those on the left who cannot come to terms that their beloved leader's second term is a policy disaster. Racism is the last bullet in the leftist arsenal. And they're running out of ammo quickly.

Liberal Scumbag Alan Grayson Compares Tea Party To KKK

Florida Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson’s campaign sent out a fundraising email likening the tea party to the Ku Klux Klan, complete with an image of a burning cross.

The email, which went out to supporters yesterday, shows a burning cross — complete with images of two KKK-like figures in the background — used as the “T” in “tea party.” When users click on the image, they’re taken to a fundraising landing page for Grayson’s campaign.

The text of the email is an excerpt from an interview Grayson did with the Rev. Al Sharpton, in which he draws the tea party-KKK comparison.

“At this point, the tea party is no more popular than the Klan,” Grayson says in the interview.

The email praises Grayson’s bluntness and urges supporters to donate to his campaign.

“Congressman Alan Grayson deserves your support, like no one else,” the email says. “He, and only he, is saying the things that you are thinking, and so much need to be said.”

Matt Gorman, rapid response director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, denounced Grayson’s fundraising tactics.

“There’s no excuse for the hateful words and imagery used by Congressman Grayson,” he said in a statement. “House Democrats should swiftly and strongly condemn him and return the money he has raised for them. This hate-filled rhetoric has Americans fed up with Washington.”

The newfound civility didn’t last long. Political rhetoric in Congress doesn’t get much nastier than the words of one House Democrat during the debate on repealing the health care law.


In an extraordinary outburst on the House floor, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) invoked the Holocaust to attack Republicans on health care and compared rhetoric on the issue to the work of infamous Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.


“They say it's a government takeover of health care, a big lie just like Goebbels," Cohen said. "You say it enough, you repeat the lie, you repeat the lie, and eventually, people believe it. Like blood libel. That's the same kind of thing. And Congressman Cohen didn’t stop there.


“The Germans said enough about the Jews and people believed it--believed it and you have the Holocaust. We heard on this floor, government takeover of health care. Politifact said the biggest lie of 2010 was a government takeover of health care because there is no government takeover," Cohen said.


Cohen made his comments late last night, but they have attracted no attention because his speech was made to a virtually empty House chamber with no reporters around to watch.

Speaking of Grayson, good to see he's still same a-hole he always was.

Sore Loser Alan Grayson Blames Low Democrat Turnout For Defeat

“Progressive firebrand” and MSNBC staple Alan Grayson may have lost his congressional reelection bid this Tuesday, but it doesn’t appear that he will abandon his progressive causes anytime soon. In an interview that parallels Bill O’Reilly’s chat with Christine O’Donnell on Fox News, Grayson evaluated his strategy and defeat this week with MSNBC’s Cenk Uygur.


Grayson, visibly downbeat about his election results, explained that the reason for his defeat was the inability of Democrats nationally to get out the vote. “If Democrats don’t vote,” he told Uygur, “Democrats can’t win.” Explaining that turnout had fallen 20% for Republicans and 60% for Democrats in his district since 2008, he argued that “Democrats are saddened and demoralized by this policy of appeasement” that he believes always leads to defeat where compromise is not an option. Compromise, he continued, was not possible with Republicans because their entire strategy is “no.”


“There is no ‘center left,’” he continued to argue, such that being a centrist or attempting to ignore extremes was a losing policy. Calling the campaign a “national disaster,” Grayson believes his defeat was not a local issue, but a national epidemic of malaise on the left. “Our voters went on strike,” he concluded, “and we have to win them back by accomplishing things for ordinary people.”

Oh yeah, his loss couldn't have had to do anything with that disgraceful "Taliban Dan" ad or his below-the-left comments towards Republicans on the Congress floor or him just being an all-around a-hole (something even fellow Democrats have alluded to in the past). If only more Democrats had showed up at the polling booth...right. Good riddance you self-righteous prick

Daniel Webster Defeats Alan Grayson!

Thank goodness, no matter what happens to Congress after today, the room just got a little brighter:

Not even two hours after the polls closed, Congressman Alan Grayson says things didn't work out.


Grayson said he now calls on Webster to alleviate Americans pain.


He said this loss should come as no surprise, as the victory two years ago was a struggle.


Grayson said before the polls even opened, Democrats were behind. After absentee and early voting, Republicans had outvoted by 11,000. He needed a massive Democratic turnout to win and that didn't happen.


"Listen, it's a wave year,” Grayson said. “There are Democrats all over the country that are losing right now and losing big. There’s no reason why Florida should be any different from that. I'm a Democrat. I needed Democrats to vote in order to win."


Grayson said now he will concentrate on being a better husband and father.


Webster issued the following statement after Grayson's concession Tuesday.


"This is a new day for our Country and I am thankful to be a part of it. This is a huge victory for people who are tired of the politics of personal destruction. We ran a positive campaign against a broken system. Now it's time to begin the work of fixing it."

MSNBC Pres. Asks For Examples Of On-Air Fund-raising; Inevitably, Examples Found

After we and other outlets picked up on the almost literal fund-raising going on during a Sean Hannity interview, MSNBC President Phil Griffin made a challenge in the New York Times, to “show me an example of us fund-raising.” Examples = found.


Johnny Dollar took the challenge and came up with some very clear examples. Most of them involve Ed Schultz, and a few examples are interviews with frequent guest of The Ed Show, Rep. Alan Grayson. Schultz, who has a segment called Psycho Talk on his show, allowed Grayson to give out his website several times during interviews. Or how about this exchange with Ohio Democratic candidate Justin Coussoule:

SCHULTZ: I say tonight that the DNC needs to filter money into Justin Coussoule‘s race to go after John Boehner. The Republicans have done a great job taking down leaders in the past like Tom Daschle. They got a lot of national money in South Dakota on that one. Thune beat him. The evidence is pretty clear. Maybe it hasn’t happened blatantly during prime time hours, but Ed Schultz, who helps run political rallies and spoke about torching his workplace, has certainly allowed for fund-raising during his 6pmET program. “If it is inappropriate for a cable news channel to let politicos solicit money, volunteers, or whatever on its air, then it’s inappropriate for everyone, not just Fox,” writes Johnny Dollar. “But have you heard anything from Media Matters, Think Progress, and the other ‘media watchdogs’ about MSNBC’s fund-raising?”

Anderson Cooper Nails Rep. Alan Grayson Over Misleading ‘Taliban Dan’ Campaign Ad

By now, pretty much everybody discredits and disdains the ‘Taliban Dan’ ad commissioned by Rep. Alan Grayson. Well, everybody except for Alan Grayson, who’s still defending his attack ad on cable news networks. The Democratic congressman first took his case to MSNBC’s unconvinced Contessa Brewer, and last night he visited Anderson Cooper, who was also tough on him. Cooper plainly accuses Grayson of misrepresenting his Republican opponent Daniel Webster, saying, “You can’t argue that.” The wily Grayson responded: “I don’t know why you keep saying I can’t argue this, that, or the other thing.”


The Florida congressman tells Cooper that his intent was “to point out in a vivid way that [Daniel Webster] is someone with an 18th Century name and a 13th Century conception of how women should live in America.” Cooper points out that Grayson had to twist words and edit footage to make his point, to which Grayson responds:

I don’t agree with that. … I’ve seen that speech, and I think that [my ad] reflects exactly what his conception of women actually are.

Cooper then cited the basic tenets of ethical journalism:

We wouldn’t be allowed to do that in news. What gives you the right to do that when you’re trying to get people’s votes?

But the unapologetic Grayson claims that “we’ve moved away from the whole subject of whether he was quoted in context or out of context,” as if it only takes a week for someone to get over being accused of being a Taliban sympathizer on national television. Cooper, too, found this to be disingenuous.

Alan Grayson is scum, any person who votes for this man should be slapped.

Shocker: MSNBC's Contessa Brewer Takes Alan Grayson To Task For Lying, Smear Ad Against GOP Opponent

We criticize MSNBC enough for its naked advocacy on behalf of the Democrats and Barack Obama, so in all fairness, we should note that they do have limits … and Alan Grayson apparently found them. Contessa Brewer engages Grayson on his disgraceful, dishonest “Taliban Dan” smear and — to her credit — refuses to let him off the hook for it. At one point, Grayson accuses Brewer of distracting attention from women’s issues, but Brewer fires back and tells Grayson that he approved the ad and its own off-message smears and out-of-context quotes. If Grayson was serious about the issues, Brewer asks, why not just stick to the issues rather than issue an ad rated “false” by Factcheck?

Finally, MSNBC does some constructive, critical criticism of a far-Left loon. Maybe more of this might help boost their abysmal ratings.

Alan Grayson: Glenn Beck Fans Wore "Sheets Over Their Heads"

Since his election two years ago, Orlando Democrat U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson’s fame has multiplied exponentially with every inflammatory remark.


Every time he says something like the Republicans’ health care plan is to “die quickly” or that Dick Cheney is a vampire who should “STFU,” he becomes a bigger hero to liberals and a bigger target of conservatives. Now there’s another addition to the list of Grayson’s greatest hits.


During an appearance on the progressive talk-radio “Stephanie Miller Show” on Thursday — part of a regular segment called “Face the Grayson” — the congressman likened those who attended Glenn Beck’s rally last week at the Lincoln Memorial to Ku Klux Klan members.


Miller: “The Glenn Beck thing — is that going to have an effect in November? To me, they were, I’m sorry, mostly old, white … mostly McCain-Palin leftovers, weren’t they? These aren’t new voters, these are people that have always voted Republican.”


Grayson: “These are people who were wearing sheets over their heads 25 years ago.”


The congressman also repeated one of his recent favorites: “You only have three friends in life: God, your mama, and the Democratic Party.”

I know that Stephanie Miller is a staunch liberal (and ironically a FOX News contributor), but for her to laugh at this idiot's remark comparing Beck fans to the KKK without realizing how much his sheer stupidity hurts the "progressive cause" is pretty sad. Alan Grayson appeals to dumb liberals who like to scream and shake their fists, that's it. Alan Grayson is a dishonest scaremonger and an all-around scumbag. Comparing your political opponents fans to the KKK is so disgusting and beyond the pale that it leaves you with little wonder why this country is so fed up with the Left.

How did Grayson get elected in the first place in an R+2 district? One might think that this kind of victory would have Grayson acting a lot more moderate and, well, sane. However, as we have seen repeatedly in his freshman term in the House, Grayson has gone full bore into hard-Left lunacy, so much so that even his appearances on friendly media outlets proved tiresome for his hosts, as the last scene shows in the video.


Daniel Webster won the GOP nomination. It won’t take much more than simple replays of Grayson’s videotaped nuttiness to define the incumbent as ripe for retirement.

What was somewhat shocking was seeing CNN's Anderson Cooper take on Grayson Friday evening when the Congressman accused Dr. Jack Cassell of being racist.

"What he is doing is no different from saying I will not treat a black person," amazingly stated Grayson.

Cooper surprisingly didn't agree

Woah, good for Anderson Cooper! To think maybe this kind of fair reporting on the issues could help CNN with their plummeting ratings.

First, what's ultimately revealing about this is that Grayson really seems to think that dissing Bush still resonates with most Americans. I mean, sure it worked well from 2006 to '08, but considering that the current President isn't favored by most Americans (even AFTER his "huge" health care "reform" package passed), could it be that there might be SOME legitimacy as to why most American's in today's world are kinda fed up with Congress? Secondly, it's sad that Grayson's so caught in his bitter hate for Republicans that he hasn't been paying attention to what recently went down in Massachusetts, much less New Jersey or Virginia. Then there's the obvious: Palin has proven to be a force to be reckoned with and she has a huge following behind her, underestimating her is not only ass-backwards, but besides being down with the GOP, in a practical sense she and Bush have little in common. Lastly, by smearing Bush this way, not only has Grayson made himself look like even more of a far-Left prick, but considering the classy way Bush has stayed out of the limelight (much less not criticizing Barry) since he left office, one can only imagine that even independents (the real difference makers) in Florida will see this "spoof" as just another stupid, childish and utterly lame move by a snarky liberal who needs to belittle people in order to get his point across.

Not everyone thinks imitation is the best form of flattery.

In fact, U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson of Orlando took such offense at a parody website aimed at unseating him that the freshman Democrat has asked that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder investigate the Lake County activist who started the anti-Grayson website “mycongressmanisnuts.com.”

Specifically, Grayson accuses Republican activist Angie Langley of lying to federal elections. His four-page complaint highlights the fact that the Clermont resident lives outside his district, but that Langley still uses the term “my” in “mycongressmanisnuts.com.”

“Ms. Langley has deliberately masqueraded as a constituent of mine, in order to try to create the false appearance that she speaks for constituents who don’t support me,” writes Grayson. “[She] has chosen a name for her committee that is utterly tasteless and juvenile.”

Grayson’s office did not respond with comment other than to confirm the letter exists — including its request that Langley be fined and “imprisoned for five years.”

Langley did not immediately respond with comment.

Her webpage, which imitates Grayson’s own congressmanwithguts.com, was launched this fall as a way to raise money against him. He has infuriated Republicans this year, most famously by saying the GOP healthcare plan was for sick patients to “die quickly.”

"Tasteless and juvenile" from the same guy who just got on TV and said that Dick Cheney should "STFU" the other day. Give a liberal a taste of their own medicine and they whine like a little girl. Cry me a river already.

New Liberal Leader Alan Grayson Calls Woman A "Whore"

Florida Rep. Alan Grayson called an aide to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke a "K Street whore" during a radio interview that aired last month, Roll Call reported.

According to the audio posted on YouTube, Grayson, a Democrat, reportedly said on the Alex Jones radio show, "Here I am, the only member of Congress who actually worked as an economist. And she’s, this lobbyist, this K Street whore, is trying to teach me about economics."

Grayson, a first term congressman, was allegedly referring to Bernanke adviser Linda Robertson, who Grayson said had headed up Enron Corp.'s lobbying shop in Washington, D.C., the newspaper reported.

A Democratic aide of Grayson's later defended his statement, telling the newspaper, "The Congressman’s choice of the words referred to her career as a lobbyist and her history of promoting whomever and whatever pays."
