Latina Actress Maria Conchita Alonso Bullied Off San Francisco Stage Production Over Her Support for Conservative Candidate for Calif. Governor

Maria Conchita Alonso, who starred in movies such as “The Running Man” and “Moscow on the Hudson,” said Sunday that she had resigned from a play because of threats of boycotts and protests over her support for Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, a Republican gubernatorial candidate and a founder of a Minuteman border-patrol chapter.

“I said, ‘Well, you know the ... production doesn’t need to be hurt by me,” she said in an interview. “I told them, ‘Listen, it’s the best for everybody.’ ”

Alonso had been set to appear in a Spanish-language production of the Vagina Monologues in San Francisco in February. Last week, she appeared in an online campaign video for Donnelly, a tea party favorite, saying she supported his calls to return film production to Hollywood, increase domestic energy production and reduce government interference in citizens’ lives.

Alonso, 56, was born in Cuba and raised in Venezuela and has a history of political activism, notably opposition to the late Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez. In 2011, she got into a heated exchange with Sean Penn at the baggage claim at Los Angeles International Airport over his support of the Socialist leader. Penn called her a pig; she called him a communist.

“I don’t want the government to be involved in my life, I don’t want government to control my life,” she said. “… I’ve known what communism is and when the people depend on government, that’s wrong; then the government has control over you.”

Last week, Alonso appeared in a bilingual online campaign video for Donnelly. In the video, she held her Chihuahua, Tequila, as she translated some of Donnelly’s remarks into Spanish, and paraphrased others for laughs.

“Politicians and big government are killing our prosperity,” Donnelly says in the video. “They’re driving business out of our state, pushing welfare costs through the roof and driving our schools into the ground.”

Alonso, looking alarmed, translates these remarks as: “We’re screwed.”

Alonso has been criticized over the video from not only the left, but also on the right. She said that while she doesn’t agree with all of Donnelly’s positions, such as his views on hunting, she believes he is a good man with an open mind.

"Adriana", Face of Obamacare, Never Signed Up For Obamacare

The smiling woman who was once the face of the Affordable Care Act's website has come out of the shadows to stand up to the "cyberbullying" she says she suffered after the law's flawed kickoff. 

Speaking exclusively to ABC News, Adriana, who asked that only her first name be used, said she was speaking out now to defend herself after weeks of enduring online lampooning. 

"They have nothing else to do but hide behind the computer. They're cyberbullying," Adriana told ABC News' Amy Robach.

"I'm here to stand up for myself and defend myself and let people know the truth," she said. 

On Oct. 1, 2013, when the ACA's website launched to enroll Americans in health insurance through federally run exchanges, it was Adriana's face that greeted them. 

Dubbed the "enigmatic Mona Lisa of health care," her face was soon mocked, Photoshoped, altered. She became the subject of late-night jokes, partisan hatred and intense speculation. 

The saga of the photo started innocuously enough. Adriana responded to an email from someone at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the agency responsible for the Affordable Care Act's rollout, about having photos of her and her family taken for free in exchange for allowing the photos to be used to market the new health care law. She was never paid. 

She learned over the summer that her photo would be on healthcare.gov's main page, but she didn't realize it would become so closely associated with the problems of the glitchy website. 

"I mean, I don't know why people should hate me because it's just a photo. I didn't design the website. I didn't make it fail, so I don't think they should have any reasons to hate me," Adriana told ABC News. 

Speculation swirled that Adriana might not be a legal resident of the United States, and therefore not even eligible for the health care exchanges. Adriana said she is a wife and mother who lives in Maryland with her 21-month-old son and husband of six and a half years. Her husband is a U.S. citizen, as is his her son.

Adriana, who is Colombian, said she has lived legally in the U.S. for more than six years, is currently a permanent resident and is applying for citizenship. 

Though she is eligible for healthcare through the ACA, Adriana says she hasn't signed up for it, and is neither in favor nor against it.

Actress Melissa Joan Hart Says People Wished Her Death Because She Voted For Mitt Romney

Melissa Joan Hart was a hot topic on talk radio this week after she revealed in a Wednesday interview with the Huffington Post the extent of the vitriol she encountered when she proclaimed last year she was voting for Mitt Romney over President Barack Obama.

"Can't get too political in only 140 chac but for those asking, I'm voting #RomneyRyan," Hart tweeted a year ago.
After the tweet, "I got called every name in the book," Hart said on HuffPost Live, an Internet show. Video of the episode is below.

She said some people said "they hope I die, and that they hope my children are gay, which was somehow supposed to be a sort of punishment. … The hate was really unbelievable."

She said her tweet was meant to encourage participation in the election. "As a [member of the] Rock the Vote generation, I was told my vote counted, and I had to get out and do that," she said.

In response to Twitter followers who were asking about the upcoming election a year ago, she said: "The night before the election, I said I'm voting Romney … all of a sudden I was the devil."

Hart is best-known for her role as Sabrina on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch from 1996 to 2003, and currently stars on Melissa & Joey on ABC Family. She has been promoting her book, Melissa Explains It All, on various outlets lately. On Friday, the KABC radio morning crew in Los Angeles dedicated a segment to her HuffPo comments.

Hart, in fact, has been asked before about reaction to her tweet. Speaking to Sean Hannity on Fox News, she accused Hollywood of intolerance toward nonliberals. "It is like a blacklist. It's a little scary," she said.
Hart is one of many who have leveled such charges. James Woods recently received a lot of attention by tweeting that he didn't expect to work in Hollywood again because he is critical of Obama.

Clint Howard, an actor since 1961 and younger brother of filmmaker Ron Howard, warned conservatives in Hollywood to "be careful" during a Republican event two years ago. "I came out of the closet. In Hollywood, I certainly understand that's dangerous," he said.

At the same event, Morgan Brittany recalled how "everybody" bashed President Ronald Reagan when she was on the 1980s hit TV show Dallas. "I never said anything because I thought I'd lose my job," she said. "I got to a point later on, after Dallas was over and I had my two children, that I said, 'Enough is enough. I'm not going to be silent any longer.' "

Conservative Actor James Woods on Left’s Hollywood Blacklist: ‘I Don’t Expect to Work Again’

In an industry dominated by the white, morally-bankrupt, liberal, elite, conservatives actors know that they are risking their livelihoods when speaking out against liberal terrorism:

Actor James Woods, one of the few outspoken, persistent critics of the Obama Administration in Hollywood realizes that he’s jeopardizing his career given the suffocating left-wing political correctness that so dominates the entertainment industry.

After calling out President Obama for his rank hypocrisy in closing down the World War II Memorial but allowing a protest of illegal aliens to occur at the “closed” National Mall, Woods acknowledged he was jeopardizing his future by condemning Obama as a “true abomination.”

“I don’t expect to work again,” Woods said on Twitter after being asked if he was putting his career at risk. “I think Barack Obama is a threat to the integrity and future of the Republic. My country first.” 

This is not the first time that Woods has criticized Obama. This past July, he condemned the president for increasing racial resentment and not encouraging work as the only path from poverty.

“ALL youth of every heritage in this country would benefit from jobs and manageable student loans, NOT a bloated Welfare State,” he said on Twitter after Obama claimed that he had witnessed people lock their doors when he approached them simply because he was a black man.

“The only reason people lock their car doors when Obama walks by is they are afraid he'll tax them to death...” he continued.

Kudos to Woods for being brave enough to speak up about his views despite the very real risk that he’s ended up on the left’s blacklist.

"Preachers of L.A." Trailer

There's a show coming this fall to Oxygen that is already sparking controversy. The reality program "Preachers of L.A." will follow the lavish lives and booming careers of six mega pastors — Clarence McClendon, Deitrick Haddon (one of the show's producers), Jay Haizlip, Noel Jones, Wayne Chaney and Ron Gibson.

A description on Oxygen's website boasts: "Known for their fiery sermons, community outreach and passionate followings, pastors have become iconic, beloved, and sometimes polarizing figures in modern culture. Yet, few people have access to these larger-than-life men away from the pulpit. Until now."

As the official trailer reveals, the docuseries shows these men of faith "inside and outside of the church" as they shop, golf, vacation. Bishop Clarence McClendon said, "The Bible says that I wish above all things that you will prosper and be in health, even as your soul will prosper--I believe that," expressing a view that all of the preachers seem to hold in common. And when it comes to the men's lifestyles there's no shortage of controversy.

"P. Diddy, Jay-Z — they're not the only ones who should be driving Ferraris and living in large houses," said Bishop Gibson, who is himself the product of a past characterized by struggle and redemption. The show's blog gives a brief overview of Gibson's background as a former gang member, and explains how his life was transformed by the Christian message:

"Although he was raised by a Christian mother in the Church, Ron succumbed to the pressure of the streets and became a Compton Crip by the age of sixteen. This led to a life of crime and drug addiction, until Christ changed his life. He started Life Church Of God In Christ with nine members, which has now grown to a congregation of approximately 4,000 members."

Untalented, Godless Actress Michelle Rodriguez Comes Out As "Bisexual", Liberal Press Celebrates

What makes a talented actor or actress is an ability to show range and get "lost" in their character--it's what separates Denzel Washington, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and a Meryl Streep from their counterparts. Despite this fact, Michelle Rodriguez, a longtime Hispanic actress with very little range (she almost always plays "tough chick" parts) or talent, is currently being heaped with undeserved praise by the Godless, white, mainstream press for "starring" in multimillion dollar movies (even tho no one goes to see a movie just because she's in it) due to the sole reason of having sex with both men and women in her personal life. It's what a liberal press with a Godless agenda likes to do: push non-talented "celebrities" whose personal lives are steeped with debauchery (see Tila Tequila, Snooki, Paris Hilton, et al) to the forefront and force them on the viewing public, all to normalize their behavior:

Michelle Rodriguez has been outside the hotel for only 90 seconds when she gets stopped on the street. "Uh, excuse me? Hi, I swear I'm not a crazy stalker," says a tall and impressively muscled black man on the crowded New York City sidewalk. "But I am your biggest fan." He holds up his phone for a picture. Rodriguez lifts her chin up. "Oh, hell yeah," she says, smiling. "C'mon, let's do it." She squeezes one of his massive biceps: "Yo, man, where'd you get these?" The fan's giddy grin stretches even wider, and his very patient girlfriend takes the picture.

In person Rodriguez is smaller than you'd think — barely 5'5″ in the flat-heeled black boots she's wearing on this sunny Saturday afternoon. You'd assume she'd loom larger. After all, she's forged a career playing tough-gal characters, from her astonishing 2000 debut as a boxer in the Sundance darling Girlfight to her roles in Lost, Avatar, the Fast & Furious franchise, and the upcoming Machete Kills (rated R, out Oct. 11).

She is arguably the most iconic actress in the action genre, as well as one of the most visible Latinas in Hollywood. She has also amassed some jaw-dropping box office: The cumulative global gross of her films is $5.2 billion. That Rodriguez, 35, is a delicate-boned beauty doesn't mean she's any less of a badass, of course. In her downtime she likes to race cars, fire guns, and jump out of planes. Even her lunch order is kinda out-there: salad, bone marrow, and chocolate cake.

But she's also unexpectedly sweet and warm. Her mind moves quickly, pinging brightly among topics: neurolinguistics, Hinduism, diversifying her financial portfolio (she recently invested in Twitter), and why she was disappointed by Million Dollar Baby ("I was excited to see it. I was like, 'Great, now we have a commercial version of Girlfight.' And I watch the movie and I'm like, 'F— you, f— you. Why does she have to die?!'") as well as by The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo ("Why does she have to get raped — raped! — before taking vengeance? Why do the stakes have to be so much higher for a woman than a man? You wouldn't do that to Pacino").

Rodriguez, needless to say, speaks her mind. She doesn't shy away from addressing her fraught early days in Hollywood ("I was loud, obnoxious, crazy") or even her sexuality. "I don't talk about what I do with my vagina, and they're all intrigued," she says of the media. "I've never walked the carpet with anyone, so they wonder: What does she do with her vagina? Plus, I play a butchy girl all the time, so they assume I'm a lesbo." When EW points out that that's not a fair assumption, Rodriguez laughs. "Eh, they're not too far off," she says. "I've gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f—ing curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks." She shrugs.

"She doesn't hold back," says James Cameron, who directed Rodriguez in Avatar. "There's no filter. She's a lot of fun to hang out with because you always know what she's thinking."

Clint Eastwood Warns Against Re-electing Barack Obama, Says The Future Of America Is "At Stake"

American Crossroads has a new ad out today, one that features a familiar face and voice — Clint Eastwood. Taking a distinctly more serious approach than his lighthearted, extemporaneous skit speech at the Republican Convention, Eastwood warns about rising dependence on China’s credit and the prospect of another four years of Barack Obama. America needs a turnaround artist, Eastwood says, and fortunately we have one at the ready: 

The reference to China will play well in Ohio and Pennsylvania, I’d bet — and I wouldn’t be surprised to see this ad go into heavy rotation in those states, as well as Virginia and New Hampshire. Eastwood’s iconic status may or may not impress Obama voters, but among older independents, Eastwood might be quite effective. It’s a smart move to roll this out in the final two weeks. 

Update: The New York Times reports that American Crossroads will run this in seven states — and that testing showed the ad to be very effective (via Michael Warren): 

After some testing, Crossroads found that potential audiences, who are often wary of celebrity endorsements, still appreciated Mr. Eastwood as an American icon and liked the idea of his appearance in the ad as long as it did not seem overdone. So while Mr. Eastwood narrates the entire ad, he appears on camera only at the very end. 

Mr. Eastwood, in an e-mailed statement, explained his motives. “I did the ad because I’m concerned for our country,” he said. “I really believe Mitt Romney is the kind of leader we need right now. He’s an experienced businessman, and he knows how to work with people to fix problems. It’s time to give someone else a chance to fix our country.” 

The ad starts running Wednesday in seven states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia. 

Not Pennsylvania, as I first thought — but that could change, too.

Despite the fact that in almost 4 years as President Brack Obama has done nothing to directly help Black people in this country, he and his lilly-white team of far-Left liberals know damn well and that as long as they keep playing the race card, blacks will come out in full force to support Barry for POTUS again next month.

That said, never let it be said that longtime, successful and talented actress Stacy Dash isn't courageous, as by coming out to express support for Mitt Romney this past weekend, she risked her career as well as the wrath of black liberals everywhere for daring to think different and prove that no, all blacks don't think the same, much less worship to Obama more than they do God himself:

Actress Stacey Dash, star of the hit '90s film "Clueless," took to Twitter over the weekend to announce that she is supporting Mitt Romney in the November election. 

Dash tweeted her Romney endrosement along with a sexy Americana-themed photo on Sunday. 

Many did not take too kindly to Dash's endorsement, with some bringing the 46-year-old's race into the issue. 

"You're an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You're voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot," tweeted one critic. "Wait stacey dash is voting for romney? you get a lil money and you forget that you're black and a woman. two things romney hates," tweeted another. "Still clueless," quipped another. 

The actress, who recently reunited with the "Clueless" cast, played Val on Season 1 of VH1's "Single Ladies." However, she did not return for Season 2, which premiered in May. 

The criticism did not seem to hurt Dash, who reminded everyone that she has a right to her own opinion. 

She then retweeted two messages from other users: One tweet was from a concerned fan: "ALL ROMNEY Supporters, please follow&support @REALStaceyDash, it appears she'll be voting for @MittRomney &she's getting some heat over it!" The other was from Mitt Romney himself: "Women have had enough of @BarackObama’s disappointment. We need new leadership to get our economy growing again." 

Dash's Romney endorsement caused some to scoff at the entire notion of celebrities getting political.

"Well, if you need me, I'll be in the fetal position vowing to never take anything any celebrity says seriously ever again," wrote Jezebel's Laura Beck. 

Dash's support for Romney is not the only endorsement to cause a stir recently. 

Back in September, Nicki Minaj incited buzz after some of her lyrics from Lil Wayne's Dedication 4 were leaked: "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b----es is f---ing up the economy." Many took this as Minaj endorsing Romney, but it was later revealed that she was just exhibiting "creative humor and sarcasm."

Clint Eastwood Says Barack Obama Is 'The Greatest Hoax Ever Perpetrated on the American People'

Conservatives everywhere should be in love with this man:

AFTER A week as topic No. 1 in American politics, former Carmel Mayor Clint Eastwood said the outpouring of criticism from left-wing reporters and liberal politicians after his appearance at the Republican National Convention last Thursday night, followed by an avalanche of support on Twitter and in the blogosphere, is all the proof anybody needs that his 12-minute discourse achieved exactly what he intended it to.


“President Obama is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people,” Eastwood told The Pine Cone this week. “Romney and Ryan would do a much better job running the country, and that’s what everybody needs to know. I may have irritated a lot of the lefties, but I was aiming for people in the middle.”

Breaking his silence


For five days after he thrilled or horrified the nation by talking to an empty chair representing Obama on the night Mitt Romney accepted the Republican nomination for president, Eastwood remained silent while pundits and critics debated whether his remarks, and the rambling way he made them, had helped or hurt Romney’s chances of winning in November.


But in a wide-ranging interview with The Pine Cone Tuesday from his home in Pebble Beach, he said he had conveyed the messages he wanted to convey, and that the spontaneous nature of his presentation was intentional, too.


“I had three points I wanted to make,” Eastwood said. “That not everybody in Hollywood is on the left, that Obama has broken a lot of the promises he made when he took office, and that the people should feel free to get rid of any politician who’s not doing a good job. But I didn’t make up my mind exactly what I was going to say until I said it.”


Eastwood’s appearance at the convention came after a personal request from Romney in August, soon after Eastwood endorsed the former Massachusetts governor at a fundraiser in Sun Valley, Idaho. But it was finalized only in the last week before the convention, along with an agreement to build suspense by keeping it secret until the last moment.


Meanwhile, Romney’s campaign aides asked for details about what Eastwood would say to the convention.


“They vett most of the people, but I told them, ‘You can’t do that with me, because I don’t know what I’m going to say,’” Eastwood recalled.


And while the Hollywood superstar has plenty of experience being adored by crowds, he said he hasn’t given a lot of speeches and admitted that, “I really don’t know how to.” He also hates using a teleprompter, so it was settled in his mind that when he spoke to the 10,000 people in the convention hall, and the millions more watching on television, he would do it extemporaneously.

“It was supposed to be a contrast with all the scripted speeches, because I’m Joe Citizen,” Eastwood said. “I’m a movie maker, but I have the same feelings as the average guy out there.”


Eastwood is a liberal on social issues such as gay marriage and abortion, but he has strongly conservative opinions about the colossal national debt that has accumulated while Obama has been president, his failure to get unemployment below 6 percent, and a host of other economic issues.


“Even people on the liberal side are starting to worry about going off a fiscal cliff,” Eastwood said.

Hollywood Finally Admits It Discriminates Against Conservatives

Better late than never and it look like the Gay Mafia in Hollywood is being forced to reverse the tide:

There's a familiar adage that recognizing you have a problem is the first step toward recovery. And Hollywood certainly has a problem with discrimination against conservatives.


As I detailed in my new book, "Primetime Propaganda," Hollywood insiders routinely discriminate against conservatives, believing them to be untalented hacks and political barbarians undeserving of a paycheck.


I spoke with top executives, writers, and producers in the industry who agreed that discrimination is common – and some even celebrated it.


But many in Hollywood continued to deny this truth. Marta Kauffman of "Friends" fame – whom I interviewed, and who told me that her writers room was made up of liberals – dismissed such criticisms were “silly.”


Patrick Goldstein of The Los Angeles Times said that such accusations were largely unsubstantiated, despite the tape I released.


Now, however, the worm is turning. Last week, for the first time, Hollywood openly acknowledged that it has a discrimination problem against conservatives.


As The Hollywood Reporter reported, the Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors, a major industry insider honor society, passed a resolution in the wake of revelations springing from my book.


The resolution amended the organization’s charter to stand against discrimination based on “political ideology.” It was approved unanimously; only a few weeks after the Caucus refused to pass such a resolution, claiming that it was a “non-partisan” organization and therefore could not stand against political discrimination.


What prompted the reversal?


Public pressure from the Caucus’ conservative members, who resigned from the Caucus after one of its top members, was caught on tape stating that he was happy conservatives are blacklisted in Hollywood. Lionel Chetwynd, multiple Emmy nominee and Oscar-nominated screenwriter of The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz, and Norman Powell, producer of 24 and former CBS Television executive, walked out of the Caucus.

Victoria Jackson Denounces Glee, ‘Liberal Agenda,’ Muslims, & Oral Sex STDs On HLN

Recently, former SNL cast member and Tea Party anthem singer Victoria Jackson was appalled that this week’s episode of Glee featured two gay characters locking lips. She took to the Internet, writing a blistering post on WorldNetDaily.com in which she called the kiss “sickening.” The folks at HLN read between the lines of that post and were able to translate it as “Someone please put me in front of television cameras right now!” and so Jackson appeared on Showbiz Tonight where she was asked about what she wrote. An great opportunity was missed, however, as the the question I’ve been wondering all day was never broached; Why the heck would someone who hates seeing gay stuff on TV be watching the latest episode of Glee?


While Brooke Anderson tried her hardest to keep the interview focused on Glee (this was Showbiz Tonight after all), Jackson had bigger fish to fry. She waved around and quoted from a Bible, talked about how the “Liberal agenda” was stealing the childhood innocence from our nation’s children, and wondered how the Left could support Muslims and gays when Muslims kill gays. Fortunately, she was able to answer her own question by pointing out that they both hate God. Oh, of course.


However, the most entertaining part of the segment came from the decision by the HLN producers to put Jackson in split screen and play the gay kiss over and over again right next to her, thus making her part of the gayest segment ever to air on television since Showtime’s last Queer as Folk marathon. Jackson, for her part, squeezed her eyes shut when Anderson said they were going to air the clip. That’s always a good sign that we’re about to see a super adult conversation.

Liberals will condemn and make fun of Jackson for her spiels, but remember these are the same people who take quacks like Rosie O'Donnell and Roseanne Barr seriously.

"We're not out to vilify or accuse or identify anybody as an enemy," Grammer told the wire service. "We're out there to encourage people to open their minds and take a look at some things that we as a group of people believe is the right direction for the country.” 

RightNetwork, which officially launched Wednesday, is trying to establish itself based off a video-on-demand service, internet, and mobile phone services - skipping over the traditional television medium. 

Some of the programming includes a show called Running, which follows Tea Party-backed candidates running for public office. There is also Right2Laugh, which will include stand up comedians like Evan Sayet and Kivi Rogers, and Poltics and Poker, where card players talk politics during card gameplay. 

"If you have NBC, ABC, you have entire networks flooded with a very particular point of view," Grammer said. "They won't admit it, but it's clearly the way it is. There's plenty of room for us."

He forgot to mention CBS, MTV, BET and all the host of other liberal networks bringing liberal terrorism to Americans everywhere. Needless to say this is sorely needed.

Veteran actor James Caan let people in on a little secret last week. After 46 successful years among Hollywood’s most outspoken liberal stars, he’s speaking up about breaking the mold.

“I'm an ultra conservative,” he said at Moet & Chandon’s 6th Annual Hollyshorts Film Festival Opening Night Celebration in Los Angeles.

“I'm not a G** damn Hollywood liberal, I'm not,” he said, adding he only watches Fox News.

Caan, who was at the event promoting his involvement with the online platform Openfilm.com, also added that he doesn’t think Hollywood actors need to comment on every single political issue. When Pop Tarts questioned him on California courts deeming Proposition 8, which bans same sex marriage, “unconstitutional,” he preferred to keep his lips sealed.

"I don't want to comment on that. I'll let those other geniuses do that – all those actors who like to find a stage to push their agendas,” he said. “They don't have political science degrees... I certainly don't. I'll leave it to Sean Penn or Barbara Streisand to comment on that."
