Stupid, Race-Baiting, MSNBC Host Melissa Harris-Perry Says “ObamaCare” Was a Word Coined by Wealthy White Men to Diminish Obama’s Accomplishments

Right. And "Bush Tax Cuts" and "RomneyCare" were terms coined by poor, black people to diminish George W. Bush and Mitt Romney's accomplishments. In other words, Melissa Harris-Perry is a total idiot:
Via RCP. By coincidence, Charles Cooke has a piece out today on the alternate universe you too can inhabit if only you Lean Forward far enough:
America II, as anyone who watches the channel will discover rather swiftly, hosts a supermajority of well-meaning multi-culti, progressive types whose foolproof plans for explosive economic growth, uniform social justice, and general human utopia are constantly being undone by a blossoming white-supremacist movement, split apart by neo-secessionists, and existentially threatened by traitors whose defining characteristic is a never-quite-explained hatred for progress. America II features no gray areas whatsoever: All local variation is apartheid, each and every identification requirement is the second coming of Jim Crow, all criticism of the government is sedition. It’s exhausting.
On a network where smirking references to “teabaggers” are treated as witty, Harris-Perry’s attempt to rehabilitate “ObamaCare” as some sort of slur practically qualifies as clever. How to square the fact that O himself now uses the term with the quasi-religious belief that any Republican messaging about him, no matter how innocuous and easily explained by basic partisanship, must be proof of racism in America II? Simple: Claim that “ObamaCare” was a slur, but now, by embracing the word himself, Obama’s taken the power back. If you find that unpersuasive, remember, decoding conservative criticism of O for alleged racial subtexts is a sort of parlor game on MSNBC. Previously identified dog-whistles include “IRS,” “Chicago,” and my favorite, “golf.” Usually the game ends with some variation of “and that’s why it’s racist,” but MHP’s argument has a whole second part to it. Consider this bar raised.

Legal Insurrection has a nice post tracking the origins of the word “ObamaCare,” including a claim from none other than Anthony Weiner that he coined the term himself. Which, if true, partially vindicates Harris-Perry: A wealthy white man really is responsible. By the way, as I write this, there are roughly 575,000 results for “RomneyCare” on Google. On this site alone, that word appears in more than 250 posts.

Anthony Weiner Blames Internet For NYC Mayoral Race

What an idiot:
In an interview with GQ magazine former Congressman and NYC Mayoral Candidate Anthony Weiner is blaming his pathetic loss last month, where he raked in less than 5 percent of the vote, on the internet.
The “if” is far bigger than Anthony Weiner’s dangerous appetite for sexting, but the failed mayoral candidate says he’d be mayor if it weren’t for the Internet.
“Maybe if the Internet didn’t exist? Like, if I was running in 1955? I’d probably get elected mayor,” Weiner said, wishing it were the era of Robert Wagner Jr. in an interview for GQ magazine’s November issue.
First off, thanks to the internet, Weiner didn't have to run around the streets in a trench coat flashing women, instead he did it from the comfort of his own home surrounded by cats. Second, why GQ would decide to do a profile feature on Anthony Weiner, who is neither GQ material nor a gentleman, is beyond me. Here is their explaination:
In the November GQ, Marshall Sella profiles Anthony Weiner, following him during his campaign for mayor of New York. Weiner opens up about his sexting (“I just didn’t think of it all as a capital offense,” he says. “And I rationalized it. I thought, ‘This person’s my friend. Why would they turn on me?’); going on to admit that he might not “have the greatest connection with the emotional sh*t going on.”
Weiner also discusses the state of his marriage with wife (and Hillary Clinton aide), Huma Abedin, saying he is pained that she’s become known as “the Woman Who Married an Idiot and Stuck with Him.” “More of it rolls off my back,” he tells GQ, “because that’s the way I am constitutionally. [Huma]’s more sensitive. I’m just an empty, soulless vessel, so it doesn’t hurt me as much.”

Even Liberal Radio Host Bill Press Knows That Lawrence O'Donnell Is An 'A-Hole'

Mediaite.com:
Liberal radio host Bill Press blasted MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell on Tuesday morning in the wake of his contentious interview with New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner. Press said that O’Donnell’s questions, as well as the booking itself, made no sense. He added that O’Donnell behaved like an “a-hole” during his prime time probing of Weiner.

“What is wrong with you?” O’Donnell asked Weiner on Monday night. “What is wrong with you that you cannot seem to imagine a life without elected office?”

“I think Lawrence O’Donnell proved to be a real a-hole with that question,” Press said after playing a portion of Monday night’s interview on his radio program.

“Why even book Anthony Weiner? Everybody knows he’s a joke. Everybody knows he’s not going to win,” Press continued.

He added that the question he posed to Weiner could be asked of virtually every politician who cycles in and out of elective office, including Hillary Clinton

“Lawrence O’Donnell, shame on you,” Press concluded.

Anthony Weiner Should Stay In NYC Mayoral Race And Win It

Funny that socially liberal New York City and its holier-than-thou liberal media (that cheered in unison at the passage of "gay marriage" in the state not too long ago), would blast Anthony Weiner for daring to stay in the mayoral race, all because of his latest sexting scandal became public. A "morally flawed" man running for mayor? Bad. But the destruction of traditional marriage? Good. Here's hoping Weiner not only stays in the race, but wins:
Happy National Hot Dog Day, everyone!

Yup… in a story to end all stories when it comes to those that writers say practically write themselves…Anthony Weiner admits on a day named in honor of wieners everywhere that more cheesy, sketchy, lewd photos and messages starring the legendary Carlos Danger (Weiner’s Twitter handle) really should be of no surprise to anyone. After all, he warned us back in April that this day was bound to come, right?

Still, give Weiner credit for coming up with perhaps the greatest code name, like ever. Know this: Every single guy—particularly those I know who will be out at the Parker House or Leggett’s at the Jersey Shore this weekend—is absolutely thanking Weiner for the nickname…because when you’re a player who introduces himself as Carlos Danger, the chance for romance automatically goes up tenfold.

So is this the end for Weiner’s political ambitions? The media certainly doesn’t hope so. Between Eliot Spitzer—the guy who paid obscene amounts of money for the professional services of a former Parker House regular named Ashley Duprerunning to become Comptroller of New York, and Weiner looking to be in charge of arguably the greatest city in the world, it certainly beats having to report on about pesky items such as budgets, taxes and security with those boring no-name candidates doing all the talking.

But can Weiner still win? You’re kidding, right? The way it works these days, his poll numbers will jump 5-7 points as a result of this latest revelation. The thought process from Weiner supporters is the following: If his wife–who must really, really want to be First Lady of New York–can continually forgive him, why shouldn’t they?

At last check, both Spitzer and Weiner were leading their respective races and showed no signs of relinquishing those leads. But now that today’s news is out…Weiner might as well start measuring the drapes at Gracie Mansion right now.

And the media—local and national—wouldn’t have it any other way. This is certainly another easy story to talk about in the world of cable news. Here’s how it works: A producer books one guest who finds Weiner’s actions deplorable and yearns for the good old days when politicians didn’t engage in such behavior. Of course, that time has never actually existed… the only reason why it seems this stuff happens more now is because of sites like The Dirty.com—the fine folks who broke the newest Weiner story—didn’t exist back in the day. All one had to worry about was Woodward and Bernstein. That said, could you imagine JFK even surviving five minutes in a TMZ kind-of-world?

Anyway, once a producer has guest #1 in place…it’s off to find a foil, likely a political strategist, who can fill the role as the “as long as he can do the job, his private life is private” advocate. Evoke Bill Clinton, claim this kind of behavior happens all the time, and bam…you’ve got yourself a compelling segment to run with for the next three days.

Never mind, of course, that Weiner engaged in this behavior even well after going through the humiliation of resigning from Congress. Add it all up, and it appears to say that the 48-year-old didn’t really care much that he lost his job, his dignity, the trust of his wife, after getting caught the first time. Because there he was—right back at it more than a year since leaving Capitol Hill…

National Hot Dog Day has been celebrated since 1972.

Anthony Weiner could send out 100 hundred more photos and sexts to girls half his age from now to November.

And guess what?

He’ll still be celebrated in the streets of New York and throughout news rooms across the city when he becomes its next Mayor come Election Day.

Anthony Weiner.

The deeply flawed story that keeps writing itself.

New Poll Shows Anthony Weiner Leading in Race for New York City Mayor

I really don't get what the big deal is about Anthony Weiner possibly being the next mayor of New York City. NYC is a notoriously liberal town and before his sexting scandal, Weiner was as staunchly liberal a pol as they come. Sure, Weiner did something majorly stupid that almost ruined his political career, but unlike a certain former Democrat POTUS, he didn't repeatedly cheat on his wife and lie about it:. As long as Weiner stays true to his politics I don't see why he can't be the next mayor of NYC...tho, interestingly enough it has been awhile since liberal NYC has elected a Democrat mayor:
Democratic mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner has surged ahead of his opponents in a new NBC 4 New York/Wall Street Journal poll, transforming himself in just a few weeks from disgraced has-been to mayoral front-runner.

Weiner, who entered the race two years after resigning his congressional seat amid a sexting scandal, now leads City Council Speaker Christine Quinn in the crowded Democratic primary, setting up a new phase in what could end up being a remarkable political comeback.

Weiner leads Quinn 25 percent to 20 percent among registered Democrats, the poll by Marist found. That's a flip-flop from the last survey in May, when Quinn, the longtime front-runner, led Weiner 24 percent to 19 percent.

Just as telling is the number of registered New York voters who said they might vote for Weiner. Forty-nine percent said they’d consider it, up from 40 percent two months ago, before Weiner entered the race. Those who said they wouldn’t consider voting for him dropped from 52 percent to 45 percent.

The next closest contender in the Democratic primary is former Comptroller Bill Thompson, with 13 percent of registered Democrats saying they'd vote for him, up 2 percentage points from May. Public Advocate Bill de Blasio follows with 10 percent, who dropped 2 points. Then comes current Comptroller John Liu at 8 percent, Staten Island minister Erick Salgado at 2 percent and former City Councilman Sal Albanese at 1 percent.

With potential votes spread out over so many candidates, and turnout in the Sept. 10 primary expected to be relatively low, the race remains statistically wide open. Many Democrats — 18 percent — remain undecided, and 61 percent who have a choice indicated that they weren’t firmly committed to it.

But Weiner appears to be enjoying the clearest advantage so far. His early campaigning, in which he’s portrayed himself as a middle class guy from Brooklyn, has included frequent apologies about his misdeeds.

That seems to have made him more acceptable to New York voters, said Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion.

"The race changed when he got into the race, and he’s been able to survive returning to electoral politics, at least to this point," Miringoff said.

At the same time, Quinn, who holds the most powerful office of the candidates, has suffered an erosion of support: 57 percent of Democrats polled they had a good impression of her, down from 60 percent in May, the poll shows. Meanwhile, her negative rating has inched upward, from 26 percent in May to 29 percent now.

Voter Frustration With Barack Obama Leads To GOP Win For Anthony Weiner's Old Senate Seat

Liberals can continue to spin the failures of the Obama administration all they want because no one's buying their BS. I mean when a Republican wins an election in a heavily Democratic district like Bob Turner just did tonight (the first time a Republican won in that district was in the 1920's) it's a clear sign that people are long past fed up with Obama and this economy:
With the outcome of his own reelection effort 14 difficult months away, President Obama suffered a sharp rebuke Tuesday when voters in New York elected a conservative Republican to represent a Democratic district that has not been in GOP hands since the 1920s.

Bob Turner, the winner, cast the election as a referendum on Obama’s stewardship of the economy and, in the state’s Ninth Congressional District, which has a large population of Orthodox Jewish voters, the president’s position on Israel.

With 75 percent of the precincts reporting at press time, Turner had a commanding lead, with 53 percent of the vote, compared with 47 percent for Weprin.

Turner, 70, a retired cable TV executive who has never served in elective office, defeated Democratic State Assemblyman David Weprin, 55, who has two decades of experience in public service, to fill the seat left vacant when Anthony Weiner (D) resigned in disgrace in June after more than 12 years in the House.

The defeat came as Republicans trounced Democrats in another special House election Tuesday, in northern Nevada, where Republican Mark Amodei led Democrat Kate Marshall, 56 percent to 39 percent almost from the start.

In both contests, the GOP pulled ahead by linking the Democratic candidate to Obama and his handling of the economy. Both Republican contenders urged voters to “send a message” to the president.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus Is An Idiot

Following in the steps of idiots like Michael Steele and Ken Mehlman, new RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is proving that a lack of brain cells is all it takes to be the spokesman of the GOP. While everyone on the planet thinks that the longer Anthony Weiner hangs in there and refuses to resign his position as congressman is a huge plus for Republicans, Priebus is the sole yahoo begging for Weiner to exit stage left. Then too, instead of hanging back and laying low (esp. when your own party has a sitting (and married) congressman who used to dally with prostitutes), Priebus wants to make the news rounds and exploit the Democratic sex scandal for his party's gain. As Joe Scarborough points out this strategy is nothing but an utter fail:
On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough previously shared his hesitancy to cover the Anthony Weiner scandal at all until it had real political developments. Now that the Democratic leadership in the House is calling for Weiner’s resignation, Scarborough is ready to discuss the topic, but is not pleased that Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is attempting to exploit the controversy for his party’s political gain.

The panel discussed a Meet the Press appearance by Priebus and DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz where Priebus attacked Democrats for not showing leadership and for spending many days trying to protect Weiner’s job. Scarborough responded to the exchange suggesting Priebus should “back off,” because he is sick of seeing the leaders of one political party always attempt to exploit the scandals of their opponents:

“It’s just stupid. Seriously, just shut up. You know what, that’s what I hate about the coverage of these scandals. . . . That was a stupid exchange over the weekend, especially when you had Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, all of them saying [to Weiner] ‘get out.’”

Scarborough’s co-host Mika Brzezinski agreed:

“This is for the Democratic party to deal with, it’s obviously sad, it’s obviously going downhill. Wouldn’t you, if you were a Republican leader right now, just back off and let that train keep going?”

Scarborough was impressed with how quickly and aggressively the Democratic leadership moved against Weiner and later in the segment maintained that he thought Priebus’ “cheap shot” was a “desperate plea.”

Democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner To Take Leave of Absence Amid Calls to Resign

CNN.com:
U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who has been under fire after admitting to inappropriate communications with women online, has decided to seek treatment "to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person," his spokeswoman said Saturday.

While the New York congressman seeks treatment at an undisclosed location, he will take a "short leave of absence" from Congress, Risa Heller said in a statement.

A Democratic source, familiar with conversations among Weiner and Democratic leadership about his fate, did not know what specific type of treatment Weiner would undergo.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and the chairmen of the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee called for Weiner to step down in separate statements earlier Saturday.

The congressman has resisted calls to resign.

"Congressman Weiner has the love of his family, the confidence of his constituents and the recognition that he needs help. I urge Congressman Weiner to seek that help without the pressures of being a member of Congress," Pelosi said.

DCCC Chair Steve Israel also wished Weiner well in his personal life, but said that the scandal has "become an insurmountable distraction" to the House.

"The behavior he has exhibited is indefensible and Representative Weiner's continued service in Congress is untenable," DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said, also calling it a distraction.

According to the Democratic source, leaders decided it was time to tell Weiner to resign because they "don't want to go into a third week with a story that brings disgrace on the House and not talk about our agenda."

This same source said Weiner responded that he doesn't want to make a decision until his wife, Huma Abedin, returns from a trip. Abedin, a senior aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is traveling with her in Africa and is scheduled to return early Thursday.

"Congressman Weiner takes the views of his colleagues very seriously and has determined that he needs this time to get healthy and make the best decision possible for himself, his family and his constituents," Heller said.

The statements come as Delaware authorities are investigating contact between a local teen and Weiner.

"Detectives were made aware of alleged contact between Congressman Anthony Weiner and an area teen," New Castle County Police said in a statement. "Detectives have conducted an interview with the teen and she has made no disclosure of criminal activity nor inappropriate contact by the congressman."

Weiner's spokeswoman said the interaction with the Delaware teen was not inappropriate.

"According to Congressman Weiner, his communications with this person were neither explicit nor indecent," Heller said.
Honestly, I don't blame Weiner for not resigning esp. when you got David Vitter still out there, Weiner (so far) hasn't broken any laws and at the end of the day it should be left up his constituents to decide his fate. Bill Clinton got impeached, and rightfully so, because he lied under oath, not because he was morally corrupt. Anthony Weiner is a far-Left loon, so no one should be surprised by this drama because liberals don't have values to begin. But considering how much being a politician means to Weiner, no surprise here that he decides to lay low and hope this scandal either plays itself out or gets put to the background once the next scandal arrives. Then too, the only reason Pelosi and Co. are coming out talking for Weiner to resign is because they know how much this whole sex scandal hurts a party most Americans just don't have that much faith in anymore.

Rep. Anthony Weiner Admits In Press Conference He Lied All Along But Vows ‘I Am Not Resigning’

Proof once again that liberals don't have values to begin with. Of course, the irony here is how cocky, arrogant and self-righteous this lying loon was with conservatives, Now all he can do nothing is cry and hang his head in shame. And yes, let Andrew Breitbart's victory march begin:
Today another unpredictable chapter was added to the expanding Weinergate story, as just a few hours ago conservative journalist Andrew Breitbart and his website Big Government unveiled brand new, shirtless photos of Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner that were allegedly sent by Weiner to an unidentified female. Weiner wasted no time responding to these new photos by announcing a press conference, but oddly Breitbart himself appeared in the room and took the podium first.

Breitbart stole the spotlight at first, answering questions from members of the press and said “I’d like an apology from [Weiner]” and “I want to hear the truth.” Then Breitbart joked that “I’ve seen a lot of this Congressman’s body” and that “he’s in very good shape.” And finally, Breitbart suggested he is holding back one explicit photo in order to protect Weiner’s family.

Nearly twenty minutes later Weiner finally appeared and addressed all of the questions. Weiner shockingly admitted “I have made terrible mistakes” and that he lied about his Twitter account being hacked. Weiner confirmed that the pictures were in fact of him, and that he has exchanged pictures of himself with six women over the past few years. However, he stressed that he never had physical relationships with these women and that he never even met them. Some of the exchanges continued to take place after his marriage. Weiner emphasized that “I’m so sorry” and “I haven’t told the truth and I’ve done things I deeply regret.” Before taking many questions from reporters, Weiner reiterated that he apologized to his wife, that he is “deeply ashamed of my terrible judgment and actions” and finally that “I am not resigning.”

Prior to the press conference, questions were swirling whether Weiner could survive this controversy and for how long, or whether Weiner might even announce his resignation. Many believed Weiner hurt himself last week with his decision to conduct a round of interviews that breathed new life into the controversy as he was unable to definitely declare whether or not the man in the Twitter underwear picture was actually him. How today’s decision to come clean about everything will impact his public image remains to be seen.

Married Democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner Befriended Porn Star On Twitter

We all know that liberal Democrats could care less about the sanctity of marriage, but considering that she just exchanged vows with the man less than a year ago and the embarrassment she must be dealing with all this brouhaha going in, wouldn't be nice if Anthony Weiner's wife said 'enough's enough', stood up for herself (and women everywhere) and left her creepy husband? I'm just saying:
New York Congressman Anthony Weiner finds himself in a growing pickle --- a porn star has now inserted herself into his sex scandal.

A scan of the Twitter timeline of porn starlet Ginger Lee -- whose resume includes such titles as Monster Meat 12, Swallow My Pride 9 and Stuffin' Young Muffins 5 -- suggests a connection to the embattled politician.

On March 1, Lee tweeted, "I want to have sexual relations with Anthony Weiner."

Less than two weeks later, on March 13, she tweeted that "you know it's a good day when you wake up to a [direct message] from @RepWeiner."

Last month, the porn starlet tweeted she'd come down with a case of "Weinermania!" and drew a heart on a picture of the politician with the funny caption, "You're the only Weiner I need."

Then, on May 27, she tweeted "Whoa. I get a dose of Anthony Weiner live before I go to work tonight. Weiner before work, me likey."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the online drama began last Friday when a lewd crotch shot image of a man in tight fitting briefs appeared in Weiner’s Twitter stream addressed to 21-year-old college student Gennette Cordova, but visible to all 40,000 of his Twitter followers.

The 46-year-old Weiner, who is married to Hilary Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin, was incensed when questioned by reporters about the scandal, and is claiming that his Twitter account was hacked into.

Megyn Kelly: Is Anthony Weiner Aiding Efforts To Have Justice Clarence Thomas Disbarred?

Mediaite.com:
Megyn Kelly discussed reports that Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner is leading a charge to have Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas disbarred for perjury and investigated for allegations of bribery. Weiner has passionately argued before for Thomas to recuse himself for cases on healthcare reform because of an alleged bias, and now if these reports are true, Weiner is intensifying the fight.

Kelly interviewed Supreme Court expert Tom Goldstein regarding the unprecedented potential action against Thomas. Goldstein agreed judicial integrity is important, but dismissed the complaints against Thomas as “pretty stupid” and “baseless accusations” that treat Supreme Court justices a political actors. Even if Thomas made a mistake on some forms not disclosing facts about his wife, Goldstein argued despite being a serious error, it’s not one that calls into question Thomas’ legitimacy as a judge. Accordingly, Goldstein predicted that even the liberal Supreme Court justices would rally to Thomas’ defense.

Anthony Weiner is a whiny little prick with a serious Napolean complex. Conservatives should love the idea that he's trying to take down a Supreme Court justice--just the kind of thing we need to rally the base and piss off most independents a well.

Megyn Kelly And Anthony Weiner Engage In Shouting Match Over Clarence Thomas

I swear Anthony Weiner reminds me that kid who got picked last in pickup games growing up so he gets revenge by taking the ball away and running home with it so then no one can play:
Today Megyn Kelly welcomed Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner back to her show, and fans of their last heated exchange who were hoping for some more fireworks between the two were not at all disappointed. Weiner adamantly believed that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas should recuse himself from hearing a case on the constitutionality of healthcare reform due to the financial interests of his wife that give off the appearance of bias. When Kelly began to dispute whether that was legally necessary Weiner began to get agitated.

Weiner frequently appears on Fox News and his detractors might claim he just as frequently ends up yelling to make his point or looking frustrated when not given enough time. Here he questions whether Kelly knows the definition of an “interview” while also discussing the differences between facts and opinion and disputing Fox’s “coverage” of any issue. Kelly humorously asks when is it her turn to speak? By the end of the conversation who even knows what issue they are discussing anymore and who cares, because every Kelly/Weiner confrontation is a memorably exciting event. These two need to take their act on the road!

Megyn Kelly Spars With Anthony Weiner On Obama's Deal For Tax Cuts

Mediaite.com:
It seems you just can’t shake the cool from Fox’s Megyn Kelly. We know, because on America Live today, Rep. Anthony Weiner gave it his best shot.

In a eleven minute segment that started as a discussion of President Obama’s deal on tax cuts, a very testy Weiner criticized the president for “not fighting hard enough.”

But as the conversation drifted to the estate tax, Weiner seemed to have no patience for Kelly herself, interrupting, sighing, looking away, clapping his hands and clearly crossing the line into condescension:

KELLY: You mentioned the estate tax twice, so I do want to ask you about it. The argument from the other side is that it’s a morally corrupt tax. I don’t have a five million dollar estate–I’d like to some day–but if I work all my life and I pay my taxes on my income and then I die and I want to pass on what would be great if it were a five million dollar estate to my kids, why should I pay the government again? Why should there be a 35 or 45 or 55 percent tax on that again?

WEINER: You aren’t paying anything in that case because you’ll be dead.

KELLY: The estate is, and that’s less for my children.

WEINER: The only question is… look.

KELLY: No, you’re not… Answer my question. How is that fair?

WEINER: Megyn, Megyn… Megyn, you’re going to have to let me answer the question. We’re going to have a conversation that gets us anywhere.

KELLY: Go ahead.

WEINER: The only question here is not whether or not there should be a tax on that, the question is where the limit should be and how much should…

KELLY: No, I’ll ask the question and you’re not answering. Just tell me how it’s fair.

Weiner, who never did answer that question, opted to pause, look around the Capitol and clap his hands before returning to camera and asking, “Ready?”

You get the feeling Weiner might’ve walked off after the interview and kicked a garbage can. And yet through it all, Kelly kept cooler than most of us can even get on vacation. It’s a clip that’s definitely worth a look, from Fox:

Liberal Rep. Anthony Weiner Says He 'Wrote' The House Health Care Bill

Politico.com:
Here's a clip of Rep. Anthony Weiner at a town hall meeting, asked about the health care bill, declaring, "I wrote the bill. ... The bill and I are one."

Weiner made the comments on Monday night at the Middle Village Property Tax Association, taking rather strong ownership of the congressional reform bill that few are embracing when a voter asked about it. Weiner had been a strong advocate for a single-payer option, which was never part of the final drafts.

The Senate version of the health care bill had most of the elements that actually passed, not the House one. Weiner's little-known GOP opponent, Bob Turner, was also there, as were Democratic officials including state Sen. Joe Addabbo and Assemblyman Andrew Hevesi, I'm told.

Prolific Cheater Bill Clinton Asked To Officiate At Liberal Pol Anthony Weiner;s Wedding

Bill Clinton, former US President, is likely to receive a practice at the altar on Saturday as he will officiate at the marriage of Representative Anthony D. Weiner and Huma Abedin, who happens of a longtime aide to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Many believe that Weiner’s wedding will give a good practice to the Clintons who are set for their daughter Chelsea’s marriage.
The ceremony will be organised at Oheka Castle in Huntington, N.Y., in the early evening. Confirming the news, Matt McKenna, a Clinton spokesman, told The Associated Press that Clinton would be officiating the ceremony. McKenna however, declined to divulge more details on this. Meanwhile, people close to Weiner, who represent Queens and Brookly, declined to comment.

The 45-year-old Weiner is considered as a longtime aide of Mrs Clinton. Mr Weiner, Jews by community has also been rated as the most eligible bachelors on Capitol Hill. Ms Abedin, 34, is Muslim and grew up in Saudi Arabia. Abedin had once appeared in a Vogue fashion spread.
Proof once again that the sanctity of marriage means nothing to liberals.
