The Myths of Gay Icon Matthew Shepard’s Infamous Death Finally Exposed

Of course, conservatives like Ann Coulter and even Republican Congresswoman Virginia Foxx have long said publicly that Shepard's death had nothing to do with his lifestyle choice. And isn't it ironic that the guy writing a book and exposing the lies surrounding Shepard's death is gay himself? Makes you wonder when prominent conservatives worldwide finally have the guts to expose just how much Godless, white, social liberals are willing to go and lie to get their agenda passed:
Fifteen years after Matthew Shepard was tied to a fence and beaten to death in Wyoming, becoming a powerful symbol for the gay community's fight for hate crimes legislation, a new book claims the college student was murdered for “reasons far more complicated” than being homosexual.

Stephen Jimenez’s “The Book of Matt: Hidden Truths About the Murder of Matthew Shepard” claims a 13-year investigation — including trips to Laramie, Wyo., and interviews with more than 100 sources — contradicts police testimony and national consensus that the University of Wyoming freshman was targeted by Aaron McKinney and Russell Henderson in 1998 because he was gay.

“His aim was to write a screenplay on what he, and the rest of the nation, believed to be an open-and-shut case of bigoted violence,” reads a press release accompanying the 368-page book, which hits shelves Tuesday. “As a gay man, he felt an added moral imperative to tell Matthew’s story. But what Jimenez eventually found in Wyoming was a tangled web of secrets.”

Billed as a book sure to inspire dialogue, Jimenez claims his efforts to clearly explain the “misunderstood” crime led him to twenty states and Washington, D.C., as well as into the “deadly underworld of drug trafficking,” according to the press release.

“Who was the real Matthew Shepard and what were the true circumstances of his brutal murder? And now that he was larger than life, did anyone care?”

Shepard, 21, died five days after the gruesome attack. He was pistol-whipped into a coma while tied to a fence outside the small college town. His death, which quickly became synonymous with anti-gay hate in America, inspired several films, a play and federal hate-crime legislation signed by President Obama in 2009.
Jimenez, a veteran journalist, producer and graduate of Georgetown University, defended the book and his "rigorous journalistic standards" when contacted by FoxNews.com on Friday.

"I applied rigorous journalistic standards to the reporting and writing of this book, relying on sources ranging from those in the legal system and law enforcement to those who knew Matthew Shepard and the perpetrators personally," Jimenez's statement read. "Principal among them were the Shepard prosecutor, Cal Rerucha, who won double life sentences for the perpetrators; lead homicide detective Ben Fritzen; former police officer and drug investigator Flint Waters; and numerous other law enforcement officials from several agencies. I have also included a number of new sources in the book, who are speaking on the record for the first time."

Jimenez told The Dish he discovered a key piece of the puzzle in the form of an anonymous letter in formerly-sealed court documents.

“Basically the letter was saying that the defense raised by Aaron McKinney's defense team of 'gay panic' was false and the evidence that was cited for that was that Aaron McKinney had been a male hustler, that he was familiar with gay guys in gay bars,” Jimenez told the website. “It mentioned at first both Aaron and Russell, but as the letter went on it spoke more about Aaron, mentioning that he really did like having sex with gay guys, that he wasn't unfamiliar with homosexuality and the gay world.”

The Matthew Shepard Foundation, meanwhile, has blasted Jimenez’s take, characterizing the book as an attempt to rewrite history.

Liberal "Glee" Actress Dianna Agron Apologizes For Risque GQ Photo Shoot

When even Katie Couric is complaining about your highly publicized sexualized photo shoot because her kids watch the show, you know there's a problem:
Speaking only for herself, actress Dianna Agron said she's sorry about some aspects of GQ's recent racy "Glee" spread.

"If you are hurt or these photos make you uncomfortable, it was never our intention," Agron wrote on her Tumblr blog, noting that "Glee" is not the first pop phenomenon to push this particular envelope.

"And if your eight-year-old has a copy of our GQ cover in hand, again I am sorry," she said. "But I would have to ask, how on earth did it get there?"

Agron, whose cheerleader character, Quinn, closed out the first season by giving birth in scenes intercut with a group performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody," admitted that the show's rooting-for-the-underdog sensibility wasn't echoed in the GQ photos and noted that although the concept of the shoot wasn't her favorite idea, she "didn't walk away."

The Parents Television Council, in a statement from president Tim Winter, criticized the cover and spread Wednesday for hypersexualizing actresses who play high-school age students, saying the shoot with a high school backdrop "borders on pedophilia."
It's an increasingly growing phenonemon in Hollyweird: Girls Gone Wild wannabee porn stars with no morals or values posing as "professional actresses".

Morally Bankrupt Singer Katy Perry Gets Banned From "Sesame Street" After Showing Too Much Cleavage

Katy Perry, the daughter of two ministers whose made herself into a pop sensation by soaking in the cesspool that is today's Porn Generation (two years ago she authored the hit single "I Kissed A Girl (And I Liked It)" and now she's engaged to D-list comedian/former drug addict/noted womanizer Russell Brand) is now causing controversy with her breasts, getting herself banned from "Sesame Street" of all places:
Katy Perry's boobs are kind of her trademark. She knows it, we know it, hell, her boobs probably even know it. So no one should have been surprised when she appeared on "Sesame Street" with her jigglies on full display. But people were surprised. Some were even mad. Parents, it seems, didn't like Katy's copious cleavage. They thought it inappropriate to show toddlers part of the same body part that provides them essential nourishment. Welcome to the United States of Prude-merica.

Anyway, after parents got pissed, "Sesame Street" got scared and cancelled its plans to show the clip during a New Year's episode. Sorry kids, no boobs for you. On the plus side though, you still get Elmo, who, you may notice, doesn't wear any pants.

Rapist Kelsey Peterson Appears In Court

Not so shocking if you've been paying attention:

EL CENTRO, Calif. (AP) — A Nebraska middle school teacher accused of running away to Mexico with a 13-year-old to have sex with him appeared in court Monday to face criminal charges.

Kelsey Peterson said nothing as charges that she crossed the border to have sex with a minor were read by U.S. Magistrate Judge Peter Lewis. The judge scheduled a hearing for Wednesday to ask whether Peterson would waive extradition to Nebraska.

Peterson's court-appointed attorney, Diane Regan, declined to comment after the court appearance.

Peterson, 25, was a sixth-grade math teacher and basketball coach at Lexington Middle School, and the boy was once her student.

The subject of a weeklong search, Peterson was taken into custody Friday in Mexicali, Mexico, after the boy's relatives told police he had called home asking for money. She was turned over to FBI agents early Saturday and is being held at the Imperial County jail in El Centro, about 120 miles east of San Diego.

Authorities in Mexico said the boy told police of vague but romantic plans with Peterson to scrap normal teenage life for a life of hiding in southern or central Mexico. Investigators have said they have recovered e-mails and letters in which they both express affection.

Peterson is charged in Nebraska with kidnapping, child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

You see, female teachers raping male students is literally a growing epidemic, but the liberal press little to say about it. No studies. No special reports. Nothing. And why is that? Could it be because the idea of female rapists challenges the stereotypes of women as victims not perpetrators? Most likely. And what about the lenient sentences given to these female rapists? Can you imagine a male teacher having sex with a student and getting off with virtually Scot-free as we saw in the more recent cases of Debra LaFave and say, Joan Marie Sladky? But liberals will argue that "it's different" for the Kelsey Peterson's of the world because women can't rape men, coolly ignoring the fact that in Peterson's case the victim wasn't a man, but a 13-year-old boy. But for liberals it's never about the child, is it.

Maryland County To Allow Transgenered Men In Women's Bathrooms

The city of Montgomery County, Maryland
is about to consider banning discrimination based on "gender identity." Among other things, it would become illegal to deny transgendered persons their choice of whether to use the men's or the women's public restroom:
Council lawmakers in Maryland's Montgomery County are considering a proposal to give transgendered people protected status under law, and a local citizen's group is pledging to try to stop it, contending that, among other things, it would allow transgender men to use showers, lockers, and restrooms used by women and girls. Bill 23-07 would add "gender identity" to the county's existing non-discrimination laws, if passed by the Montgomery County Council at its upcoming Nov. 13 meeting.

Michelle Turner, director of Citizens for a Responsible Curriculum (CRC), a parent's group in Rockville, Md., said the bill would basically allow males to have open access to women's restrooms. "I am dumbfounded," Turner told Cybercast News Service. "They are saying, 'If you are a man but you feel like a woman, then even if you still have male genitalia, you would have access to restrooms and locker rooms and showers used by women and girls."
So remember ladies, screw your privacy and safety (like the the risk of sexual predators invading your bathroom), after all this is about "progress", not you.

Moms Against Skanky Bratz Dolls

Good to know that some mothers out there are doing what they can to make sure their daughters don't ever have to look to Britney, Lindsay or Paris for role models:
Moms are hunting through toy aisles for more wholesome-looking dolls, concerned that the scantily clad Bratz dolls with their Party Palace and Magic Make-up Studio are sending their daughters the wrong message about how they should dress and act.

With their heavily made-up faces, short shorts and halter tops, Bratz are the No. 2 best-selling dolls in the country, just behind Barbie, but creeping up on her with their own lines of clothing, school supplies, video games and, most recently, a live-action movie playing in theaters.

Moms are not happy about it.

"I don't want my daughter viewing herself that way," says Gloria Baca of Tempe, who has steered her daughter, now 10, away from Barbie and Bratz in favor of an American Girl doll by Mattel named Josefina. Discerning moms are buying dolls that are hip-looking but without the fishnet stockings and crop tops. And they're finding a growing number of more-wholesome dolls to choose from.

"There is definitely a backlash against this girls-gone-wild syndrome. Parents are asking, 'Do I really want this for my daughter?' " says Len Simonian, whose award-winning line of preteen fashion dolls, Only Hearts Club, actually looks like girls and does the things that girls do - dance (not on a platform in a Party Palace), ride horses, have sleepovers and take care of pets.

In a survey of 1,010 mothers with daughters ages 4 to 9 that was released last month by Synovate, a market-research firm, 85 percent of moms said they are "tired of the sexpot dolls and characters" in stores.

Death To Pornographers In Iran

Iranian actress Zahra Amir Ebrahimi

Nice to see martial law back in full effect:

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) -- Iran's parliament on Wednesday voted in favor of a bill that could lead to the death penalty for persons convicted of working in the production of pornographic movies.

With a 148-5 vote in favor and four abstentions, lawmakers present at the Wednesday session of the 290-seat parliament approved that "producers of pornographic works and main elements in their production are considered corrupter of the world and could be sentenced to punishment as corrupter of the world."

The term, "corrupter of the world" is taken from the Quran, the Muslims' holy book, and ranks among the highest on the scale of an individual's criminal offenses. Under Iran's Islamic Penal Code, it carries a death penalty.

The "main elements" referred to in the draft include producers, directors, cameramen and actors involved in making a pornographic video.

The bill also envisages convictions ranging from one year imprisonment to a death sentence for the main distributors of the movies and also producers of Web sites in which the pornographic works appear.

Every country has a different way of treating pornography but this beyond extreme. And while it’s banned in India, interestingly enough there was talk in the US of putting a sin tax on pornography. Utah did this in 2004 and in July 2005 Kansas State legislators were interested in imposing a 25% tax on such products/services, but I don't believe that anything came of it.

Another Evil Woman Kills Her Kids

She was upset about her divorce so she takes her kids down with her:

HUDSON OAKS, Texas - Inside her rural, locked home, Gilberta Estrada apparently fashioned nooses for each of her four young children using clothing and sashes.

Then, after each of them was dangling, authorities believe she made one for herself, leaned in, buckled her knees and died.

Her panicked sister, Alejandra Estrada, discovered the bodies Tuesday, after she forced her way into the trailer home when the woman’s boss called to say she hadn’t shown up for work. Pulling back a sheet covering a large closet, she saw the mother and three of the children dead.

The only survivor was an 8-month-old baby, saved by her aunt when she made a noise in her tiny noose, made out of a sweater. She called 911 and said through sobs that the baby was dying — then called back twice more to tell the ambulance to hurry, according to a tape of the calls.

First of all, thank goodness, the youngest child was able to survive this horrific crime. Shocking at it may be that of all the kids the baby would survive this mayhem, you can hope that she survives to live a healthy and productive life while at the same being too young to remember what happened to her sisters. Secondly, while Gilberta Estrada was obviously a lunatic, thank goodness she had the wherewithal to kill herself too. I say this because if Estrada hadn't killed herself, there's a good chance she would've easily gotten away with murdering her own children. Because the feminists and leftwing nutcases, who never care about the children, would've been all over a crime getting as much publicity as this one, looking to "protect" Ms. Estrada by hiring a liberal lawyer, then going to court all guns a blazin' claiming that Ms. Estrada was a "victim" of postpartum depression and therefore shouldn't have to serve a day in jail so she can one day kill again. You've seen it before in cases like this, this and this--mothers getting away with murdering their own kids thanks to feminist/liberal organizations working hand-in-hand with leftwing lawyers and stupid courts. Because for them, it's never about the kids, it's about the woman at all costs, no matter how savage the deed.

Another Killer Nanny

I'm long past tired of reading stories like this.

From DailyNews.com:

"Monster" nanny Noella Allick, jailed for allegedly shaking a Manhattan newborn and leaving her with brain damage, will soon be charged with breaking another infant's bones, the Daily News has learned.

Allick will be formally accused of injuring the Nassau County baby shortly after the girl's April birth.

The injuries - a fractured arm, leg and collarbone, and two broken ribs - were discovered at a routine doctor's visit in mid-June.

The nanny is soon expected to be taken from Rikers Island to a Nassau County courtroom to be arraigned on second-degree assault punishable by up to seven years in prison, according to the Nassau County district attorney's office.

"There are two stages in life where people are the most vulnerable: when they are newborns, and extremely frail and elderly," said top prosecutor Joy Watson, chief of the Sex Offense and Domestic Violence Bureau. "People who commit crimes against these two groups are the most heinous."

So it's not enough that children have to worry about strangers or sexual predators, or getting good grades, or peer pressure, etc., add to the list of worries violent women entrusted to take care of them. And while it's easy to point the blame at illegal immigrants and a judicial system that keeps finding excuses to allow these women to do very little jail time, more blame needs to be pointed at parents as well.

Ask parents and they'll talk about the cost of childcare, lack of a family friendly workplace or in the case of single, working mothers . . . having to do everything on their own. But none of that excuses the fact that parents themselves need to make serious improvements concerning who they leave their child alone with on a regular basis.

The case of killer nannies has reached epidemic proportions what with parents failing to do proper background checks on their caregiver, people like Allick calling themselves "nurses" without even having a nursing license and child complaints not being taken seriously.

Stories about home-alone children and killer nannies are proof that parents can no longer be trusted. And that should serve as a starting point for new family policies which set out to hold parents to stricter standards, including being arrested for criminal negligence when you leave your child with a woman with a record of abusing children in the past.
